John restrained a chuckle at Hannah's thoughts. "I'll be keeping my distance from the hunters." He answered Lestat. "They were my parents, Edward." Hannah murmured.
"Shut up." Garxena snapped. "You're not being very helpful right now."
"But..." Hannah shook her head. She continued, softer, "You didn't kill them yourself...." She curled into a tighter ball. "It seems that time is past. After all," John couldn't help but smile. "Humans are the best selection on the menue."
Garxena turned to face Dexeon. "Why do you have to be so difficult? Can't you be nice to him at all?"
"Stop it; both of you." Garxena pleaded. "Silax... he's my last family right now. Please don't drive him away."
"Not about this." Hannah exhaled. "It's... too hard. I don't know how I did with Beatrice... But I don't want to do it again. Why don't you just go ask her? I'm sure she'd be more than willing to tell you everything else." She opened her eyes, keeping them trained on the wall. "My parents..." She began slowly. "They were the best parents I could ask for."
Hannah took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to calm down. "I shouldn't have told her about it. I knew she'd overreact and tell someone. Just forget she ever said anything."
"He's my brother." Garxena protested. "Can't you trust him at all?"
"Don't be mad at him," Garxena said softly. "He's trying to help." Hiro stuck his tongue out at Dexeon, not fooled for a second.
Garxena wrapped her arms around Silax's neck. "Don't you dare change..." She whispered. "I couldn't bear to lose you too..." Hiro came out from his hiding place in Garxena's cloak's hood. He nestled himself on Silax's shoulder, wondering if Garxena would ever be back to normal. "Promise me." Garxena murmured.
OOC: *squeezes* yay! BIC: Garxena tried to stop shaking, but Dexeon's voice made it impossible to calm down and asses the situation. Her trembling increased and she could only think of how much easier things would be if she had Kai with her.
OOC: WHERE'S MY EDWARD?! :cryinganime: *cough* anyway... *cough*
OOC: i don't cope with loneliness well! TT-TT
OOC: i think we're all alone now... T-T this is sad....
'Shiny' is a cool title chapter XD but 'Waiting for the damn fight to start already' beats it! You gotta love Jacob's epic titles.
I have to go with Valor on this one. It's a classic. ^^
I agree with Flamedancer, Jacob's title chapters were much more epic than Bella's! XD What do I think of Jacob? Ugh. He can be such a pain in the ars!! But other times, you just gotta love him ^^
Garxena still clung to Silax, shaking. She didn't know how much more she'd be able to handle.
"I don't think she'd like that," Beatrice said cautiously. "She didn't want me to tell you about her nightmares in the first place. I am really worried, though. I don't think she should be keeping secrets like that." She paused. "I did leave out a bit-" "That's enough Beatrice." Hannah said sharply, not opening her eyes. "If you're going to spill my secrets you should make sure I'm asleep." Beatrice squeeked. "Oh, Hannah! I'm so-" Hannah glared at Beatrice, cutting her off, her eyes a molten shade of gold. "You should go hunting before we start moving again." "O-okay...," Beatrice stood and glanced worriedly at Edward before she left the room. Hannah continued to glare at the wall once Beatrice was gone, too angry to speak to Edward.
