Hannah tried to smile. "It's not your fault. I shouldn't have stopped you in the first place." Her stomach knotted when Jinx came in with the deer. "That's utterly disgusting...."

Hinata's cheeks flushed when she saw Naruto. "Wh- what's this for?" Satoshi turned at the sound of her name. "Yes?" Sakura gave Sasuke an incredulous look. "What's wrong?"
Hannah let out a small whimper of pain at the sudden movement. "It still hurts...." She adjusted herself to a more comfortable position before continuing, "We can go now; I'm sure Van Helsing is anxious to leave as soon as possible."
"No," Hannah mumbled, still half-asleep. "Go away...." She rolled onto her side, pulling the pillow over her head. Beatrice bit her lip, still wondering how Jinx was going to manage this scheme.
"But won't it look strange if you're carrying a... corpse... back here?" Beatrice asked as Edward came up. "Oh, she's fine, I'm sure. I haven't heard anything, so I'm guessing she's still sleeping." She answered.
Beatrice cringed. "I... smell good?" She forced the thought out of her mind. "I guess if it would help her feel better, then you should. But maybe... you should wait for less of a crowd." She said, referring to the people in the streets.
"I'm fine." Beatrice tried to smile. "Hannah doesn't want me with her right now though."

Kairuto slammed his door out of frustration. "Rei, what am I supposed to do?" "Just tell her you didn't know." Rei responded. "That's not what I meant!" Kairuto sighed, flopping onto his bed. "If you're gone... What'll life be for me anymore...?" Rei was taken aback. "Well... you'll have a normal life." "I hate normal." Kairuto mumbled.
"I promise." Kairuto said. "That can't happen." Rei's voice was quiet. Kairuto's smile faded. "Go back to sleep. We've got school tomorrow." He left, shutting Becky's door quietly. "What do you mean it can't?" "Once Megumi is gone, I will be too." Rei explained. "It just has to be that way." "Why didn't you tell me this before? Now I've made a promise I can't keep." Kairuto walked back to his room.
