Take wasn't that surprised that the follow up question was about seeing the keyblade so he could have a look at it. The boy tilted his head and managed to lie fairly smoothly, "Unfortunately, like us randomly teleporting, the weapon only appears when the creatures are nearby. or when the user is in immediate danger." Take shrugged and held his hands up, "I wouldn't fret about it though, that's a very good thing. It means we just need to focus on keeping this ship a'sailin." He hoped his bluffing was good enough, he made sure not to lose eye contact with silver, and because he was always taught to control his emotions he didn't feel the least bit intimidated by the guy. Take crossed his arms and said, "But if we end up in a scenario like that again, we can see if you can get a closer look before they vanish."
When Take heard the footsteps coming down, he didn't think much of it, but he did turn just to see who mainly because Aria did. When it turned out to be Silver, the person Illiana had previously mentioned was the reason she'd vanished... he almost wanted to give the man a high five for a moment if anything just to be sarcastic about it but he decided he should probably focus on the fact this man was asking a very direct question to figure out how they got there. When he heard Aria's response, Take turned his head towards her, "I think he meant showing up here." Take then turned to Silver and said, "Accidentally. Mostly...." Take paused a minute and thought a bit before crossing his arms and saying, "Our weapons we used to help fight those creatures, they have this particular effect where we kind of hop to the nearest place those creatures would be. And it just happened to be this ship. So... well, here we are. And they haven't made us move yet so, this is probably still the most likely place..." Take tried to keep a straight face as he explained this, and trying to speak with a matter-of-fact tone, but the problem was he was making this up on the spot and didn't know how believable it was.
Kaida had looked at Aislinn and said, "I think so..." but then the events began to unfold. Listening to Hikaru react in shock that the lion was going to go after, well, an animal, was pretty interesting. And she'd be lying if she didn't find slight amusement in Aux's morbid comments about describing the attack. But before she could even think, she'd somehow gotten involved when a meerkat jumped up on her back and proceeded to ride her like a horse. Whatever he did, it managed to make Kaida let out a little, "Kweh!" before she suddenly moved forward, running off of Aislinn's back and after the warthog, "W-what? HEY! EXCUSE ME!?" before she tried to halt herself saying, "Do you just jump on every bird to you run into and try to ride them?" she paused a bit and looked at the meerkat before looking over at Hikaru and letting out a groaned noise before saying, "Mmmm... Nala?! You could go after bigger prey than the pig if we keep looking!" and Kaida reluctantly started making chase after her. "One pig isn't gonna feed the whole family!"
Song was Home by Passenger cstar: @Aelin Fireheart We went 2 hours this time as opposed to last time which was only an hour and we both managed to wrap up a bit early. Aight boys and girls, it'd be nice if you picked your favorite again
Takehiko listened to her response to his... advice. And was a bit surprised how quickly the conversation turned into something that resulted in him being the "bad guy". Take heard her mention his enthusiasm and he flushed a bit with embarrassment and said, "I-I try to over-motivate myself so I don't give up. Let's me let a little energy out. I mean... I'm more of a shield than anything, I can take a hit... I just... didn't take them right this time... ya know? I just wanted to get the fight over with faster." Take sighed a bit and said, "I'll just... I'll be more conscious about it next time, okay? I just... I can't promise I won't get hit. Or hyped. I'll just be better about it." the boy looked around the kitchen and said, "You don't talk too much. If anything... I talk too little. I mean, I've been working on that but... trust me you don't talk too much. Illillama talks too much. " Take paused and murmured under his breath, "Illiana... not Illillama... you know what, I'm gonna keep using that.... anyway even if you did talk too much, don't worry about it unless you've gotta keep quiet."
Take listened intently to what Aria said, and was a little surprised to get told what happened to her in her homeworld. He didn't think the conversation would go nearly that far back, he had suspicions it was more over recent events, like Mika (which it was) or possibly Tinarah. He listened and nodded occasionally to show active listening, since apparently people thought he zoned out, and when she finished he tried to figure out how to reply. He almost felt like it was a lie to tell her it was okay to cry, because he didn't believe in that himself. He wanted to tell her everything out be alright, but with the bracelet situation and Mika being gone, he didn't want to lie to her about that either. The boy rubbed his wrist again without thinking about it, almost an action he reflexively did rather than consciously doing so. When words finally came, he let go of the wrist and went with it, "Well... Mika isn't gone. I mean. No I'm not trying to get your hopes up about something like that I didn't mean to I just... she's she's always here." he pointed towards Aria's chest before realizing she might not be able to figure out where he was pointing so he rolled eyes and placed his hand on his own chest, "Here. I-I know it's corny, but... the people we lose, they don't leave us, they always leave an impact. It hurts, the hurt doesn't go away, but sometimes it's a bit easier to move knowing that they would want you not to dwell for too long. I... know that's not easy either." Take let his hand fall onto the counter gently and he stood up straighter, stretching slightly as he said, "I've lost a lot of people in my life, and I know they want me to carry forward... Iwa-... my brothers would probably want me to do that with a smi- ...with some dignity. Some people react differently. It's... it's okay to cry. It's better than not crying at all and having it build up into something negative... " Take rubbed the back of his head and said, "And believe me, you're not a bringer of bad luck. It's just.... all the bad things want your good luck... no that one was a bad attempt at making you feel better don't listen to that last one."
