"You really loved her." Hannah breathed. "Is that why you do what you do?" "Oh," Beatrice detached herself from Edward. "Uh, sorry."
"But it makes you sad." Hannah noted. Beatrice hugged Edward. "You know she'll thank you for this."
"Then I say go for it." Garxena smiled.
right... i think we're still on the weekend.
"Are you sure?" Garxena asked. "You looked into it?"
Hannah tried to smile. "You certainly have a lot to talk about." "Wait," Beatrice objected. "Don't you think she would want to talk to him? She's the one who wanted help. Maybe he can help her, Edward."
I think that was earlier. I remember Kairuto went out... to the park, I think. And that's where Dai is... and... ugh...>.<
"I have my own special husband already." Garxena smiled. "You don't have to do this if you're only doing it for me."
Hannah carefully reached up and wiped the tear away. "I'm so sorry, Lestat. I shouldn't have pried." Beatrice looked at Edward and then at Michael. "What did I miss?"
Garxena grinned. "That's great. It's no wonder you've looked so hard for it."
"You... You've been through so much." Hannah sympathized. Beatrice nodded and covered her nose.
Hannah felt her heart ache. "Lestat..." Beatrice stiffened. "Edward," She began carefully. "Did you...?" She tried again. "Um... Jake... did you...?"
Garxena quietly watched Silax, wondering what he could be so intent on finding.
My brain is about to explode... I wish I'd gotten a warning before the thread just closed... I'm going to see if I can remember the finer details.
"So they're still alive?" Hannah asked. Beatrice looked up at Edward, confused. She turned to look at Michael and saw Jake's body. Nausea rolled in her stomach and she quickly turned her head away, shutting her eyes and covering her mouth.
"The queen?" Hannah repeated. "The first vampire?" "What..?" Beatrice moaned. She blinked her eyes open and yelped when she saw a face she did not recognize so close to her own.
Hannah could hear the conflict in Lestat's voice. "You don't have to continue." She said gently.
Hannah wanted to glance behind her, but she couldn't bring herself to move from where she was. "But... who made them?"
"I'm not sure," Hannah started. "I- I supposed there had to be an original... I thought it was Dracula, but then someone must have made him too... I just keep puzzling over how far back vampires go."
"You don't have to," Hannah said quickly. "If it bothers you."
