Kuno allowed himself to relax when he felt that Krad had backed off. Hmm... He thought to himself. So Dark came out during the day? That is pretty strange.

Garxena glared at Reon. A swift movement of her hand caused the twilight energy to move upwards and separate to form small daggers. Extending her fingers made the daggers hurl at Reon as if fired from a bow. It was worth a try.

"Well done, Claire," Thomas released the girl. "You're a very good actress."

Claire lowered her head, her tears making soft plinks on the floorboards.

    "Get it."

Angel's eyes fluttered open at the growled command. Her bright green eyes dizzly searched the room. She sat up, and was taken by suprise when someone grabbed her right arm. She was yanked off the bed. Whomever was holding her certainly didn't feel human. When she turned her head to get sight of her captor, her mind reeled. It was a dark form, one of the beasts again. Her eyes flickered to the window; it was still snowing. She swore and pulled away from the beast, stumbling into another one that was behind it. It held her arms behind her back. When Angel got a better look around, she saw that she was outnumbered three to one. The first beast approached her.

"Cooperate and you won't be harmed."

Angel used the beast holding her as support to kick out both her feet at the beast in front of her. She sent it into the wall.
"I'm not very good at cooperating," She sneered. The third beast came to take the first's place. Angel cringed when its paw-like hand extended. As the beast came closer, Angel fought against the hold that the second had on her. The third placed its paw-like hand on the back of Angel's head and pressed, making her scream from the pain. It removed its hand and held it up for Angel to see.

"How does she function with that loss of blood?"

"I don't know. Let's see how much blood she can lose!"

Angel felt something warm and sharp press against her right side, underneather her ribs. No! Dammit! This is nearly what I saw! I won't die here!! She jerked away from the claws of the second beast, hearing the first get back to its feet.

Thomas chuckled. "I should keep you alive; you amuse me." The dark tendril around Claire's mouth moved away. "Anything else you'd like to warn him of?"

"Please," Claire started softly, raising her eyes to look at Advent. "Please, just... keep my sister safe!"

"Now, now, little Claire; I wouldn't dream of hurting your sister. But my beasts would." Thomas placed two fingers under Claire's chin, forcing her to look at him. "You should hope she's not alone right now. As far as I know, my beasts weren't able to get her necklace the last time I sent them, but it should be much easier to make sure she still has it now that her 'protector' is gone. And if she does have it, she won't very soon."

Claire looked back at Advent out of the corner of her eye. "Is she really alone...?"

Garxena extended her hand. Twilight energy came from the ground and sped after Reon. She twisted her hand in the air and the twilight energy wrapped around Reon's ankles. A small sigh of relief escaped Garxena's lips when she was able to stop Reon just before he got to Silax.
"Stay away from him," She growled, the twilight inching its way up Reon's legs.

"But I can handle it!" Garxena objected to Silax. "Yeifou needs your help more than I do."

"Just Angel, and that wonderful little necklace of her's," Thomas answered. The dark tendrils lifted Claire to her feet and brought her close to him. "There might be something else too," He added, running the back of his hand across Claire's cheek while smirking at Advent. "You'll just have to find out."

Thomas winced, but only tightened his grip. "You're not very good at negotiating."

I want my sister. Claire thought, starting to have trouble breathing. Thomas is... different. He's a monster. I saw it, and I'm scared. I want my sister!

Claire could see what was about to happen and tried to warn Advent. "Careful, he's-"

"You like spilling secrets, don't you?" Black tendrils came from Thomas' sleeve and wrapped around Claire's mouth and neck. "I'd be careful if I were you." He adressed Advent now. "Her neck just might break..."

Claire's cry was muffled by the tendril around her mouth as the one around her neck tightened.

Garxena raised her Oblivionblade, returning Reon's gaze. "Not exactly who I wanted to fight," She murmured. "But I can work with it."

Claire looked up at Advent, her eyes brimming with scared tears.

Thomas turned his black eyes on Advent. "So you're the one that Angel fancies now, are you?"

Thomas dropped Claire and turned towards the door. "Well, well. It seems that I didn't get what I asked for." He sighed and shook his head, looking back at Claire. "You're in trouble, little Claire."

Claire moved away from Thomas, still on the floor.

Kuno sat in the back of his class, barely listening to what the teacher was saying. He needed something more entertainting to do. Just as the thought crossed his mind, a painful sear raced through his body. It's Dark. Kuno shook his head and paid more attention to what the instructor was saying, using it as a distraction. Shut up. Stay back. He warned Krad.

OOC: with that --> "Damn it...It's hero time."

BIC: "L-let... go," Claire tried to pry Thomas' hands away, but it was to no avail.

"You're going to have to be a good little hostage if you don't want your sister to get hurt. Then again," Thomas chuckled darkly. "She'll have to do what I say too."

"You're a monster," Claire managed to say in one breath.

That made Thomas outright laugh. "Yes, yes I am."

I watched it in my Western Civ class and WOW! What the crap was that religious rant for?? Isn't there supposed to be separation of church and state? Anyway, I did like the song that was played (by James William, right?). But I didn't like the expression on Obama's face most of the time. He looked like he'd rather be anywhere but where he was. Also, he did stumble over his words a bit. But I guess that's just because he was really nervous. Heck, I'd be too if I was standing in front of the entire US about to give a speech and become leader of the nation. O.o

"Yeah," Garxena glared at Telren, memories of her time away coming back as fuel for her fire. "That was me!" She charged forward, Oblivionblade ready to strike. Her quick decisions put off the complication of taking on Telren and Ina at the same time. She wasn't worried about that right now. Telren had caused pain to everyone that she loved, and now was her chance to get back at him for it. She had the opening, and she was taking it.
