Chrono had been doing a good job at both avoiding the smaller heartless attacking him and dealing with them while avoid the ever encroaching attacks from the Darkside. It had gone in for another strike aimed for him and naturally he dodged it. The hand from that attack slowly started its ascent, something that didn't stop Daeni from climbing up it to get some hits in. The tactic itself was all fine and dandy, but the issue of getting back down remained. Moments later Daeni came crashing down to the ground, groaning at her landing. Both of the Darkside's limbs were out of reach and couldn't be attacked, however this time he's legs weren't left surrounded by various smaller heartless, making them very easy targets for Chrono. Tightening his grip on his keyblade, Chrono dashed forth and gave two powerful strikes at the appendages before backing away.
It seemed that so long as none of them attacked Tango, he wouldn't attack them. That didn't change how Vallus didn't trust him and remained on guard should something happened. In the time that he waited for that possibility, he listened to the conversation that was being made. Man without a heart? Why would someone like that be of any use to anyone? As the answer wasn't something that he could figure out right off the bat, he'd hope it would be something that Tango said while Koa continued to question him.
About partway towards the ruins Chrono hadn't heard or seen anything that was either suspicious or could be related to the outsiders in some way and he was making sure to keep an eye out for those kind of things. Yet nothing was really sticking out to him until he got closer to the ruins and heard the shouting up ahead. This hastened the pace that Chrono was moving in as he spotted the duo that was being attacked. He recognized the princess despite the brief look he got at her when she walked past them and the other guy was an unknown. Perhaps he was the outside that the king had brought up? If he was, then Chrono couldn't help but to feel a bit disappointed. He was expecting someone much more shady and sinister looking. Shame, but not the priority right now. That was the heartless that were currently attacking the duo. His keyblade materialized in his hand and Chrono went to deal with the shadows first. HP: 25 AP: 0 Heartless Defeated: 5 Shadows
It was easy to tune out the unimportant statements out of everything he was hearing as it was something that Zephyr had gotten used to doing. Helping this was the lack of attention he was getting as he skirted across the edge of the plaza eavesdropping attempts. Then came the mentioning of something that did catch his attention, from a royal guard no less. An escape tunnel. Probably used by whoever cast the magic. Now where is it?
The resounding cheers that resonated around them after their victory lead to a nice feeling of accomplishment. He revel in it all for a few moments, then proceeded to check on his partner to see how she was doing. "You feeling better now that this is over?" Just has Kel had said that, Tron had spoken up about Sark doing not honorable. That was when he noticed that vessel in the sky slowly flying off. Figures that he'd try something to avoid losing all this power. Kel returned to his light cycle and headed off in the direction that Sark was heading off in.
The sounds of another light cycle approaching him brought about another wave of concern that washed over him. Given that there was already two members of Team SARK chasing after him, his first assumption was that a third member had gone after him as well. If that was the case, Kel wasn't sure if that meant that yet another one had chosen to go after him or they changed target to him after derezzing one of their teammates. At that thought Kel hoped that it was the former that had occurred and not the latter. The issue of there being three light cycles heading his way didn't change though. Fortunately it turned out to be Aislinn who had caught up to him and not another Team SARK member. With the two of them this situation that he found himself in became a lot easier to manage. "Right." Kel nodded before waiting for her signal. When her countdown had ended the two partners had gone their separate ways, Kel left and Aislinn right. The latter had managed to catch Xara off guard, resulting in her crashing right into the trail in front of her. One down, one more to go and Noroz hadn't fallen for such a trick. The data copy was still hot on his trail despite the sudden turn which bugged Kel just a bit. Both the persistence that he had and the lack of what he actually remembered about Noroz. He'd only known him through all of Deep Jungle, after that he vanished after going to some other world while he was in Nottingham, which also had a fair share of people appear and not leave by the time Kel himself had actually gotten out. Thinking about that now it was actually pretty depressing given the amount of times that it had happened. Not much recently, which was good. The loud sound of an engine brought Kel back to the match at hand. Still needed to deal with Noroz as he gained on him once again. Since memories of how he fought to find an weakness was out, especially since he mainly Noroz being fast this explaining how he was able to keep up with him. The easy way out of this was to use this to his advantage. Up ahead there looked to be an obstacle up ahead of them, a large wall to be exact. Looming over them as they sped closer and closer to it. This gave Kel an idea, a risky one, but one that could work nonetheless. Being a fair ways away from the wall, he sped up wth the hopes that his opponent would do the same. His hopes were right as Noroz did speed up in an effort to over take him. This prompted a back and forth between the two to gain speed and while Noroz was doing so to overtake Kel, Kel was doing so as part of his plan which was still working perfectly. The wall was getting closer and closer with both racers having a very impromptu drag race with the wall being the finish line. Noroz had started to take the lead between the two however it wasn't enough for him to make a sharp turn and instantly cut Kel off. The seconds that they were away from the wall might as well have been minutes and those minutes into hours. Both the encroaching wall