In the nullness of the moment, Take was pretty sure the only reason he followed Aria was because of the idea of having chocolate. It wasn't he one weakness or anything, he just really liked food and chocolate just happened to be one of his favorite treats he seldom got. He watched Aria dart ahead and he took a bit of time to get down just to breathe. When he reached the bottom of the stairs, Aria was already working in the kitchen with... tears in her eyes. Takehiko paused a moment trying to think of something to say, he didn't like the idea of seeing anyone upset, it was the same reason why he'd gone to attempt to make Tinarah feel better... though he wasn't sure it worked. Take leaned against the counter of the kitchen while Aria was starting to get to work and he fiddled with his thumbs a little before he finally said, "If um... if you want to talk about anything I'll listen..." Takehiko blinked and looked away saying, "Or if you would prefer not to, that's quite alright too..."
...
Takehiko had been mostly okay with Illiana's tactic with tea, it seemed to be working with others as well and he couldn't fault her for it. He was hoping Glyde was alright at least, since he seemed out of it as well. But suddenly he looked towards Illiana and heard the first words Aww Tacky can smile. It was almost immediately that Take's smile disappeared as he looked at Illiana almost blankly, he couldn't hear the words after that statement and he closed his eyes a moment. Spoiler Take felt a sudden slap and saw the silhouette of a bug. His eyes shifted around the dark room as he felt himself speak, "You can't stop me from smiling." "Sure we can. We can help you with it." Take's eyes looked up and a scorpion was placed on his wrist and he felt a sudden shot of pain. "Repeat after me: good soldiers put their feelings last." The stinging continued as Take begged, "I don't want to stop feeling happy." "Good soldiers put their feelings last." Take quickly saw his brother give him a smile before running off to battle. He saw a black and purple dragon and felt another sting from the scorpion. "Good soldiers put their feelings last." "Iwao could smile... Iwao was always happy." "Iwao's dead." "Good soldiers put their feelings last." "G-good soldiers... p-put..." Take felt himself crying before he felt the sting again. "Why isn't Take allowed to smile?" "No one's allowed to smile Akio." Take felt another sting and felt himself feel nothing as he saw his older brother Yasushi mess with his hair before he also ran off to battle. It was the same dragon that swept over. "Good soldiers put their feelings last." "Good soldiers put their feelings last." "Good boy." Take placed his hand on his wrist as his eyes opened up and he rubbed a spot on his wrist, without really thinking about it and Take turned away, saying in the standard monotone, "Sorry. I won't do it again." Take turned his attention away and remembered the conversation about Silver and the boy let go of his wrist and said, "I'm going to go and find that captain and explain things." he turned around fully and went to go in the direction of the captain and away from the group.
Kaida was silent as she listened to Aislinn piece everything together and she let out a sigh and said, "You... basically said my own thoughts but out loud." Kaida looked back over towards Aux and saw... whatever was going on with Ananta and AJ. She turned her head back and admitted out loud, sounding a different kind of sad as she said it. All the other times she'd been sad and explaining her thoughts, there was a hint of bitterness and anger behind it, but this time it just seemed to be hidden behind regret and confusion, "I... I know it sounds odd but the way he is right now, it's the way we were before everything happened. This was the Aux I was best friends with. I... just came to accepting the fact that this was gone. That whatever kept us as friends was gone. Now he's back this way and it... hurts." Kaida looked up over towards Hikaru a minute and then back towards Aislinn, "I don't... want to care about him again... only for him to gain those memories back and go through all of this again... it's why I'm just trying to be cold about it." The blonde stretched her wings a minute and jumped up in the air and flapped her wings to land gently on Aislinn's back. She was basically the weight of a chicken, pretty much nothing, so she hoped it wasn't causing Aislinn anguish or anything though it might have seemed weird. She burrowed a bit and said, "Aux never liked heartache. He'd understand why I'm avoiding it."
Take scoffed a bit at her reply wanting him to use her given name considering the fact she never used his. When Illiana pulled out the tea to hand it to Aria, he tried to hold back rolling his eyes at her and he crossed his arms. But it did allow for him to transition his focus over to Aria and he could tell she wasn't doing alright. He'd noticed her shaking not too much longer before and now she was trying to calm herself down with breathing. Take tilted his head a bit and was about to open his mouth and say something different, but he realized it might not be helpful in this situation. He pondered a bit longer before he said, "Everything's alright. You're safe now." For now. His eye twitched as he tried to keep back that thought and he took a breath and said, "You'll make it through. We'll make it through." he even added in a small and reassuring smile, one he was slowly becoming used to giving out, though he usually wasn't thinking about it. At least attempting to be comforting.

