2 HP Boosts and Learning Vicinity Break
The counter attack from the heartless certainly was cold, but beyond that it was nothing when compared to some of the other hits he's taken from heartless. When their attacks had cease, Chrono leapt into action, quite literally, with another blitz attack that had him getting the drop on a small group of five icy cubes. They didn't last long after his keyblade had cleaved through them. The other heartless had gotten agitated and swarmed to attack Chrono. Their attacks took some time to prepared and it was during that in time which Chrono struck them down. One by one each heartless fell until there were none left standing. To say that he was surprised that Daeni didn't know whose memories that she had, only to later reveal that they were Marley's, didn't surprise Chrono too much. As much as he wanted to hear that perhaps some of the memories that she had were his, there was no surprise to hear that that wasn't the case. Only disappointment. Chrono had turned away at the suggestion of heading back to the cave and took a whole step forward before stopping abruptly. "Its...Chrono." He said to Alder having heard the username hint. And not Chrono as in myself. No, the Chrono in this case was someone much better as well as stronger than himself. Both a hero in his actions and a scholar in knowledge, everyone looked up to him and often times sought him out for problems that they couldn't solve themselves. Especially himself. He greatly looked up to this Chrono and wanted to be like him. Thus why it was possible the greatest moment of his life when he agreed to take him under his wing. At the time it was great, but now it was just another haunting reminder of his mistake back on his homeworld. With a solemn sigh, he turned to Daeni. "Call me whichever you like." Personally he'd rather not be called Aevum until he recalled everything and Chrono was slowly losing its appeal as a name.
Chrono was enjoying the fresh air that was getting to his lungs now that he was out of the burning building and had no reason to re enter it. He had taken to a crouched position as his coughing died down. Upon feeling better, he found that they were greeted by a massive swarm of heartless. Of all times that they could've shown up, they chose now. Chrono rose to his feet as a group of smaller heartless ran towards him. "Thundara!" Not missing a beat, his keyblade was called to his sided, aimed directly at them as the stream of lightning wiped them all out. In his current state he wouldn't be able to take that many hits from the heartless which lead to him casting cure on himself and attacking the last two minutes bombs that had gone to attack him. The small cubes were next on his attack list as he preemptively attack them with blitz. That thine the heard of heartless that happened to be immediately around him and scanning the area, Chrono found a small group of four of yellow floating heartless that he could deal with. He felt comfortable running into that group given that their numbers were already small. All it took was a couple of keyblade strikes and he was able to be rid of them all. The flames that were consuming the building raged on, but with there still being people trapped inside Chrono dashed back into the building. The smoke had increased in density and he had used his shirt to cover his nose as he searched around the ninth floor for the people who remained. Minutes and a few parts of the building falling later and Chrono had found the last people on the floor. "This way, come on." Motioning them to follow him, the last two civilians soon found themselves escorted out of the burning building. "That covers the ninth floor." Chrono said, coughing a bit. Floor 9 Clear
"A little bit." Chrono said honestly, though he understood Take's point. The answers that he was given from Master Gero were as cryptic as the all knowing feeling that they gave off. Just listening bugged him, but not as much as some of what Take had said. The chance to say something on that had passed as Gero walked past them. The new ability that they were given was something that he wanted to try out soon, not to mentioned that the world that they had ended up in had reminded him of his own home. Not accounting for the building that was set ablaze behind them. At no point did Chrono ever think he'd be taking the role of a firefighter, but that could be said about a lot of things. He hurried his way up to the 9th floor, avoiding the flames as best as he could. Chrono had stopped moving having heard the voices of others trapped on the floor he was on. Peering through the smoke, he spotted three people only slightly older than himself. Moving as quickly as he could, he managed to get to the group of people and started ushering them out of the building. Chrono went to Floor 9 7/13 People Remain on Floor 9
Hikaru had pretty much said what he was going to say to AJ. As much as it sucked, as far as Glen and the other were, there didn't seem to be much that they could do. Perhaps in the future, but not quite right now. The chill in his hand had ceased and Kel walked away from the aura that still remained and looked around at the other who were still here. A fair bit of them had gone through outfit changes themselves. What stuck out to him the most was how Luna was now wearing a crown on her head. He walked up to the duo that was Luna and Straos, saying "that's, um, quite the crown you have." upon arriving. Being his first time asking Luna, as well as anyone, about being royalty he had no idea where to start. Fortunately the crown she wore was nothing like what he'd imagine it to be, thus granting him something to say.