and Noroz's light cycle that continued to slowly get further and further ahead of Kel. Things started to look grim when suddenly made a sharp turn left, away from both the wall and Noroz. The latter stayed true to their drag race and kept driving straight and as well all know. Dragsters can't turn. The data copy crashed head first into the wall at, causing both itself and the rider to digitize. Part of him felt bad for this, but it was still a data copy and not the real thing. What he needed to do now was regroup with the others to see how they were doing. Everyone had seemingly picked their own opponent for them face off against. He supposed that he could go up against Noroz, he didn't fully remember how he fought, but only so much of that could transfer to riding a light cycle. The opposing foe had a similar idea for he had pulled up right next to Kel as he raced down the track. The two competitors simply raced against one anther in a attempt to gain more speed so that they could pull ahead. Drafting would be an easier way of going about that, but those light trails behind their light cycles meant certain death of if they were to fall behind by the slightest second. Probably because of either he had more experience with this being a copy made for this kind of thing or just the general lack of skill that Kel still had in this whole thing. Either way Noroz was slowly starting to pull ahead. Fortunately not enough for it to be a concern about the light trail behind them. Kel attempted to speed up his own light cycle, but that only amounted to delayed the rate that Noroz pulled ahead of him. The light trail was being more and more of an issue and that wouldn't be the only thing that Kel would have to worry about. Right across from him and heading in his direction at a high speed was another member of Team SARK, Xara to be exact. The two data copies had apparently chosen to team up against him for this run. That was both unfair and typical that his luck would end with him having deal with something like that. He he kept going straight then there would either be a head on collision or Xara would cut away at the last second, leaving him to crash into the light trail she left behind. Neither options sounded good to him as they both resulted in his demise. Time was running out before the impromptu game of chicken came to end and really there was only thing that that Kel could do that would result in the best course action as well as not leading to his end. Right as it looked looked like the two competitors were going to crash, Kel took a sharp right turn and rode off in that direction. His assumption was correct with Xara turning for the little data copy practically turned at the same time he did. That just left Noroz. Hopefully he was derezzed in the sharp turn that Xara and himself had done. Kel glanced backwards and saw that that wasn't the case at all. Noroz had continued to ride straight right until the light trail form Xara's light cycle had faded and made a right turn of his own. Both of the copies were still hot on his trail and gaining speed quickly. The situation that he was currently in still wasn't looking any better for him. "Come on, can't you give a guy a break!" In response to his pleas, Xara angrily shook his fist at him whereas Noroz silently sped up. Figures as much. If they were this determined to to catch him, he would have to try and use that to his advantage. With one being on each side of him, trying to cause them to take out each other would require a whole lot of turns and such that A) He didn't think he had the time for and B) could end with him crashing if he did it wrong. Another glance behind him was made and showed that Noroz was the closer one to him. Deciding that it would be best to deal with him first, Kel took a sharp left turn in an attempt to cut off his path. Post: 7/10 Words: 632 EXP Writer: 60 Total EXP: 71 Blessed Thief Total: 60
Chrono's assault continued by taking care of two of smaller heartless that had approached him. They would be here forever if they stayed here trying to defeat each and every single heartless that was here before making a break for the house. In that regard Chrono did agree with what Cerdic had said. That was the only thing that he did agree with however. Personally given how large and slow that the Darkside was, he figured that they would be able to easily get past it after cutting a path to the house. When he went on and attacked it by himself, there was little more that he could do other than to follow behind him when the other fist had made contact with the ground. Chrono struck at it as many times as he could behind it was raised up, at which point he backed away and kept an eye on both the Darkside and any stray heartless that might try to sneak up on him.
Vice and Lazuli attacked after being burned by the fire witch. The one downside about have close range weapons was the fact that it was hard to get close to your opponent because of the wall of fire that both protected and harm them. That was when the two remembered that both their weapons had gun forms and thus they switched to them and unleashed a storm of bullets and grenades.

Zephyr certainly didn't have any traits that would be the most helpful in information gather, the first thing that he figured he could do was to eavesdrop. Not the most of helpful abilities for this situation, but it would have to do. "I'll find a way to manage" Was what he said to Dylan before heading off. If he actually was going to go through with his plan of eavesdropping then first thing that he should do is to find a place where he can do so without looking suspicious.

It was uncomfortable being made to stand against his former allies. Each one of which he had fond memories of for the most part. At the very least the few times that he did interact with them were good as opposed to being something that he didn't want to recall. This was something that he had to do though, this was a life or death situation for them. Hikaru's words did provide some relief to him. Copies were just copies and cared not for them. The announcer suddenly spoke, signaling the start of their race to begin. At the end of the countdown, Kel materialized his light cycle and set off. 3/10 Blessed Thief: 30 Munny Words: 111 EXP: 11
