"You're even more impossible." Angel retorted. "I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself."
"Then I'm screwed." Angel rolled her eyes. "As soon as this is over, I'm coming back to my family." She decided.
"I have a family to think about. I can't just leave." Angel replied. OOC: nighty night! XD
"What do you mean by 'this'?" Angel asked.
Angel turned her head away. "I can't." She said quietly.
Angel shivered and looked away from Advent, but otherwise didn't move. "Yeah, it was a good thing." She looked back and met Advent's eyes. "I guess I do trust you."
"You haven't done anything too bad." Angel said, blushing. OOC: :stupid:
"I'm no hero." Angel turned her head away. OOC: teehee!!
Angel stood up. "I told you I want to. I want to be able to trust someone. But why you? Why anyone? Wouldn't it be better for me to just go on with my life? What I do... what those other people did... it's not normal. It's not right. I'm not ready for all this." OOC: i know a bit
Angel ran her hands through her hair and then flopped onto the ground with her hands in her lap. "I want to... I really do... But I'm... scared by all this. This was all supposed to be the stuff of legends...." OOC: lolz x-2 ftw
OOC: why not just a big ol' happy FF family XD BIC: "How can I not? How do I know that others won't be like him?" Angel questioned. "How can I know to trust anyone with what I can do?"
"Sorry," Angel murmured. "It's just... this is all happening so fast...." OOC: epicness! =D
Angel sighed, fearing she had another Thomas situation coming on. "That's what Thomas said too." OOC: what would it be?
"Because of what I can do?" Angel asked.
"Why?" Angel asked, stuffing her hands back in her pockets. She couldn't help but wince. "What's so special about me? Besides this whole cosmos thing."
Angel resisted the urge to pull her hand back. "You shouldn't get involved." She said quietly, trying not to wince.
That's all I'll write for today. I miss her so much.... I wish she hadn't said that. It tears a new whole in me every time I think about it.... New friends? No. Gotten used to it here? A bit.
"Don't worry about it," Angel said, her voice steadier. "He's... He's never done that before.... I...." She faded off and shook her head.
Angel lowered her head. "Not really," She replied, her voice cracking from sudden tears. "I- I'm fine."
"Yeah, I'm fine." Angel said, stuffing her hands in her pockets. Truthfully, her wrists were a bit sore, but she didn't see the need to tell Advent that.
