John laughed. "Well I hope you enjoy the show then." Beatrice went over to Sorin to see him and to get a bit further away from Carl. She touched her forehead to the gelding's nose. "You're doing great." She praised.
Kairuto tossed his bag onto his bed and went to his desk to dive deeper into the history book. There's got to be SOMETHING in here that'll give me a clue about what happened. "I already told you," Rei began. "This has never happened before. Whatever Megumi did, it's new."
"Don't fret; I have a plan." John leaned against a tree.
"But I'll give her a bit of time before I visit her again." John said.
Beatrice nodded and smiled, though she wasn't really sure. "In that case, I'm only going to talk to her." John assured Lestat.
"Depends on your deffinition of 'talking.'" John smirked. Beatrice hopped down from her seat and went to stand tenatively next to Carl, giving him a small smile."We'll be fine."
"Oh," Kairuto stopped pacing. "Well... um... Okay then. I'm just gonna go study... or something." He grabbed his bookbag and headed to his room.
"Do you think the Hiwatari's had anything to do with it?" Kairuto asked, starting to pace.
Hannah sighed happily, cuddling closer to Edward. "Not in the least bit." John grit his teeth. Beatrice shifted in her seat.
Kairuto timed his return home perfectly, not surprised to see his parents home. He carried his bookbag as if he'd gone to school and tossed it near the door by his shoes. "What's wrong with Neechan?"
"I'll stay too." Beatrice offered, not fully aware of why she wanted to. "I trust you." Hannah closed her eyes, starting to drift to sleep. "Of course not." John smirked. Younger than me, but been through much, much more. I suppose I feel a bit of pity for him.
Dai got onto her cable car and went to her usual seat at the back.
Hannah scowled at the ground. "I wish you didn't have to. I don't want you to get hurt." "So you do it to feel?" John mused. Beatrice thought of questions she could ask Hannah when they met up again as she fiddled with the reigns.
"You irritate me." John mumbled. "How is anything you're doing helping you?" Hannah sat down next to Edward. "If he really cared... he would have given me a choice...." Beatrice smiled. He talks as if he owes it to Sorin.
OOC: uh... anyone i guess XD Dai made her way to the cablecar station, hoping Akari wouldn't bother her. She was more than ready for a nice ten minute ride alone.
Hannah nodded and went back to pacing. "Doesn't he see I don't care about him?" She asked rhetorically, now getting angry. "I mean, I thought I did... at a time... But I don't. Why can't he understand that?!" John sighed, exasperated. "I'm sure she'll love our life style." Beatrice focused herself back on the road.
Beatrice nodded. "Sorin and I are very close. I hate being away from him for a long time." She gazed dreamily at the road ahead, not even hearing Van Helsing. Hannah looked at Edward, stopping her pacing. "I thought you could already hear my thoughts." She smiled. "I was thinking about John," Her smiled faded. "About why he cares so much what I do.... Why he goes through the trouble he does... And wondering why he can't let me be...." "In a way." John repeated. "I'm sure she's very grateful."
Dai hurried to get off campus. The day had not been a pleasure for her and she was a hundred percent ready to get home. She caught the glances of a few boys as she passed and considered giving them the finger, but sternly told herself not to. She lowered her gaze to the ground as she continued.
John raised an eyebrow. "For her? She wanted it?" Hannah paced. "They'll have no trouble with it." She assured Edward. She was tired, but she wanted to think things through before sleeping. "I raised Sorin from the moment he was born." Beatrice smiled at the memories. "Sometimes it feels like we're one person."
"Most of us don't thanks to the hunters." John muttered. "What about that girl," He began louder, "You made her and you're not going to keep her?" "Just stay with me." Hannah said quietly. "I'd be the same way if it were Sorin." Beatrice pointed out. "He must have had Lexi for a long time."
