Beatrice shut her eyes, her muscles rigid. She was aware of the quiet activity in the house, and her first instinct was to run, but she stayed still as Lestat had told her to.
"I'm sorry," Hannah murmured. "They're killers," Anna responded harshly. "If not now by your claim, they will be."
"Are you okay?" Hannah asked quietly. Anna glared at Van Helsing, her arms folded over her chest. "What do you know about me?"
"Are you sure?" Hannah asked, squeezing her eyes shut. "Listen to me," Anna began coldly. "If I find out that they have killed someone and you've lied to me, I'm not going to hesitate to put them down."
Hannah bit her lip and shook her head. "It's almost the exact opposite..." Anna turned to face Van Helsing. "Neither of the two," She answered curtly. "It's your comany that upsets me."
OOC: look who's got her own user now! :D BIC: Hannah smiled. "And I'll wait for it." Anna walked down the hall to the weapons room, trailing her fingers along the edges of the tables.
Hannah nodded in agreement. "He is helpful though." Beatrice fought with herself for a moment, confused and hungry. Okay, She finally consented. OOC: plan C went out the window for Bee >.< now I have to think off the top of mah head...
Angel gripped her arm tighter. "When did you figure out that I'm blind in my right eye?" She blurted.
"Close enough for me to be upset if you were to die," Angel answered.
"I'm doing what I can for her," Hannah laid on her side. "But I don't think it's enough... I can't really do anything to make this easier for her. What's worse... if Lestat hadn't done it... I would have eventually...."" Why is he looking at me like that? Beatrice looked away from the man, but she couldn't block out the sound of his heart that pounded in her ears.
Angel was taken aback by the suddeness of Advent's question. "Um... I don't know... I've only dealt with a close death once, and I was very young at time...; all I really know how to do is grieve..."
"We disagree on a lot of things," Hannah mumbled. "And I'm not the best person for Beatrice to talk to. In technical terms, I'm only three months older than her." Beatrice stiffened and nodded. Yeah... he was.
I cried buckets for Axel! I did cry for Demmy, but not as much as I did for Axel.
Actually, I do. It's more numb than pain, though. I spent lunch crying in a bathroom stall the other day. After that, I've just kind of given up on feeling anything...
Anna turned to Carl. "What about you?" "I am too," Hannah said, going into the room. "I know it's... hard. And I know Michael can restrain her, but I think she needs more than that... Someone to talk to." Beatrice sat, glancing once over her shoulder and then looking back at Lestat.
"Don't you already know?" Angel put her hands on her hip. "I think it's weird, a little crazy, and deffinately dangerous." She paused, searching Advent's eyes. "Is it because of my eye that you're so insistant on 'protecting' me? Because if it is, you don't have to. I've grown up with it and I'm fine. I just have to work on reacting to attacks in time."
OOC: you're so smart! :glomp: BIC: Hannah looked back at Edward. "Still outside," She answered. "This is hard for Bee." Anna was quiet for a moment after Jinx's request. "I only ask that you don't go in the weapons room or my brother's room; it has his name on the door." But- Beatrice started to object, but shook it off, knowing Lestat would already have a way around her worries. She slowly went over to Lestat, painfully aware of the following stare of one man.
Garxena tried to smile. "I'll help; it's something to do."
"All of the guest bedrooms are in the same hall as the bar," Anna told Edward and Hannah. "You're welcome to chose any of them. And you," She looked at Van Helsing. "I'd love to show you my idea of fun some other time." "Thank you," Hannah smiled at Anna, trying not to pay attention to Anna's small cringe. Jeez, it's not like I'm going to eat her. OOC: horray for Beatrice's non-existent post! XD
"The bar is down the hall; help yourself," Anna answered, a smile playing on her lips. "You know I do," Hannah smiled. Beatrice tried her best to look at natrual as she could while watching Lestat, but stares from some of the men made it exceedingly difficult.
