"You know how to cook?" Hinata asked, surprised. Michiko lowered her eyes and nodded. "How so? I think you're doing fine." Rukia said. "You certainly helped me on the last mission." Daisuke smiled but it faded. "Yeah, I"ve been thinking about that... Shouldn't I have helped Zen-kun and Ai-chan? You always say that our team comes first." "I do say that. But aren't I a part of your team as well? Even if I am your sensei, I can't do everything alone. And I'm definatly not perfect. Zen-kun and Ai-chan did fine, and I am grateful for your help. You mustn't dwell on what is done. Had either of your other team mates been injured, then I would rethink your descision. Daisuke-kun, I've made a lot of descisions that I think I shouldn't have. But I've got to live with them. You do the same, okay?" Rukia tried to consol the genin. Daisuke nodded. "I do still feel kind of bad though. Zen-kun says it all the time: I'm a bother." "Zen-kun's got his head up his *ss; that's his problem." Rukia reached behind her neck and unlatched her necklace. She stood in front of Daisuke and dangled the necklace; the crest of the Uchiha clan reflected the setting sun. "I want you to have this." Daisuke stared at the necklace, wide-eyed. "Won't your cousin get mad?" Rukia rolled her eyes. "I bet Sasuke doesn't even know I wear it. And besides, I don't care what he thinks about me. Not anymore. Now here-" Daisuke stood up and let Rukia fasten the necklace on him. "Thanks, sensei." "Don't thank me." Rukia said. "Just show me that you can be just as good as us 'great Uchihas'." "I won't let you down, sensei!" Daisuke promised, touching the charm. "Good. Now, show me that take off." Rukia smiled and put her hands on her hips. "Okay!" Daisuke smiled and then jumped away. "He's a good kid." Rukia muttered to herself.
Daine sat up, keeping her eyes on the skeleton. "Key words: MAY be. I'm not the hero type. Sure I want to be... more than anything. But you're right, I don't have the skill. So just let me go back so I can go home and be a normal reject."

Daine held on tightly to her bow, staying still. "Who are you??"
Daine backed up and fired. Forget giving it a chance. This thing is obviously an enemy.

"Daisuke-kun," Rukia paused. "This is kind of hard to talk about. But I'll talk to you since you talk to me." Daisuke smiled. "You're the only person I can talk to." Rukia's heart warmed at Daisuke's comment. "Remember Kiba-kun and Akamaru? They helped you three with your training a couple weeks ago." "Yeah! They were really cool!" Daisuke said, staring to swing in small arcs. "... He and I were dating." Rukia shut her eyes. "I had to..." Daisuke stopped swinging. "Break up...?" "Yes... I can't say why right now. You won't understand." Rukia straightened and looked at Daisuke. "Don't bother yourself with me." She wiped her eyes. "I can tell there's something else you wanted to say." Daisuke pushed backwards uncomfortably. "I think I'm holding back the team."

Michiko poked it with her fork, wondering if she could make it look as though she ate it. Hatsumi nodded to Sasuke as she chewed. "Alright." Hinata gently took Naruto's and hand and weaved her fingers through his. "Good. Now show me a great take off." Rukia smiled. "Hai!" Akira and Zentaro left, but Daisuke stayed. "Something wrong?" Rukia asked, her smile fading. "I was going to ask you that, sensei." Daisuke said. "You seemed... distracted." Rukia sighed. "Come here." She put a hand on Daisuke's shoulder and walked over to the tree with the swing. Daisuke sat on the swing.
Daine wanted to fire the arrow, but something was telling her to at least give the wolf/skeleton soldier a chance to say something.
Hinata smiled weakly. Anything for you, Naruto-kun... "It's hard to get along with a loser like Daisuke-kun." Zentaro folded his arms. "I'm not a loser!" Daisuke objected. Akira just sighed and rolled her eyes. "I expect better from you three on our mission. Understand?" Rukia gave the three genin a dirty look. "Of course, sensei." Akira got in the first response while the other two mearly mumbled. "Alright; everyone understand what we'll be doing?" Rukia asked, hands on her hips. "Yes sensei!" Zentaro's repsonse was louder than the other two in the chorus. "Lamb." Sakura replied simply. OOC: i just got the lamb thing from what my family at last night. v_v i'm vegitarian...
Daine stood quickly, knotching an arrow. "Guess you're not on my side." She mutered. OOC: T-T gtg see ya tomorrow
"I do." Hinata said. "Our mission is a simple one. Or at least it should be. It all depends on your teamwork. So get over you differences now or we'll have a rough time." Rukia said. "All we've got to is transport some items to Kirigakure." "That's all?!" Zentaro exclaimed. "Why can't we have something harder?" "Because you're not ready for something harder. You're genin so you get genin appropriate missions." Rukia explained. "I can't wait for the chuunin exams. We're gonna be great!" Daisuke put his hands behind his head. "Can't you stay focused for more than a second?" Akira folded her arms. "Guys." Rukia was starting to get fed up. "You've got to learn to get along with each other." OOC: gtg see ya tomorrow
Hinata hugged Naruto. "I want to do whatever will make you happy." Daisuke came running up, practically falling on his face. He got to his feet quickly. "Sorry I'm late, sensei." "Tch; what were you doing? Spying on girls?" Zentaro smirked. "No!" Daisuke said quickly. "I was... I was helping an old lady." "Sure." Zentaro said sarcastically. "Enough you two." Rukia cut in. "It doesn't matter why you were late, Daisuke-kun. Just try to stop doing it." Daisuke nodded. "So, Rukia-sensei, what's our mission?" Akira asked.
Rukia met up with her team near the academy. "Where's Daisuke-kun?" She asked, noticing he was missing. "Not here." Replied Zentaro. "He's late as usual. Can we just go on without him?" "Zen-kun! We've got to wait for him. We can't just leave him out." Akira said. "She's right. We'll just have to wait for him to get here." Rukia sighed. Hinata cracked a smile. "Thank you."
Hinata looked up at Naruto. "You really think so?" Sakura ate silently. I'll have to talk to him after dinner. Hatsumi released Michiko and gave her a reassuring smile. Michiko smiled back. The two began eating.
"Don't say that." Sakura told Sasuke. Michiko looked at her hands in her lap. "... She does...?" Hatsumi put an arm around Michiko's shoulder. "No. Daddy was just joking." She said, trying to make Michiko feel better. Hinata looked at her feet. "I... I'm... worried... What if they don't like me? What if I can't be the mother they want? What if I'm not a good mother?"
Daine turned and looked at the wolf. She asked it where she was, warry if it understood her or not.
Daine looked around. What the heck did that wolf do? Where am I? Where's Kaze?!
"That's not it." Hinata said quickly. "Let's eat before it get's cold." Sakura said. Michiko and Hatsumi sat quickly. "... How come Mommy was sad?" "I don't know." Hatsumi shrugged. "Just ask her on your walk."
Daine patted Kaze's neck and then dismounted. She knelt down so that she was at eye level with the wolf. "You're not like any wolf I've seen." She muttered, starting to forget about Ganondorf.
