"I'm all ears." Hannah tried to smile but didn't succeed.
"Why did he tell you not to?" Hannah asked carefully. Beatrice nodded and followed Jinx, thinking about what had happened in the stables.
Hannah relaxed under Edward's hand. "Okay." "What can we do? The sun is coming up soon." Beatrice sighed.
Beatrice's smile faded. What am I so happy about? I was hearing Sorin's voice in my head.... I'm losing it.... I shouldn't tell them. She decided. "What else is there to talk about?" Hannah rolled onto her stomach.
"Not unless you can make it stop," Hannah mumbled. Beatrice knocked on Van Helsing's door, beaming. I wonder if I should tell them.
"Only a bit." Hannah flopped back onto her side. Beatrice kissed Sorin's nose. "I'll see you tomorrow. Maybe you can get some grazing time." With Lexi? Sorin's ears perked up. "I'll see what I can do." Beatrice ruffled Sorin's forelock and then headed back to the rooms.
"Come in," Hannah gave in. She shook her head, hoping to clear it but only causing a wave of dizziness. Sorin gently nudged Beatrice's shoulder. Thank you for being my 'dam. I couldn't have asked for a better life. "Don't you want to be with Lexi?" Beatrice smiled in full. If you don't want me to, then I won't. Sorin's ears folded back. "Van Helsing has to agree too, you know." Beatrice pointed out.
I see you're friend is back. John sighed. I'll let you be for now. Hannah slowly uncurled from her ball and sat up. "I just want to be alone." She yelled at the door. Yes? Beatrice felt her lips curve into a smile. "Thanks for being with me through all of this."
That was impressive, Hannah, John sent to Hannah. It comes naturally to someone like you. I'd be happy to fill your wish for more. "Get out of my head!" Hannah yelled, curling back into her ball on the bed. Beatrice hurried her way to the stables and went into Sorin's stall. "I'm so confused, Sorin..." She wrapped her arms around the gelding's neck and burying her face in his mane. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen.... All the pain Hannah is going through. I can't do anything to help. I'm just making things worse. And I'm sorry for dragging you through all this." I'm enjoying it. This is a nice change from all the constant farm work. Beatrice pulled away. "Sorin...?"
"I'm going to see Sorin." Beatrice blurted, getting uncomfortable with the situation. SHe stood up and headed out the door. Jeez... those two need to calm down.
Hannah pulled out of the boy when she heard his heart stop. She slumped back onto the bed. I remember that so well.... I hate how I enjoy it.... She cursed aloud. Why do I want more?! Hm.... I hope Sorin is feeling comfortable in his stable. Beatrice's mind started to wander.
Hannah hesitated for a moment. The boy looked so defenseless. She felt guilt well up in her as her fangs sunk into his neck, but it was gone the moment she felt the sweet liquid flow out of the boy. She felt some of her discomfort vanish. I hope they don't hurt each other.... Beatrice thought, seeing how Van Helsing and Edward were acting.
Beatrice suppressed a giggle.
Hannah sighed and stood slowly. Regretfully, she gave into her senses. Beatrice was about to retort 'you control yourself' but Edward came in so she held her tongue.
Beatrice looked at Van Helsing, her eyes wide. "You're... strange...." Hannah sat up, putting a hand to her head as the room spun more violently. "We wouldn't want to deny him that pleasure, right?" She tried to smile.
Beatrice shook her head. "She'll want him there."
"Should he be in there with Hannah right now?" Beatrice asked, knowing Hannah was so self conscious about this whole thing.
Beatrice nodded. "Maybe we should ask him. Later, that is."
"Do you think she'll be okay?" Beatrice asked.
Hannah looked at the boy and then at Edward. "I don't know...." "Oh," Beatrice relaxed. "I knew that."
