Hannah sighed. "Okay. I trust you. But I am more unsure of myself now. I don't know much about lycans but I know that a first full moon for lycans and werewolves is not pleasent."
Angel kept her daggers in a defensive position. "First, I did answer your question. I'm not risking my life because I know how I'm going to die; I've seen it. Second, I come because you're my friend and I want to help you." OOC: buh bye! =D i don't know if i'll be on tomorrow or not
"Why can't you?" Hannah asked. "I will follow you, but I'd like to know what it is we have to do."
"I know I'll live." Angel half smiled. "I already know how I'm going to die, and it's not here."
Angel shook her head. "I don't want to hurt you, Advent." She entered her room, both her hand firm on her daggers. "I know you can control yourself."
Claire took Renge's hand. "We've got to go." She said quickly and the pulled Renge out the door. "My mom sure knows how to plan her shopping trips." She muttered and then looked at Renge. "What's your place in all this?" Angel shifted her daggers back to both hands and headed back towards her room. "Advent...?" She called quietly, unsure if she should announce her presence or not.
"I fully trust you." Hannah replied. "But that doesn't erase my fear... or my pain...."
Hannah pressed herself against Edward. "I want to be with you as much as possible. But I don't know what I'll be like if I... if I live through the change." John stayed a fair distance back, watching Lestat's graceful entrane and waiting for an oportunity to enter himself.
Angel took the opportunity of distraction between Advent and Renge and ran out of her room to find Claire. She held both her daggers in one hand and took Claire by the shoulder with her free hand. Claire started at Angel's sudden appearence. "Angel, oh you're okay. What happened? What did you see?" "No time for that." Angel said quickly. "Claire, I need you to hide. Just do it. Don't ask questions. Please, listen to me. I don't know what's going on. I do have an idea of what will happen. Now I need you to go out. Go to one of your friends' houses or something."
"Edward," Hannah began, struggling to keep her voice steady. "Edward, how can you prevent it? If it were possible to die of stress, I'd be long dead. Edward, I'm scared. This is all so much, so soon. I thought being a vampire was being a monster.... but now... a lycan...? To be two in one? I don't know what to do, Edward." She lowered her eyes. "But I want you to stay with me." "Greet?" John chuckled. "You first."
Hannah smiled weakly. "There's nothing that can stop it, Edward. Chances are the werewolf I bit will die because of my venom and I'll die because I'm too weak to withstand the change. It's a simple fact." "There's nothing I can do." John answered. "I can only hope that she'll live through it. Though she will be one of a kind if she does." "I... I don't know." Beatrice replied. "It's... hard, you know?"
"I didn't get a chance to...," Beatrice closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Hunt." Hannah grimiced at Edward. "It seems legends aren't really legends anymore. Haven't you heard of Lycans?" John gave Lestat a brief nod. "I know. Vampire venom is poisonous to a werewolf, but if a vampire gets werewolf blood in their system it's a different story. They either die, or become a hybrid known as a Lycan." He explained, not sure if Lestat knew. OOC: i'm gonna hook up the laptop upstairs. so i'll bbs ^^
Angel pushed back the wave of dizzienss passing over her and lunged to her bed. She unsheathed her daggers, got off the bed, and pointed one dagger at Advent. "I don't want to fight with you." She held the other dagger in a defensive position. She wasn't thinking of her safety or anyone else in her room, she was thinking of her half-sister, Claire.
OOC: the feeling better is gonna take some time... i wish i didn't have a mouth right now DX
A shiver passed through Beatrice when she felt sharp points against her gums. "I..." She looked up at Jinx. OOC; gtg to dinner. i'll edit for hannah and john when i get back.
Angel's eyes flashed to her daggers on her bed and then back to Advent. "You don't like to play fair, do you?" When Renge came in the room, Angel covered her eyes against the light and bit her tongue to keep herself awake.
"Y-yeah, okay." Angel mumbled, slowly getting to her feet. She swayed and held onto her dresser for support. "Sure," Claire said uncertainly. "They're in Angel's room. The last room in the second hall down there." She said, pointing the way. OOC: brb. gotta take some meds.
"I don't feel well...." Beatrice answered Van Helsing. Hannah doubled over, her hands on her head. She couldn't help the groan of pain that escaped her lips. "Edward... it feels like my head is going to burst...." She didn't want to keep anything from Edward, knowing how he felt about it and knowing that he was the only one she wanted to be with through all of this. "The... the moon... makes it worse...." John followed Lestat quietly, thinking over what he'd heard in Jake's thoughts.
"I can handle it, Mom." Claire said blandly and waited for her mother to leave before speaking to the girl. "Yeah, he is. What do you want?" Angel bolted upright with a scream. She looked around her room, panting and pale. Her eyes found and rested on Advent. "How... how long was I out...?"
Claire's face twisted with confusion. "Can you stay with her for one more minute? I'm gonna see who's at the door." She stood up quickly and left to go to the front door. Angel's head lolled to one side; her breathing steady.
