"He said a lot of things." Hannah answered. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have dragged you into that."
Hinata took her hand away from the kunai poutch. "How do I know I can trust you?" OOC: okay, my brain's better now =)
"Of course." John answered Lestat. "I'm taking my time though. That little bit of Hannah's blood is enough for me use." "Okay, I will." Hannah promised, hoping she wouldn't regret it.
OOC: it's just conflicting with my brain. why would ROOT want to kill the hokage or kazekage? O.o BIC: "Who are you?" Hinata reached for a kunai.
"Do I have to answer?" Hannah tried to keep the reluctance out of her voice.
Hinata wanted to run to Naruto, but seeing the way Sai hesitated, she held back. "And what do you plan to do now?"
"Too much?" Hannah noticed she was lying on Edward. "Do you want me to move?" She asked.
Hinata felt a knot form in her stomach. "And what is it?"
"You're the one who's hurt." Hannah objected, more half awake than half asleep now, drawing the attention off herself. "I should be asking you that."
"I'm not." Hannah said, for one not denying it. "Don't come with me next time...."
"I can't," Hannah murmured, her eyes closing again. She cuddled closer to Edward, only half aware of what she would see if she fell back asleep.
Hannah opened her eyes cautiously. "Edward....?" She looked around again, trying to decide if it was real or more of John's tricks.
Hannah's eyes shot open; her breathing fast, close to hyperventalation.. She took in where she was and who she was with and shut her eyes tightly. Please, John... I'll go! Just stop....
Beatrice sighed. Maybe at our next stop I'll work on my sword skills a bit more. I want to help as much as I can. Hannah moaned. No.... John, please don't! Stop.... Stop it!
Yes." Hinata answered, following as quickly as she could.
Beatrice didn't bother trying to listen to Van Helsing and Jinx's conversation. By the wispering she guessed she wasn't supposed to hear. I hope Hannah will be okay. Edward, too. The blush returned when she thought of Edward. And I wish he'd put a shirt on.
"Are we ready?" Beatrice asked, taking the reigns.
John repressed a shiver. "That one's in over his head." He muttered. "Thinking he's high and mighty. I'd like to see him against Dracula." Beatrice quickly climbed back to her spot atop the carriage, her cheeks crimson. "I agree. We need to get moving." OOC: i guess that's all we can do until li'l angelyn comes back.... =(
"Then do your experiment on him. I don't really see a reason for you anymore. You obviously can't hold back the mongrel." John said. Beatrice wished there was something she could do to help Edward, but it looked like he was hurting inside and she didn't know what to do about that. "Your back, Edward... does it hurt?"
"Chances are they'll be on guard now, so I'll go to her at their second stop." John said. "While she's 'hunting' so that she's alone. Why do you care?" "You lied." Beatrice said, sounding even more stupid. "Why didn't you tell us? We could have helped." She paused. "They could have helped more than I can, but it would still be better than just the two of you going alone." She looked at Hannah and saw the blood, but no scrape, cut, or hole that the blood came from. "I think we should go now...."
