Sakura pulled her hand back. "It's not like anything in Konoha. I've never seen something this color before either." She looked at the thick, bright green liquid on her fingers. Hinata blushed. "Th-thank you." "He knew it was the right thing to do." Rukia said. "Anyway, your father was the leader of the coup d'etat, and Itachi entered the Black Ops as a spy on you father's request. But Itachi did the opposite. He gave Konoha information on the Uchiha. In other words, he was a double-agent. Itachi chose that path because of all the deaths he'd seen during the 3rd Ninja War when he was just four. He thought it best to stop a war before it started. Seeing all that trauma at such a young age made him a person who hated war. He put the stability of the village first and worked towards peace. He didn't want the village to be wrapped up in conflicts, and the elders used that to their advantage. They gave him a secret mission... an eye for an eye so to speak... Only someone with the Sharingan would be a match for the Uchiha. His mission... was the annihilation of the entire Uchiha clan."
Satoshi shut her eyes. "... I did that badly, huh?" Sakura took her hands away from Satoshi's back before she'd finished healing. She rubbed her fingers together. "Hmm..." She extended her hand to Gaara. "I found the drug. Recognize it?" Hinata looked up at Naruto. "You mean it?" Rukia sighed and continued. "The third Hokage was the one who voiced dissent about this whole thing. But his advisors and Danzo-sama wouldn't listen to him. They had never trusted the Uchiha. Because of that, hard feelings arose in the Uchiha and their suspicions became reality. The Uchiha formed a coup d'etat to take over the village. So the higher-ups of Konoha planted a spy within the Uchiha.... That spy was your brother."
OOC: lol me too! see ya later *hug goodbye* Satoshi opened her eyes. "They said... they said you were..." Tears formed in her eyes. "I'm so glad you're okay... I did what I could... I just wasn't good enough... There were too many of them... I couldn't... I'm sorry." Hinata tried to understand how Naruto felt, but it still made her feel badly. "I guess that's best..." "I don't know." Rukia said. "Do you want to hear the rest?"
Sakura put her hand on Satoshi's forehead. Satoshi calmed, closing her eyes again. "Where am I?" She asked hoarsely. "Gaara.... Where's Gaara...? Is he okay...? Tell me he's okay." Sakura looked at Gaara, expecting him to answer. Hinata giggled and bit and squirmed from Naruto's hold. She took the cooled pot off the heater, tiping it just enough so that Naruto could see. "It's just the bottom bit that I messed up on." Rukia hesitated. "He left the village, feeling betrayed by everyone. Wanting revenge... he challenged Konoha with the Kyuubi. He was defeated by Hashirama in the place now known as The Valley of The End." She looked at Sasuke, half expecting him to realize that's where he and Naruto had had their fight when they were younger. She continued, "Everyone thought he died there. And he was eventually forgotten. Hashirama's younger brother took the position of Hokage. He wanted to make sure that another Uchiha traitor wouldn't rise up, so he gave them a special position as a sign of trust. The police. But it's true purpose was to distance the Uchiha from governing the village and to keep them under surveillance. Some Uchiha realized what was going on and they rebelled against the Hokage. Time passed and the Senju held the most power. The Kyuubi attacked again at that time. The Uchiha are the only ones who can control the Kyuubi so the leaders of Konoha thought that it was their doing. They had nothing to do with it this time. Konoha's leaders thought that another rebellion was starting. So they made sure that ANBU were watching them at all times. The Uchiha's were practically separated from the rest of the village."
"I don't know..." Sakura replied. Satoshi's eyes flickered open. She opened her mouth to try to speak but started coughing instead. Rukia put her hands in her lap. "After the truce was made between the Uchiha and Senju, they made a pact with the Land of Fire, which wanted their help in controlling their territory. They began the system of one village per country. Other's followed suite and little by little, the fighting stopped. But there was dispute over the position of Hokage. Of course, Hashirama got the position. Everyone chose him. Except Madara. To him, it was obvious that the Uchiha were losing their suppremacy. He wanted to make sure that the Uchiha were always on top, so he chose to oppose Hashirama. He tried to start a rebellion, but no one followed. In his eyes, he was betrayed. He was told her was greedy and wanted only power. People said that he took his brother's eyes to save his own life.... He asked them: 'What man would willing harm his brother'?"

"Simply put: it's breaking down the immune system. Eventually, it will lead to death." Sakura answered, working on the last wound. "The most I can do is slow it down. But I don't know how much it will hurt her if I try." Rukia went to her bed, rubbing her neck. "What did I tell you last?" Hinata nodded. "I wasn't expecting you back for a while. I made some ramen but I burnt the bottom..."

Rukia glared at Sasuke, forcing herself to keep a straight face. "Let me go and I might tell you." Sakura had healed two of the three kunai wounds by the time Gaara finished. "... I don't see when it happened then... Unless it was when that smoke went off..." She muttered to herself. To Gaara she said, "She's under drug induced fever. I can't do anything about it." Hinata put a finger to her lips nervously. "I hope she'll be okay..."
Rukia shut her eyes and grit her teeth. "You're not getting anything out of me that way." Sakura set to work right away. "They're deep..." She murmured. "Tell me what happened." Hinata came out of the kitchen, smiling when she saw Naruto. "Are you okay? What happened?"
Satoshi went limp in Gaara's arms. Her chest moved up and down in quick, shallow breaths. Sakura came instantly when she heard her name. "How bad is it?" Rukia put her book down and got off her bed. She went to her door and opened it. "About what?"
OOC: eep! *hides* Satoshi was pale and sweating but her cheeks were red. She could tell she was being carried but she didn't know by who or to where. Her back was stripped with pain; she didn't know how much longer she could keep herself concious.
He'll come back just to know the rest about his brother. He doesn't know what he's gotten himself into. Tobi snickered and then disappeared.
"I don't really care." Tobi muttered. OOC: dinner bbl
"Great... I'll go tell ______-sama that you lost her." Zetsu melted into the sand and then the ground. Tobi looked where Lee had gone and then back at Sasuke. "Do you plan on doing anything useful?"
"Who are you?" Zetsu glanced at Sasuke. "Itachi-san's brother." Zetsu looked at Tobi. "Ah, another Uchiha. Seems like you don't need me." Tobi shook his head. "Just take her and go." He took his foot off Satoshi.
Tobi let out an exasperated sigh. "Learn more and we can chat later." Zetsu came up from the ground near Tobi and Satoshi. "Heh... Looks like I've missed something interesting between you two."
Tobi shook his head. "That's just the tip of the iceburg. He never wanted anything but happiness for you." He looked down at Satoshi. "But he's not the topic here. She is."
Elfaron tilted her head. "Is something wrong?"
