Garxena smiled, relaxing against Silax. But she remembered what Dexeon had suggested. "I will be. He promised he'd never hurt me again, but.... I don't know; I'm guess I'm still confused."
Beatrice's eyes widened. "I told you they're just talking!" A blush rose in her cheeks. "Of course I'm not going quietly." Hannah said, defense mixing with a slight pout. "Let's get going before he does whatever he did before again." She rubbed her head and stood. "Edward, you know he's going to touch me."
"He wants to change our deal." Hannah said lowly. "I was supposed to choice whether I would go quietly or not...." She slowly lowered her hands, the aching in her head repressing. "I guess we could just tell them that we're going for a walk." "Thanks," Beatrice smiled. "I'll try to get better."
Garxena stood behind Silax, her arms around his waist. "So tell me then, what does my brother really want?"
Hannah kept her hands on her head. "I didn't know he could do that.... He wants to meet with me. Now." She grimaced. "He said you could come." Beatrice sighed. "I'll be sure to remember that."
"He wasn't messing with us." Garxena objected. "He really was my friend." She smiled a bit at a memory. "I can't believe he got me in the water...."
Hinata was only a few paces behind, running at the highest speed she could.
Beatrice stared at Van Helsing blankly for a minute. She was sure she hadn't spoken out loud. Nevertheless, she pulled out a knife from the other side of her belt. She carefully though through her options and chose the safest one. She caught Van Helsing's blade in an X formed from her own two. John smirked. Judging by his stature, he'll be back soon. He leaned back against a tree and focused on the thought of Hannah. Hannah smiled and stood. "I'm fine, really. It's just a bit sore, but I won't have to worry about that once we're in the carriage." "Hannah," John knew Edward would probably hear, but he had a way to settle that. "Hannah, dear, if you'd be so kind as to join me for an evening stroll, I'd be more than happy to work out the details of our arrangement. Bring your little friend if it will make you more comfortable. Oh, and I'd love to know how that deer tasted." Hannah cried out, clutching her head and sinking back onto the bed. "No..." She moaned.
"Was that the only reason? Or was what Zepharus, one of my friends, said a factor too? That you were afraid to lose me to him?" Garxena asked.
Hinata slowly lowered the kunai. "Explain to me on the way."
"Only if I can get her alone. Otherwise, I'll see her at their first stop when she goes 'hunting'." John replied. "I could use my gift, but I'd rather not seeing at the mutt can hear thoughts." "It's just a dull pain now. It's the silver that causes the scar, not the magnitude of the injury." Hannah murmured in response. She looked up at Edward. "You know... you could wait until it's dry to put it back on. I mean, I wouldn't want you to get sick." Beatrice's face was filled with intense focus. He's going too easy on me. I guess it would be cheating if I drew another blade....
"After what you tried to do back there... even when you promised me I wouldn't lose you...." Garxena lowered her eyes. "I'm afraid because I don't want to lose you... I'm afraid because you might change again and I won't be able to do anything.... I'm afraid because I love you."
"I can't fairly decide until you tell me what's going on." Hinata objected.
Beatrice had trouble wrapping her mind around the concept. Van Hesling wasn't someone she wanted to hurt. She parried his attacks, sending in a few of her own in between. "Please do." John said with mock politeness. "I'm dying to see how it's done." Hannah could think of two things, but would rather not voice either. "Then maybe we should join them...." She put a hand under her shirt on her back, feeling for the top of the bandages and tearing them with ease. She unwound them, making sure not to look at the blood that stained them, and then put her hand back to the wound. "Lovely... another scar...."
Garxena felt a ripple of fear and anger pass through her at the sound of Silax's voice. "Forget it Dexeon; I'll be right back." She portaled to Silax, but not too close. "What is it?" She asked, her tone warry of Silax's response.
"Who are you?" Hinata demanded, ready to throw the kunai. OOC: =) good
"I don't think so." Hannah said. "They're probably talking about what we're doing." Beatrice took a step back, keeping her weight even on her feet. She blocked Van Helsing's strike at second position and swung down at fourth. "He protects her. He seems to have a different kind of control over her." John answered simply, noticing Lestat seemed to be thinking of something else. "They are heading to Transylvania to dispose of another mutt and then they're going to try to find Dracula."
"Plus... I think he's still the same.... Some part of him at least...." Garxena murmured. "I just can't tell for sure...."

Beatrice blocked Van Helsing's blade at position one. His strength made her own sword waver, but she held it firm, her other arm curved in front of her. "The dog's name is Edward. They travel with four others. Beatrice, a young, delicate, girl. Jinx, a vampire not much younger than myself. Carl, a clumsy friar. And Van Hesling, the famous murderer that all our kind knows. Quite a group." Hannah was quite for a moment. "I can try."
