"That's a title you'll have to earn over time," Angel responded.
Beatrice tuned out Van Helsing and picked up her pace, just wanting to be with Sorin.
aw crap now I lost the game! Dx
Hannah remained still. "Alright. I... I don't mind." She's scared out of her mind. Michael looked between Hannah and Beatrice. They both are. Not able to stand the tension, Beatrice burst out of Anna's castle without a word to the others. She wrapped her arms around herself and walked, head down, towards the horses.
"You only hit five out of the ten," Rukia started. "Focus more on the feel of your target, not the memorized sight."
Angel smiled and took Advent's hand. "Dinner does sound good."
"What happened?" Eva asked quickly as soon as Neo was with her.
Hannah stood stone still against Edward. "Let me go." Beatrice spoke up, "Hannah, I don't think-" "Let me go." Hannah repeated slowly and firmly.
Sorry, I'm busy with my sister ^^ I'm on for a short while right now though
"The last date I was on was a dinner date to talk about my ability." Angel said, a slightly pouty tone in her voice. "I don't have a lot of experience, I told you."
Rukia watched the kunai reach most of their targets. Better than I thought. I won't push her too hard. OOC: the recap was worthy of being called epic =D
Rukia was about to give Kammi a tip, but decided not to. She stepped back just in case. "Go when you're ready." OOC: night-night! XD See you tomorrow. ^^
Michael put his hands back on Hannah's shoulders and moved his thumbs in slow circles between her shoulderblades. "Just relax." The tension and anger slowly ebbed away, leaving Hannah with just sadness. "I'm fine." She said at last. "Are you sure?" Beatrice asked worriedly. Hannah nodded, though she found it hard to breathe and she couldn't ignore the warm tears on her cheeks. Using the back of her hand, she wiped her cheek. Blood? She thought when she saw the red on her hand. "Hannah?" Michael moved in front of her. "Hannah, you look like you're about to faint." Seeing her gaze, he pulled his sleeve over his wrist and wiped the blood off her hand and other cheek. "There; it's gone."
Rukia pointed to the tattered targets around the clearing. "Hit all ten with only ten kunai, upsidedown, and in midair with your eyes closed. We'll see where we go from there."
Beatrice hurried after Edward. Hannah trembled under Michael's hands. Michael placed two fingers under Hannah's chin and lifted her face to look at him. He was surprised to see that she was crying, and her tears were bright red and thick. "Hannah?" Hannah jerked away from Michael to face Van Helsing. "Don't talk about us like you understand us!"
"Okay," Beatrice agreed after a moment. Michael pulled Hannah away from Van Helsing, seeing how ready she was to do whatever harm she could. "Calm down," He told her firmly but sweetly. A low growl passed through Hannah's clenched teeth. She let Michael hold her and closed her eyes, trying to calm down.
"Trust is earned, not given." Rukia said solemly.
"That's exactly the problem." Rukia stated simply.
"I've never had any siblings...," Beatrice murmured, lowering her eyes. "But maybe this is what it feels like to have an older brother." She looked back up at Edward, smiling sadly. "I'll try my best to stay out of trouble for you." "I'd like to see how you handle being a monster!" Hannah snapped at Van Helsing. "What would you do if you became one of us?" Michael tightened his grip on Hannah.
Hannah ground her teeth. "He knows what he's doing. And besides, I'd gladly risk this life to have the chance of being free of John." Michael put his hand on Hannah's shoulder. "We understand. Stay calm."