She had very much set her mind to leaving, that much was clear and convincing people was not a strong point of his. Just as he was going to speak before Auburn could fully leave, Qrow had approached them. First off, where did he come from and why the sudden emergency meeting? Glancing in Auburn's direction gave a general idea as to a reason behind that. "If you say so." He said nonchalantly as he made his way up the stairs. It had taken a bit for him to find exactly where Blaine's room was. Soon after finding it, he gave the door a quick knock. "We got a meeting to go to leader." Now he could just leave it at that and head down to where the meeting was taking place, but he figured it'd be best to make sure that he actually opened the door. While everyone had been preparing to head out once more, Vice had well, done the opposite. Ever since they had gotten back Vice had found himself a place to sit that was decently away from the others, placed his weapon down and just sat there waiting. All this time that they were using to get ready was time that could've been used to find the temples that they were looking for. His attention towards Lloyd, the supposed leader of their little group, and he made a small gesture towards his weapon that rested near him. "As you can see I've done all the preparations that I need."
Once again Zephyr had shrugged in response to Gavin asking him for his thoughts. Really he was more concerned with the information that he had obtained for Selena and heading back to the inn would both give them a place to talk while appeasing to Thea's desire to see a kitten. "We can question the farmer tomorrow. Beside we've done enough questioning for today." The 9pm curfew was a good thing to make a note of. Gave him a reason to be on the look out for anyone else roaming about after that time.
Having being given the same answer from two different people, Kel merely opted to take their words for it. It wasn't too long after that in which he heard Stratos mention an outfit change. Looking at his own outfit, he saw nothing wrong with a change in attire. Kel looked towards the red timer that was ticking down, noting how much time that they had, then set off on his mini quest. A quick look around and Kel spotted an outfit that stuck out to him. It looked to be about his size and setting foot into the shop he'd found it in to try on the outfit. It actually did fit him which was convenient to say the least. Now having donned on his new attire, Kel had returned to where the portal to Destiny Island was as well as the Aura's that were up for grabs. He looked at each one carefully for about the same amount of time. When his eyes came across the Ice aura, that one was given more attention than the others. It could've been his eyes playing tricks on him, but he could've sworn that it seemed to pulse the longer he stared at it. This lead to him reaching his hand out towards it. No sooner than he did the aura reacted by sending a literal chill throughout his body. It was an odd feeling for the chill was short before his body seemed to adjust to it. The one exception being his hand in which the aura had passed through. "Good, that's another step forward."
Chrono had glanced over in Daeni's direction upon seeing the papers she held in hand. They had found whatever it was that they were looking for, but there was something more important that held Chrono's attention. "Other memories? As in everyone's?" If that were the case then did she know who's memories that she actually had? There was some wishful thinking in there, but Chrono was hoping that the answer would be a positive thing.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Chrono said, chuckling a bit nervously after Take had gone off to find anyone else to join them in the run. While he was decently in shape, least he thought he was, running up a mountain was on a completely different scale then what he was used to doing back home. He would often climb things when he found the time to do so. Usually just trees. The last time he tried climbing a building, he didn't get far before someone spotted him and pretty much freaked out. As time went on, more and more people started to arrive. To be honest he wasn't expecting this many people to arrive and when Tinarah had shown up with Aria, Chrono felt relieved to see her outside, but was still concerned about her overall well being. He told himself that she would be fine. If anything were to happen he would do something about and felt safe in thinking that he wouldn't be the only who to act. At the start of the group run, Chrono had been doing fine in keeping up a decent pace with the others who were actually running. Eventually his pacing started to grind down not to a halt, but to a point where it was very clear that he was pushing himself to keep up. His legs felt like jelly after a while, will power being the primary means of keeping him standing. When it came time to eat at the picnic his legs might as well have vanished from underneath him as he straight up collapsed on the grass, taking a much needed breather. Their return was greeted by Master Gero himself along with Master Thallasa, who in itself was a surprise to see. Chrono himself had no idea what it was that he could say to Master Atmos before heading out again beyond a simple goodbye. Having heard that Master Gero wanted to speak with Take didn't help either for it made it so that this was what he was curious about. Curiosity got the better of him as he ended up followed Take to where he went to speak with Master Gero, finding a place to hide in which he hopefully wouldn't be spotted.
