Hannah didn't dare move. She knew it would happen eventually.
Hannah's blush deepened. "I want to go too.... The man who lived here was killed about five months ago. He wasn't the most sane person either...."
"I wish I could help." Hannah said averting looking at Edward. She bit her tongue, but she couldn't block the scent.
Hannah's pale cheeks gained color. "S- sorry."
Hannah pulled gently out of the embrace and put a finger to Edward's lips. "I understand." She said and then kissed him like she never kissed before.
Hannah sighed quietly, appreciating what Edward was saying, but knowing what would happen. "I'll kill people.... It doesn't matter how much I don't want to...."
"I shouldn't even be near him.... You heard what he said." Hannah said, not moving.
Hannah smiled softly but it faded quickly. "Van Helsing...."
Hannah tensed for a moment, then relaxed in Edward's arms. She seemed to forget eveything except the feel of his arms around her.
Hannah lowered her eyes. "Well, yes.... But...." She didn't know how to tell Edward the truth. "Edward, um.... If Dracula is killed, Aleera will be as well." She tried to make Edward understand without having to say it directly.
"I'd be happy." Hannah replied softly, suddenly lost in Edward's eyes.
Hannah took a step back, fresh tears coming to her eyes. "I wanted to tell you everything.... But I can see you don't want to listen." She turned and ran, not really caring where she was going and knowing no one else did either.
Hannah was taken aback for a moment. "I... I should have told you..." She stood up. "About him that is.... I really am sorry....""
Hannah's stomach churned. "E- Edward...." Her eyes went back to bright blue. "Thanks..."
Hannah's pace quickened as she searched for Edward. "Please, Edward! I have to talk to you!" Something grabbed her leg, causing her to trip. She turned to see three Dwergi, one attached to her leg. She kicked it off with her free leg, her eyes lighting goldenrod to see better in the darkness.
Hannah rushed out of the room. "Edward!" She called, looking through the darkness as if the place was lit.
John's grip on Hannah tightened. He searched her eyes, tempted to influence her, but decided against it. He let go of Hannah, going back to being 'calm'. "You have three days to make your choice. The werewolf, who will probably kill you, or me." "Who will torment me forever." Hannah muttered under her breath. "Why are you even giving me a choice?" "I never said I'd acknowledge it." John disappeared before Hannah could say anymore.
Hannah would have fallen to the floor but John caught her. "Don't touch me!" She yelled through her tears. "You know what he is, and yet you still try to love him." John muttered, letting Hannah drop. "You think you'll be better off with him?!" His voice rising. "He will kill you just as quickly as look at you!" Hannah buried her face in her hands. "Why do you hate me so?" John's voice was softer. Hannah looked up at him. "Perhaps your stupidity is one reason." John yanked her up by her shirt and slapped her hard across her face. "Whether you like it or not, I am your master and you will never go near that beast again!" Hannah cried out both from shock and pain. "I love Edward!"
John drew back. "Tell them." He said to Hannah. "In as much detail as you want." Hannah couldn't look at Van Helsing or Edward. "What he says is true." She uttered, feeling like she might cry. "But I don't like it! Edward, I have no choice!" John stroked Hannah's cheek. "You seemed," He turned her face towards him. "Exhilarated..." He eyed Edward before looking back at Hannah. "When you got my 'present'." Hannah yanked away from John, but he still held her wrist firmly. "I felt nothing but fear!" She sobbed. "Just let me go...." John released Hannah's wrist. "A bond of blood cannot simply be let go of."
Kairuto laughed. "He's never really had a chance to closely examine a mirror." He told Becky what Rei had told him. Wizard raised a paw, instantly putting it back down when his reflection did the same.
