Hannah shook off her hood the moment they were inside. "Okay, I'll let Carl take a look at it." I figured as much. John said. I'm just puzzled over why.
"It'll be fine." Hannah said. "Just give it a moment. I have burned myself before. This is a bit worse, but I'll live." She smiled. I just pay close attention. John responded. And pry a bit in her thoughts.
Hannah pulled her cloak around herself, wincing at the sting the fabric caused her hand. "I'm glad you understand." I don't think she'll kill randomly. I think it will be her instinct of enemy over friend. John theorized. Or whoever pissed her off last.
"We should get back." Hannah sighed, breaking the kiss after a moment. "And I really should go out with Beatrice and Jinx tonight." That would be the moon tomorrow night. John replied. I'm sure she'll enjoy the power. Once she stops worrying about killing that is.
Angel kept pace behind Alex, staying silent as she pondered how she'd fight without her daggers.
Hannah was a bit upset that there was something else she couldn't be told, but she still managed to smile at Edward. "I hope it does." Extremely. John muttered.
Hannah threw her arms around Edward. "I'm sorry." John glared at Hannah and Edward and then turned and stalked off. That makes me sick. "Whatever you say, I'll do. I promise." Hannah said. "I'm just so scared of becoming something I don't want to be."
"If you wanted him dead so badly, why didn't you do it?" Hannah turned back around. "I can't do that, Edward. I can't live with myself being a killer. I've killed before, you know that; my own parents! If I can help it, I won't do it again... to anyone." She looked at Edward now. "That's what I'm scared of. Tomorrow... when I lose control... I... I might kill someone. And I... might enjoy it... especially if it's him." That's what I'm hoping for. John replied. Though she won't be as aware of her actions as she is now. Instinct will overpower her petty fears.
Hannah opened her eyes, still trying to control her anger. "What the hell was that, Edward?!" She turned her back on Edward, slamming her fist into the tree. "You think I'm the kind of monster to just kill someone?" She still can't get over herself. John muttered.
Hannah threw Jake to the side. "But I promised myself I would never kill anyone again. Not conciously." That's a let down. Seems she's holding on to her last bit of control. John sighed. Hannah closed her eyes, her hands locked in tight fists. "Leave before I change my mind."
"Claire wasn't in my vision." Angel said, glaring at Alex. "And besides, Advent is on our side right now. In my vision, he's the one that gave the order. I'm fine for now. Unless things change."
Hannah tightened her grip on Jake with her good hand while the burn healed, her anger making her oblivious to Edward. "Damn right I did. I'd like nothing more than to kill you right now." John headed towards Hannah, Jake, and Edward. I just have to see this.
"Bigger or smaller," Angel argued. "I don't care. I am not going to lose another member of my family because of me."
Hannah bit back the scream of pain that the sun caused her. She pulled back her hand and sent a swift left hook into Jake's jaw after hitting his gun away. Her eyes burned black as she slammed Jake against the tree, holding him by his throat. "I don't listen to anything from your mouth." She growled. They would be lost without us. John agreed. He caught the change in Hannah's thoughts. Seems things are going ahead of schedule.
Angel ground her teeth together. "They have my sister in there." She said in a low voice. "Blood related or not, she is my sister."
Hannah looked up at Edward. "Remember what I was like last time? As gorgeous as Lestat is, I don't like having to feel that way about him. John is the same way, but he's not as powerful as Lestat. For all I know, Lestat is leagues ahead of Dracula, in more than one way. And I really hate being away from you." She added, stoping near the shade of a tree. Time can change them better than we can. John said.
"I just don't like being around him. Or anyone like him." Hannah grimaced at the sunlight coming through the small windows. She pulled up her hood before they were outside. John exhaled. Yes, well that can't be helped.
Angel balled her fists in her pockets. "Great. I'm going to enjoy this."
"I'm not worried about that." Hannah answered grudgingly. John smirked. I am looking forward to this moon.
"In a way." Angel replied.
