Hannah's long, black, wavy locks tumbled in her face when she shook her head. "As long as Edward doesn't find out." "Um... okay." Beatrice played with the ends of her hair.
Dai rolled her eyes. "I'm not talking to her." Wizard jumped up and down on the bed, pausing only to flip the page and see if his name was there. "Kyuu!"
"Forget about the kiss for now." Angel muttered. "You're going to go up against eleven of those things?"
Garxena laced her fingers through Silax's, gald she could do so again.
"It's... okay...," Hannah breathed, her head spinning. "What?" Beatrice looked at Michael.
"Yeah... okay." Beatrice agreed slowly. Hannah gasped, the feeling drastically different from John. Her hands tightened on Lestat's shirt.
"I don't know." Garxena confessed. "I haven't really been out and about lately...." Hiro zoomed into the room and immediately squeezed himself between Silax and Garxena. He sighed happily as Garxena patted his pom-pom, glad to be getting attention.
"How convinient." Dai muttered. "You don't have to lie to me. Megumi knows everything that's going on, so I do too." Wizard kyuu-ed with joy when he found his name in the book.
Angel bit her lip in thought. "Alright. You win. You got five minutes and then I'm coming to help."
"Do you think she's okay?" Beatrice asked quietly. "What if something happened? Lestat would come back, right? H-he's let us know if... if she got hurt, right?" Carl moved over to Beatrice. "Yes, of course. I'm sure she's fine. It was probably a tough night for her and now she's resting." Hannah had the tiniest sensation in the back of her head that what she was doing was wrong, but it was like a voice miles away and she was under water. Her heart pounded furiously and she started to get dizzy, but she paid no attention.
"So we don't know when she'll be back..?" Beatrice asked nervously. Hannah's head clouded over, her sense of reason gone. She clung to Lestat, her dark, red-rimmed eyes searching his.
"Edward..." Beatrice began carefully. "Did... she say when she was going to be back?" Hannah nodded, still breathless. "I'd forgotten... how much that... appealed to me."
"He's not just a hunter," Beatrice said firmly. "He's a friend too." Hannah let go of Lestat, pulling her fangs out of him, and gasping for breath. She opened her eyes, now ringed with red, and looked at Lestat.
"Oh my," Carl muttered. "He certainly has his own way of doing things." Beatrice commented. Hannah's draws became harder, longer, as she lost herself to her wants.
Beatrice sat down on the bed. "I guess so." "Here it is." Carl came back in the room with Edward's shirt. "Mind if I ask where you got it?" He handed the shirt to Edward. Hannah groaned at Lestat's tightened grip, but didn't move. She held on tighter to Lestat's wrist, the sensation of blood pushing her to her limit.
"Ah yes," Carl answered before Beatrice could. "I'll go get it." He scurried out of the room. Beatrice rolled her eyes. "He's jittery. I wonder if it has to do with what he found out yesterday." Hannah sunk her fangs through Lestat's skin, her eyes closing the moment his blood touched her mouth. She felt a pleasent shiver run down her spine as the sweet, rich taste flowed down her throat.
"I don't like not knowing what will happen." Hannah spoke quietly. She met Lestat's eyes with her own burning gold. "I trust you." "Come on." Beatrice pulled Carl back into Edward's room. "Now I really don't think-" Carl stopped and stared at Michael. "I- is that h-him?" Beatrice nodded and smiled. "We think he can help Hannah. If Lestat hasn't."
Hannah reached up and took Lestat's hand. "I... want to. But I told you, I don't trust myself." Beatrice knocked on Carl's door. "Hey, Carl? You awake?" Carl jerked up from the bed. "Has something happened?" He asked when he opened the door. "Yes," Beatrice responded. "But it's not bad. Or at least, I don't think so." "Oh, well, what is it?" Carl adjusted his robes. "Edward and I came across a lycan." Beatrice said simply. "You what?" Carl squeaked.
"I- I don't know." Hannah replied, still rigid. "I... Edward might get upset."
Hannah stiffened. "What do you mean, Lestat?" "Okay," Beatrice looked back and forth between the two, and then left, feeling she really was missing something.
