"Working with the team. Kiba-kun and Akamaru have really improved. So has Shino-kun." Hinata said. "Um, I've read, and trained, and-" She stopped, catching herself from saying something embarassing. "That's all." Hatsumi went outside to stand next to Sakura. "Did you mean it?" Sakura looked down at Hatusmi and sighed. "Unfortunatly, yes. Wouldn't you be upset if your father and I weren't getting along?" "You aren't." Hatusmi pointed out. "I am." Sakura smiled crookedly. "You're right. Well, that's how I feel about his relationship with Rukia. Of course, it's not ALL his fault; Rukia is to blame as well."
Kai paced a fair distance away from Telren's base. She'd tied her hair back in its ribbon again and her eyes seemed to hold a new meaning. They had a certain resolve in them. She paced and paced, thinking about too many things. Garxena's mind was swirling with thoughts that she didn't want to think about. She clung to Silax, feeling emotions run through her. She thought of Zentaro's warning of Dexeon and Takeshi and Hideo, she thought of Kai and her harsh words, and she thought of Kairi, her best friend who tired to help her but ended up confusing her more.
"Hi, welcome to Burger King. How may I help you?" "WHOPPER!!" "What?" "WHOPPER NO ONIONS!!"
Daine stood, still trying to get Kaze to calm down. "Well, there was this wolf... turns out it was a skeleton actually, and it took me somewhere and it helped me with my magic.... How long have I been gone?" She asked.
Hinata surpressed a laugh. She gave the waitress her order of miso ramen. The waitress complimented their choices, and told them it wouldn't be very long before it was ready. She took their menues and left. Hatsumi looked down at her hands guiltily. Maybe I should have said something else....
Daine stumbled and fell onto her rear. She was greated with nips and questions from Kaze. "Easy. I'm alright." She said, trying to sooth the gelding.
Hatsumi didn't understand. All she knew was that she and Michiko were just wanted things; like a child wants a teddy bear. She folded her arms. "In the middle of the first collum." Hinata answered, smiling.
Daine was silent at that. She realized the skeleton was right and had nothing else to say.
"Nope." Hinata went in, and she and Naruto were led to a table and given menues. Hatsumi slowly looked up at Sasuke, fiddling with her hair. "Were Michiko and I just for you...? Are we just something you wanted...?"
Hatsumi couldn't look at Sasuke. She nodded. "Yes." Hinata came to a stop outside a shop about two streets away from Ichiraku.
Hinata laughed. She took Naruto's hand and started running. "Don't fall behind!" Hatsumi kicked her legs back and forth uncomfortably. "You're my daddy. You're the best."
"Kai..." Garxena didn't look up. "If it ends then she'll have to be-" She couldn't continue.
Garxena shut her eyes, holding back a sudden wave of tears. "I don't want it be over..."
Garxena lowered her eyes. "I can help. I can fight. I want to help. I want to fight. Don't leave me behind. I hate it. It kills me when you leave. I'm coming with you next time."
Sakura shut her eyes. "Sasuke... I know what it's like to have family die. Maybe not to the same degree as you. I know I'll never fully understand the hurt you went through. But I grew up without a dad so I can relate." Her voice was quiet but dangerously angry. "All you've ever thought about was yourself. You've done nothing for no one until Michiko and Hatsumi came along. And yet they were for you too. You're so caught up in your own little world that you can't see the needs of the people around you. The people like Rukia who need you. The people like Rukia who almost died for you. You can't see that she does everything to impress you because you're too blinded by what you want. She says she doesn't care about you. She says she can handle things alone. But do you honestly believe that? Because if you do, you're not the person I thought you were." Sakura stood up and went outside. Hatsumi bit her lower lip. Is she right...? Hinata smiled. "I haven't tried it. That's just what I've heard. I guess you'll have to see for yourself."
"Link?! But I.. I'm not like Link! He's... incredible. I'm a girl with a bow and barely controled magic!" Daine said, shocked. "How could I be like Link?"
Garxena gently broke away. "Where do you go? Why do you go for so long?"
"And who would that be?" Daine asked, curious. OOC: dinner. not sure if i'll be back or not
"Aw...." Michiko sighed. "I'm hungry." "You didn't eat?" Rukia asked. Michiko shook her head. "Alright then. I know where to go." Rukia hoisted Michiko onto her shoulders. "Hang on." Michiko laughed. "This is cool!" Hinata began leading Naruto. "I've heard people say that the ramen is better than Ichiraku's." She said, knowing that Naruto would definatly have something to say about that. "Maybe if you tried being nicer to her, she'd trust you more." Sakura said dryly. OOC: i gtg for dinner. not sure if i'll be back or not
"You've certainly done that." Daine said, smiling a bit.
