"Silax," Garxena lowered her eyes. "Promise me you won't leave me again."
Hannah ran back to Edward. "You're insane!" She scolded, but then smiled. "Thank you."
Hannah listened closely to what was going on. She was ready to step in at the first gunshot.
Hannah stood slowly. "Be safe." She said softly to Edward. She followed Beatrice outside with the horses through the back door of the stables.
Hannah looked up at Edward. "I told you: he has silver bullets. I don't want to see you hurt again."
"A mini version of you." Hannah's response was muffled. "His name is Elijah Von Cullen." She kept her head between her knees. "Edward, please don't."
"It's fine, Edward. She's gone." Hannah sat in the hay and put her head between her knees.
"How could I not be after what he did?" Kairuto asked, anger edging his voice.
"Just tired." Hannah closed her eyes and when she opened them, they were back to blue. I smelled the girl again, Edward.
Hannah locked her eyes on the group, trying to forget the smell. For a moment she wondered why Edward didn't notice it, but she canceled that out by thinking that Angelyn didn't smell the same to Edward as she did to herself. "Looks like we're last to join our little entourage."
"Of course." Kairuto grumbled.
Hannah bit her lip, fighting the urge to go after Angelyn. "Yeah... twisted...." Her stomach churned at the thought, and she had an image of herself on stage with Angelyn.
"He better not. It'd be in his best interest." Kairuto said.