Totally didn't bring up the Employee of the Month pin cause I think you're a solid contender for it
As far as I'm aware, the only "Most" category I won that wasn't also an RPA category was this year with the tied for Most Likely to go to prison. So not sure if the RPA ones would count towards the pin as well, but I can check once I get to a computer
First off we have my actual pin requests User Awards Winner「Massimo」(Does "Most Likely to join every rp" count for this since its also an RP Nomination? Otherwise there the three way tire for "Most likely to go to prison" I was a part of) Question Timed Now for my questions, are you guys still going to give out the Employee of the Month pin? I'm aware this has nothing to do with me unless I managed to get on staff and even then i still wouldn't get, but I am curious on its status. When might we be able to start requesting the material pins?
*Shrugs* They know I have 0 support for thier little "marriage' so this is par for course. Not like it has any connections to how I feel about the event, which was fun. Went pretty much how I expected it, but still fun.
Given what's she done to you at times, were you ever?
For the second time today Chrono had been snapped at for asking a simple question. Was his timing that bad? That thought lasted for all of a few seconds before the realization that it had been Take who had lashed out at him this time. The surprise that followed lasted a bit after Chrono had responded with, "It's cool, don't worry." One thing was for certain, he wasn't okay. Standing there he listened as Take gave his thoughts regarding the Master of Masters. Then came the more personal information and the only thing Chrono did was to stand there and allow Take to speak. Anything that he had to say could wait until after his friend was done speaking. When that moment came, nothing was said at first. Chrono wanted to make sure he had his own thoughts in order before speaking. "Emotions aren't exactly easy to shut off, they're what make us human." Having said that out loud, he didn't quite like the way it sounded. He meant what he said, but it sounded a little bit on the cheesy side. With a sigh Chrono walked forward and placed his hand on Take's shoulder. "Look, I'm going to be honest. I don't know exactly what kind of training you had to go through to get rid of your emotion, nor do I know what it feels like to have to deal with dragons that feed off of those emotions." It had to be horrible. That much he could say for certain. "What I do know is that you're not weak for having those emotions. It's okay to feel emotions at times and we won't think poorly of you for feeling them." Of course this was coming from someone who would honestly make a crap solider. He would question orders and in some cases outright disobey orders if it was something that he completely didn't agree with. It was a good thing that he choose to avoid any career that had to do with the military prior to obtaining his keyblade.
It was quite the group that he'd found himself working with for the time being. Nothing that would change his mind regarding his decision to help them out in their endeavor, an act like that would look extremely poorly on him as well as his resolve. However the fact that his medallion was vibrating as much as it currently was would be something Lumen would have to get accustomed to. When the tavern owner said she would take the to rooftop in order to provide an overwatch of sorts, Lumen considered which path he should take. Ideally if the prison break could be done stealthy, it would good. Lumen wasn't the best when it came to circumstances like that. Not that he couldn't, but luck would always be against him and bite him in the rear. "I suppose I'll be the first to volunteer for the distraction group."
Zephyr gave Selena a nod, pocketing the vial that she had handed him right as someone else had entered the town hall. Having spent years dealing with people cutting their eyes at him or looking away so that they could whisper their gossip, Zephyr had gotten good at noticing the small little expression people made at times. So Kyo's glances towards Thea and Selena as well as Jack's brief expression of anger were not lost on Zephyr. It raised an internal eyebrow to all this that lead to equal concern. "Yeah, nice to meet you too." Jack seemed like he was a nice guy, which was good to know. Thea soon came up asking if she could go see the kitten. Zephyr didn't really mind as he was more curious about what he had just learned, but he didn't think that they would just allowed him to waltz in and see some of the old records. "I don't see the harm in us all going." He said with a shrug. He didn't mind cats either so why not.
