Kanonno took a small stack of pancakes away with her to the same couch she had sat on the previous night, resisting with all her might the urge to wulf them all down in one gulp. She hastily sat down and plunged her fork into the first pancake and brought it up to her mouth, not wasting any time digging in, each gulp making her stomach purr in appreciation. "Edible Heaven on a plate!" She exclaimed as she licked her lips hungrily. It was the first really decent meal she had had since...well..maybe forever! Her memory did her no good on the subject so she stuck with the idea that this was the best of the best, making the taste seem ever more refreshing. The thought of the days "to do list" made her a tad gloomy, searching for supplies around here was never too much fun, especially if you did it solo, she had learned from experience. I guess company will make it better...maybe she told herself a few times, trying not to trigger any depression that might ensue if she became too pessimistic. She moved that to the back of her mind, however, as she finished off the last golden cake of the gods. "That was really enjoyable! Thank you very much!" She smiled gratefully and returned the plate, patting her stomach as it continued to purr with delight.
