Karen Gillan was in a previous episode as a minor role, still played a smashing Amy Pond.
I know I have my doubts, but honestly I've learned to ignore them till I see the character fully blossom in the first episode. When Tennant came on I was upset, but I grew to love him. When Smith came on I was upset, but I grew to love him. Doctor Who has always delivered and I'm not going to point out things that aren't appealing to me right now from stoping me. I'm just feeling bad for all of those people who totally dived to the deep end on hating Capaldi, saying they'll never watch Doctor Who again, and then to see them come back with their tails between their legs and enjoy everything about him.
He's a pretty good actor srsly. I wonder if they're gonna make him look just a bit younger, with hair dye etc. Idk any way.
