Sakura put her hands on her hips. "You think that will solve anything?" Hatsumi moved as quietly as she could and went outside. What were they talking about? She kept her movements quiet until she felt she was far enough away and then ran to the Hokage's office, hoping to find Naruto. She knocked on the door softly.
Sakura put the plates in the sink and turned on Sasuke. "Don't." She said forcefully. Hatsumi froze. What did he say?
"Sasuke, I know you're worried, but restraining her won't work." Sakura kept calm. "She's young and needs to go out. And now that you've given her that challenge, she'll want to do that too." Hatsumi moved slowly and carefully down the stairs.
"I'm not going to confine her to the house." Sakura said, taking the plates into the kitchen. Hatsumi folded her arms. They ARE talking about me!
Sakura collected the plates from the table. "Maybe he has a plan, and it's just not ready yet. I don't know how he thinks. But I think you should keep away from him for a while." Hatsumi crept down the stairs, being careful not to make a sound. She pulled her braid over her shoulder and toyed with the end of it, stopping halfway down the stairs. I've just got to know what they're talking about.
OOC: lol tsunade is awesome XD "I know what you do is important." Sakura stood up. "But it's your brother we're talking about. If the past serves true, he'll take her at his first chance. And since she knows only what she's seen in her dream, she'll look for him."
Hinata smiled, watching Naruto go and then went back inside. "I teach them things they need to know before they go to the academy. I clean when things need cleaning. I play with the girls when they get bored or start to worry about you. I tell them stories of Team 7. I cook for them and you. And I think about you." Sakura said, keeping her voice low. Michiko looked over at Sakura and Sasuke and tugged Hatsumi's sleeve. Hatsumi followed Michiko's gaze. They're arguing again. Rukia stood up. "Come on, girls, let's go do your hair." Hatsumi and Michiko followed Rukia. I bet they're talking about us... again.
"What do you think I do all day when you're gone?" Sakura retorted calmly. "Shouldn't you go to the Hokage's office?" Hinata asked.
"Then help her." Sakura said. "You know what it is, so do something about it." Hinata wrapped her arms around Naruto from behind and rested her head on his shoulder. "You're you and I love you. Don't worry about it."
"She has her mind set on something, Sasuke." Sakura replied. "Don't you understand?" Hinata sighed quietly. He really feels bad about this. She walked out to Naruto. "Today's your first day, you should be happy."
Hatsumi looked at Rukia. "If you're not busy, Rukia-san, could you help me with something?" "What is it?" Rukia asked. "I want to do my hair in a braid, but I can't do it by myself." Hatsumi smiled. "Of course." Rukia returned Hatsumi's smile. "Do mine too!" Michiko grinned. Hatsumi looked at Michiko. "You can already do it by yourself. Find something else to do." "I don't mind, it Hatsumi." Rukia said. "But-" Hatsumi sighed. "Fine." "You've made me happy with just this." Hinata said.
Sakura fixed a plate for Rukia. "She was quite worried about you." "I was called out early." Rukia lied. Hatsumi looked out the window. I wonder if he could help me with the jutsu... She mused. Sakura sat with Rukia and Michiko. "Is there anything else you have to do today?" "I don't think so." Rukia replied. Hinata lowered her eyes, but then turned to Naruto, smiling gently. "It's okay."
Hatusmi folded her arms. "They're my dreams." She muttered, though she knew that they were more than that. She glared at Michiko. "You told didn't you?" Michiko looked down guiltily and nodded. Sakura set a plate in front of Michiko and Hatsumi, and then put one at Sasuke's place. Rukia came in looking tired and worn. She greeted everyone and set her pack by the door. Michiko quickly went over to Rukia and bombarded her with questions. Rukia smoothed her hair. "I'll answer all those after I eat, okay?" Hinata sighed happily, but then got a thought. "Did you do something wrong?"
Hatsumi gave in but looked over her shoulder, hoping that she might see the man from her dream. It must be someone different... It has to be someone different. The one in my dream was kind... Daddy's wrong. She thought stubbornly. I'm going to look for him later... as soon as I get the chance. "Aren't you going to have some?" Hinata asked.
Hatsumi dug her feet into the ground. "But I've got to practice." Hinata giggled at Naruto's enthusiasm. She cut the pancakes and tried a piece. A bit surprised that he hadn't burnt them, she smiled and nodded to Naruto, showing that they were good.
Hatsumi looked back at Sasuke. "Why not?" Hinata smiled. "It smells good."
"Tall." Hatsumi said plainly. "I couldn't see his face. He had black hair and he was wearing a robe-ish cloak with clouds on it. He was very gentle when he picked me up and his voice was soft." She closed her eyes and exhaled. "Do you think I can meet him?" Hinata had woken and changed and she went to join Naruto. "You made breakfast?"
Hatsumi hugged her legs to her chest and rested her chin on her knees. "It was just me and a man. We were talking, but he wouldn't answer my questions. That's all."
That I agree with. The artist may sing and write what she pleases. I'm sure she knew there would be controversy when she wrote it. Maybe that's what she wanted.
