now how the hell am i gonna save your ass Fae woke up a while later, still a little hungry but not wanting to eat. She decided to go a little exploring, and ran out of the house. After about 20 minutes of running, she discovered herself near a lake. After walking around for a bit, she saw a girl looking sadly in the lake, saying things like she was a mistake. Angry that another person was going to take her life, she wouldn't allow it. The lake began to freeze over.

(i think_) Today was the day she had waited for ever for. Not because of the presents, but because she was of age. She skipped down the stairs and saw her mother beeming in pride. She smiled and hugged Setsuko and said a big "Congratulations". Today wasn't a regular birthday.In her family, the Fellous, the 17th birthday was the biggest birthday of their life time. It marked the time when they were considered mature enough to slay vampires. Everyone in her bloodline was a Fellous. To keep the bloodline pure, (and to stay within laws), they married their second or third cousin. They all had similar beliefs and dreams so there wasn't much of a problem. Setsuko smiled happily at her mother and then turned to her father, who had just entered the room. Her father was a great hunter, one of the greatest of all time. He killed the most vampires out of the bloodline. He would of been considered the best... if his great grandfather's grandfather hadn't of slayed two of the leaders. He beemed of happiness as he hugged his daughter, cheering along with all the rest. Soon it got serious, "It's time to get your presents", he smiled wikidly. Fae walked through the streets, but managed to find an abandoned house. The house hadn't of seemed to be lived in for a while, so she decided to declare it hers. EVerything was working beautifully, the stove, the lights... it was amazing how nothing was cut off. She found some un-expired food and cooked it well, but when she ate it, it didn't taste as good as she imagined. Sighing she continued to eat it and went to bed shortly later. ".... Now you better not lose this Setsuko", her father finished after giving her the "present". It was a beautifully carved crossbow, with shining silver arrows. She continued to gape at it as she had for the last few minutes. The crossbow was the family's favourite weopen and has been since the legendary, "Leader Slayer"''s father had possesed it. After her father had explained how it worked, they said their goodbyes as Sestsuko couldn't seem to wait to get out side, but as she got out the door her father shouted a message about coming home for new arrows if she ran out. She smiled and ran off, but not before gazing at the tree which has provided the arrows for many life times. She began her journey a little north from her house, but it wasn't long until she sensed a vampire. Her very first hour and she gets her very first vampire, she'll be a legend like her father. She ran to an old house and knocked down the door. She looked around but noticed the scent was coming upstairs. She climbed the stairs until she reached the attic and went through. Walking through the darkness, a light shined through the window. What the light hit couldn't hold Setsuko together, she burst out laughing.
