Angel jerked herself behind a pillar, one hand over her mouth to muffle her moan of pain, the other over her necklace to cover it's glow. She hoped that the beasts had not heard her and squeezed her eyes shut. What the hell is going on?! That was my second vision today during the day! She thought, her eyes now open and sweat beading down her forehead. Why is he coming? She shook the image of the brutally killed beasts from her mind and tried to get her breathing under control so that she could start her pursuite again.

Angel kept her breathing quiet, slow, and steady as she very carefully followed the group that had Claire. Her hands were clenched at her sides, plan after plan running through her head, each involving no survivors.

Hannah was thoughtfully quiet for a moment. "But can't make it there in... time..." She slowed at the end, more thoughts occurring to her. "What exactly can you do, Lestat?"

"Shut up!" Claire hissed, her voice shaking. "You're gonna get them angry!"

Angel bolted after Alex, not giving a thought to the lack of water in the castle or the fact that she did not have her daggers; she'd fight with her fists if she had to.

Angel followed quickly, wanting to go faster and be in front, but she was not as sure as where they were headed as the boys were. I'm coming Claire. I swear if they've hurt you in any way, I'll kill them all.

Actually, I just finished watching the movie, and it combined the second and third book in most horrid way. If you love the books, don't watch the movie unless you just want to see the sexiness =^^=

My favorite is "Slept So Long" =^^=

Angel followed Advent. "It would probably be faster if we split up."

Angel muttered a curse under her breath before following Alex.

"Can't you two get along for one second?" Angel sighed impatiently. "Alex, we need to go now. So just leave Advent alone."

Hannah looked up at Lestat, her head tiltled. "Greece? But-" She cut herself off, knowing it was best no matter where the location was. She sighed, "I guess it won't really matter to me when the times comes..."

"Yes, well," Carl rumaged in his bag. "I suppose Hannah and Jinx are best for her now."

Hannah looked back at the book, knowing both Edward and Lestat could hear her heart race. "Right... I guess that would be best. I'll just get what I can out of them now."

"She probably thinks you won't understand." Carl shrugged. "After all, you are a hunter. And she's probably feeling scared, and more in the way, and confused, and lost, and even lonely. You could try to be nicer to her."

Hannah gently flipped through the pages of the first book. "It's so detailed. It's like the author had first hand experience..." She trailed off and looked up at Lestat. "Where did you get these?" She asked, involuntarily blushing when she looked him in the eyes.

Carl sighed. "I think she's got a connection with Lestat now." He explained. "See, I've been reading and there's a strong bond between a... child and their creator-" He started off on a rant off all he'd read.

Hannah smiled, a bit more earnestly than she meant to. "Thanks." She sat back down next to Edward and took out the books.

My vote goes to KH2. I really liked how everything wrapped together and fit like a puzzle. Some things made you think 'why didn't I see that?!' while others made you think 'oh, that makes sense now!' ^.^

Hannah sighed and sat up. She started when she saw Lestat, but that quickly passed and she got up to open the window for him.

Beatrice stood up and stalked out of the room, and down the stairs. She was uncomfortably aware of the stares of the men at the bar, but her discomfort didn't erase her anger or confusion.

"Fine." Angel agreed hotheadedly and then clamped her mouth shut, her cheeks turning pink. He did that on purpose.

"Why?" Hannah asked, not moving. "I don't want to do this right now. I'm tired."

Beatrice was about to answer "I will," but she caught herself and kept quiet. I can't expect him to understand.
