Well the main qualities that define this as a FM just aren't there. For instance, if it were (or part of) a final mix, it would have more than just a port and completely redone graphics. It would have extras to be included by that of a partner game (KH2FM by itself). Without it, it lacks all the extras that made it a part of the Final Mix. Now it is simply Chain of Memories, on the PS2, in full 3D graphics with English voices. There might be extras but we don't know that for sure yet. Until then calling it a FM isn't correct.

The chances of them being the same person are not nearly as high as them simply being two very important characters, which, in a collaborative effort, are very impacting to the story. Terra certainly appears most like the Xehanort we're used to in KH1, 2 and COM however. I think Terra is the individual we see there (Xehanort)--the one who lost his memory--he was probably influenced greatly by MX. It seems the most likely option. I haven't thought too much about it though.
I would most likely do two things if there are more than 1 save slot: 1. Play in order of the most important character to least important: Terra, Ventus and Aqua. 2. Then, to experiment, play in the order of Aqua, Ventus and Terra. Then mix-and-match later on. This game will be fun. XD

Well this is a subjective matter. Though there can be truth to this.
