For those who demanded a build log/pics of the computer I built yesterday: http://kh-vids.net/threads/pc-show-and-tell.147667/#post-4210923
Alright so I finally managed to finish my computer, sadly I only really took pictures during the first half of the build as my father came home and I couldn't exactly take my time because he was tired from work. This resulted in some "poor" cable management that I will fix later when my other four fans arrive (which you obviously won't see in the pictures). My build: Intel Core i7-4790k 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU cooler Asus Z97-PRO (Wi-Fi ac) ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory [Two] Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drives (Raid 1) [Four] Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (Raid 10) EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN BLACK Superclocked Signature Corsair 600T Mesh (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case Corsair 860W+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer [Four] Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fans Pictures: Spoiler To the haters: This build isn't something I would recommend someone who is tight on cash to build, hell even if you do have the money this is probably paying a bit more for smaller gains. The reason I went with this specific build (I'm looking at you Titan Black and 32GB of RAM) is I thought to myself for a very long time growing up as I was fascinated by computers "I hope some day I can build 'x'". That is why I went with this. Also in the past I have done a lot of audio/video work anywhere from just recording and editing music that I've played to editing multiple videos at the same time. I WILL make a use for the parts that I have selected to buy for this build. Most people who are just looking for a gaming rig, STAY AWAY FROM THIS. You will waste your money. Also why I didn't go with water cooling. Tbh, I just wanted to go with a solid air cooling build and I realllly wanted to try out the new NH-D15 and so far it is an amazing cooler. It was however a pain to install. This is also why I went with the 600T. It has so much mesh for air to go through that it was the perfect match. All around price for this build including tax (because I know people will look it up anyways): $3,200~. If anyone has any questions feel free to hit me up :D
ALRIGHT SOOOOOO my mom is letting me use her fancy camera to take pictures of my computer build so now you guys can see my shit-tastic cable management in HD. pls don't kill me dad
Do it do it do et d0 3t

It was a lot of fun being on this podcast, many thanks to the people who voted and the hosts for inviting me on there <3
Well the parts come in tomorrow (with the exception of like four extra case fans because meh) so I will be sure to post pictures with a build log into that thread once I am done with it :D
Yeah mang I'm hot a f
NOOOOOOOOOO
Not to sound like a negative/dark person but the only reason I can afford something like this is because of my accident and it is by no means worth it at all, I hate what has happened over the course of the last two years. That being said, if there was some way for me to reach out to others and help make these "dream builds" possible I would do it in a heartbeat. Idk, maybe some day in the future who knows. If you want to build a computer and you aren't at a financial spot where your current build is "enough" then I would save until you get there. We as young adults have a ton of time, and settling for something that isn't as nice just so you can get it "now" is a mistake I know far too well. That is one reason my build is so outrageous, that and the money from the crash doesn't hurt. Don't even get me started on cable management. I wish I could just rip out the excitement from my mind when I build a computer because that makes me rush a tad bit, therefore making the cable management not as clean as I would like it. I am going to try my best with this build especially if you guys want pics Also a computer build / picture thread wouldn't be a terrible idea. I'd like it.
Stop being so mean to me dad I only wanted to play catch with you after you got home from work.
He isn't about the system, it's bringing us down mannnn

If people prefer games at a certain FPS, they aren't wrong because you know opinions exist. That is the plan for the most part, I like my options being opened for the future. Don't get me wrong, the Titan Black is just mental and is probably better than what most "hardcore" PC gamers have/could afford so I am very thankful. It is just nice to have that option down the line. tl;dr single card now so if I want to go SLI in the future I can just snag another Titan Black
HOLY BALLS IM GETTING ON THAT SHIZZ SO HARD
But now he knows the true ending....
Dude wtf why would you tell him that???? Fk this site.
