OOC: i'm having dinner soon. so if i leave i'll be back in about an hour BIC: Angel tried to resist Advent's pull, her heels dragging along the sidewalk. "So shouldn't we go back to the museum and see what the heck those things were?!"
"Oh really?" Angel huffed. "You're arguing a pointless battle when clearly there are more pressing matters that could use our attention." She stuffed her hands in her pockets. "And please don't say anything else that has to do with relationships."
'Dexeon, I want to go." Garxena whimpered. "Now."
Angel folded her arms and started walking back towards the museum. "Idiots." She muttered under her breath.
"What are we doing here?" Garxena asked, her voice shaking from fear. The last, and only, time she'd met with Hideo was a pain filled experience and she was not pleased to be near him again.
Garxena finally looked around and recognized the voices she was hearing. She pressed back in to the chair as far as she could. "Dexeon...."
Garxena's eyes shot open. "I can see Kai? But how? No one knows where she went."
Garxena moaned, hearing the subject of conversation.
Angel sighed angrily. "Look, I don't do relationships anymore so just let it go."
Garxena opened her eyes to the sound of voices. Groaning, she closed her eyes and curled tighter into the chair.
Angel folded her arms. "He didn't come on to me. He just complimented me."
"Are we just going to leave it that way?" Angel pressed.
John just nodded in agreement. Hannah didn't say anything else as she carefully started to bandage Edward's injuries. Beatrice looked at Van Helsing. "I think we should pick up our pace, too."
"And yet you're fifty years younger than me." John muttered. Hannah shot Van Helsing a dirty look and then turned her attention back to Edward. "We need to get you bandaged." Beatrice looked up, searching for the new, yet familiar, smell that entered the stables. She locked eyes with Carl for a brief moment and then lowered her head and turned back to Sorin to distract herself with his mane.
Hannah looked at Edward. "We should probably see if the others-" She looked at the floor. "Are you okay?" Beatrice wrinkled her nose. "What's that smell?" "Did you have nothing else to do other than seduce people?" John asked.
"Oh," Beatrice paused. "Well, I got a bit distracted." "Distracted?" Hannah repeated, raising an eyebrow. Beatrice played with Sorin's mane. "Well... I was, um, going after a deer... but I... got distracted..." "Spit it out." Hannah sighed. "I kinda ran into Lestat and John." Beatrice looked back to see Hannah's reaction and wished she hadn't. Hannah swore under her breath. "I should have gone with you." "What? Oh, no Hannah." Beatrice smiled. "I just heard them talking." "That doesn't matter. It could have turned to something else. Or you could have run into that hunter again." Hannah held up a hand to keep Beatrice quiet. "AND you still didn't get the deer, right?" Beatrice shook her head. Hannah groaned. "We should go quickly then." "No, Hannah." Beatrice objected. "I don't want you to strain yourself." John smiled. "You're good with werewolves."
"No, stay." Hannah said quietly to Edward. "Bee?" Beatrice looked away from Sorin and flinched when she saw Hannah. "Yes?" "You okay?" Hannah asked, noticing the flinch. "Um, yeah." Beatrice answered, dropping her arms from Sorin's neck. "Are you feeling better?" "No." Hannah answered plainly. "But you were taking a long time." "So it seems." John said. "I'll talk to her in a minute."
"What about the museum?" Angel asked. "It's a bit... damaged."
"Most likely." Hannah agreed. She was glad to see that the streets were practically empty. "Interesting." John mused.
Angel nodded. "It's fine by me."