...hello there

Takehiko had been a bit more preoccupied with the black hole scenario before even thinking to answer Aria's question. When Jim was securing the lifelines Take had walked over and grabbed a rope for himself and tied it into his belt before the worst of it kicked up and he tried to signal for others to do so as well. In case they hadn't caught on. When the final steps were taken, the ship began to blast on out of there and Take held on tightly before the calm began. As the crew cheered, Take just felt a wave of relief they got out of that scenario. Sounding a bit distant, and back to his usual monotone, Take finally managed out, "I'm fine, Aria." he took another breath before he untied the rope and turned straight towards Illiana and crossed his arms, "So, where exactly did you decide to gallop off to on your own... Lieutenant General?" The way he focused the last word was so he made certain it was clear Takehiko was mocking her, and didn't even for a minute take her claimed position of authority seriously.
Take heard Illiana's comment come almost out of nowhere and the boy turned his head and asked with just as much anger in his voice as he had towards everything else, "Ya know, dining and dashing during a date doesn't make guys like you either. You seem that type." Take felt a hit from one of the pirates and he kind of just elbowed it away from him before he charged after the Air Pirate that hit Chrono and he jumped up in the air and hit the Air Pirate so it flew off the side of the ship as it disappeared. Take landed on the ground solidly before he took a deep breath and he backed away a bit and got himself guarded up just in case. He seemed to finally be calming down now that everything was under control. A little too calm. HP: 13/35 AP: 3/14 ( 1 Air Pirate) MP: 10
Take had gotten so excited that he hadn't exactly put on any guarding after that last attack. So when the sudden brute force of so much damage hit him, Take flew back a little and clutched his stomach before he got himself up. He felt a healing light and looked over in the direction of Aria and he raised a thumb up at her as a show of thanks before he ran on at the air pirate and yelled up in the air as he glowed with a bit of provoking energy, "Come at me! Come at me! You threw that hit huh? YOU WANNA ANOTHER PIECE OF ME?!" his sudden yell may have seemed unwarranted but it got the attention of the rest of the air pirates as Take slashed on down and got one of 'em and the boy help up his arm with his keyblade, "Who wants to take me on huh? WHO WANTS IT?" There was a moment where Nini seemed to sort of mew in a bit of fear as he responded, "SHUT IT FUZZBALL. AAAAAAAAAAH." and Take threw his keyblade at the last remaining fiery globe and grabbed his keyblade to hold on guard for rest of it, "COME ON, I KNOW YOU WANNA. COME OOOOOOON." Nini ran back towards Aria and jumped into her bag over the nervousness of Takehiko's intensity. Take used Provoke btw in case that wasn't clear HP: 22/35 AP: 2/14 ( 1 fiery globes, 1 Air Pirate) MP: 10
Take chose to not go in provocation mode this time, mostly because it was multiple enemies and not one big enemy. So once Aira got the run in and suggested getting the smaller ones, Take nodded and once Chrono got in and got a lot of them down, the boy chose to go after what was left of the red nocturnes and getting a few of the fiery globes while he was at it. He felt a lot more comfortable fighting with the keyblade at this point. He wasn't nearly as fast as the others, but he was packing a significant enough punch to not feel too bad. When he finished up with some of the globes, a few were left and he tried to back away a little before he felt his keyblade glow slightly and the boy looked at it a bit and suddenly felt a bit of a surge of power. He knew what he wanted to do at this point. Pointing over towards one of air pirates, Takehiko focused in and felt his keyblade shine out as he yelled, "Blizzard!" and a blast of cold shot straight at one of the air pirates, bringing it down almost immediately and Take smirked a little bit at the success of the attack. HP: 35 AP: 0/14 ( 6 fiery globes,4 red nocturnes, 1 Air Pirate) MP: 10
Kaida was a bit surprised when Aislinn asked her about Aux. She didn't exactly mind answering that question, she just didn't know how accurate she'd be to the whole story. As Kaida walked she sighed and flapped her wings again to stretch before answering, "Aux was someone I trained with in Central Haven when we were part of the academy there. We both have always been at odds with each other though but... Aux was a good guy for the longest time. Kind of quiet, tried to keep up this rather 'stoic' approach that always bothered me but.. he's always seemed to have memory problems and it wasn't an issue until he ran off one day and came back... well, darkness oriented. He's been working with this guy called No Heart or... something like that and they've been doing bad things, but the way we got into the realm of darkness was because he kind of threw us in here... which... we can't get out. And now he has no memories presumably because of the entry fee into the game but... it feels odd to me." Kaida hoped that was a good enough explanation.
Takehiko was flung back pretty hard by the suddeness of the wind, feeling the air get knocked out of him from the way he hit his back. He clung onto something just in case and went to look up towards the sky to see what was going on and his eyes were blinded for a moment and he covered them. It was like fire, was it a dragon? No, it couldn't be. And the dog seemed to yell and confirm that assumption pretty soon anyway with something called a "supernova" or whatever. Take attempted to at least get up to his knees as he yelled back, "I'm fine!" his voice was obviously still recovering from the hit. He looked over to at least locate Aria and then Chrono before asking, "Is it a monster of some kind?" he couldn't actually figure it out. He finally got himself up and clinging to the side of ship as he said, "Either way, we should help out...!" his mind more focused on the immediate task. He didn't even think to ponder about Illiana and Glyde's location, he just hoped they were alright.
