Seriously, I was watching a kid play Uncharted Drake's fortune the other day and it was just REDONKULOUS how this kid could barely get past the first obstacle in the game. I had to break it down for him like a ****ing math problem (You have to break the floor beneath you but you don't know what to break it with. Maybe you should explore the area and find something that will help you break it) A pretty simple problem right? Just go everywhere that you haven't gone before But no, this kid was shooting at the ground with his gun. That didn't work so he decided to go back the way that he came, ALL THE WAY BACK! That didn't work so he went to the start menu and went to restart area as if he missed something He did this and ended up back at the same obstacle once again. I asked him "Is there anywhere you haven't been before" He says "No, I went all the way back to the beginning of the level and there's no way to break the floor" "Are you SURE you've tried everywhere? What about up?" I tell him this and it takes him a good FOREVER to deduce that there is a platform that he can jump on to reach another platform to reach another platform with a rock on it to break the floor beneath him. THIS IS THE KIND OF CHILD WHO IS SUPPOSEDLY DOING EXCELLENT IN SCHOOL AND CAN RECOGNIZE FOOTBALL PLAYS IN AN INSTANT I could understand if this was Portal or Catherine or any other puzzle game But this is the first level of a platformer, a platformer y'know like ****ING MARIO!? What kind of world do we live in where an 8 year old can't even get past the first level of a game that DOESN'T require you to shoot the enemy that's shooting you.
Most friends are interested in when you make other friends Especially when that person is someone who you frequently see at school the least you could do is say "Yeah I'm pals with that person"
Don't you think all of that would have been worth mentioning to a long time friend instead of just saying "I went to return a notebook".

State 2 has been saved You promised Hazuki that you would hang out with her, just you two so you go over to her desk. "Hey Hazuki, where do you wanna eat?: Hazuki looks up at you from her seat baffled "It's you again....you....you actually......." Suddenly Hazuki stands up "HOLD ON! ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT THIS!?" Was she trying to shout? If so it was prett miserable for a shout, sounded like she was talking at room level "Yes, I'm dead serious" Hazuki looks away, you can't help but notice a faint smile across her face. "Well uhhh....I usally go to this one coffee shop near here" "GREAT! Then let's go" You're perked up, you have to be to compensate for Hazuki's lack of enthusiasm Hazuki packs up her stuff and follows you out of the class It seems the whole class is staring at you and Hazuki walking out especially Rita and Saya Rita looks at you with her eyes wide open, no surprise there. Saya on the other hand looks absolutely pissed off, her arms are lowered with one hand making a fist, she seems to be clenching her fist pretty damn hard. The sparkle that's usually in her eye is gone and her usual smug smile and been replaced with a deadly frown. Her slanted eyes lock on to you as you walk out the room, is she gonna say something? What's with her? As you leave the classroom and walk down the hallway with Hazuki you can hear the angry footsteps of someone coming from behind you, you can already make out who it is. You turn around only to see Saya's enraged face staring at you. She stares you down for a good while that feels like forever, Hazuki is just staring at the two of you, she probably feels very awkward in this situation right now. You can't help but look at Saya with a confused expression on your face as if you don't know what she's angry about but you can probably reasonably deduce what the problem is. Still you let her make the first move ... "So what's going on here Kumatora?" Saya speaks in a surprisingly calm and quiet voice that complelty contradicts what her face is showing right now "I'm gonna go eat lunch with Hazuki" "You're gonna what?" You must have been too focused on Saya's rage to notice that Rita was standing right behind her "But Kuma, you always eat lunch with us. What's with the change?" [] "It won't be everyday" [] "I think we should all try to get to know Hazuki more" [] "I forgot to tell you guys but she's hired me as a tutor, so I'm helping her with homework."(lie)
"Relax, I was just giving her a notebook that she left at school, my teacher asked if anyone knew where she lived and I happened to be that person so he asked me to return the book to her." Aisa smirks "That's so like you, always willing to help people out no matter who you are. Some things just never change" You're not sure if that's a compliment or not but whatever. It seems that she believes in you. As you get to your class, Aisa waves goodbye "I'll see you at the usal place for lunch alright Kuma?" she runs off to her homeroom class before you can tell her about your plans with Hazuki. Actually you couldn't tell her anyway considering you lied about doing anything with Hazuki other then giving her back her notebook. Everyone sits down and your homeroom teacher arrives into the classroom. Class begins. Class was mundane as usual and it's time for lunch. You see Hazuki packing up, she must be going somewhere else for lunch. At the class entrance you see Rita waiting for you and Saya. A couple of boys are talking to Saya but she doesn't seem to be paying any attention to them. As soon as Saya see's Rita she hastily pushes the boys aside and heads out of the classroom with her bag. The two look at you expecting you to come with them and eat on the roof as always. [] Have lunch with Hazuki [] Have lunch with friends as usual Hurry up and choose, I can't wait to see what you guys choose.

A new day has dawned The BLINDING light from the sun pierces through your drapes and emits onto your your eye forcing you to wake up. You get out of bed but you're not quite awake yet, impulsively you open your window and the cool breeze manages to switch you to fully wake mode. You briefly remember everything that happened yesterday, you promised to hang out with Hazuki yesterday so you better keep that in mind. You do your daily routine, remembering to wear pantsu and whatnot, you seem to have gotten the hang of this little girl thing. You still kinda wonder how you woke up as a girl though. You go downstairs, eat breakfast, make small talk with daddy and head out on your way. It's a little chilly today so you decided to wear a coat over your school uniform, the school seems pretty lax what it comes to that stuff anyway. While walking to school you see the usual sights, folks walking to school, people bickering and all that jazz, nothing in particular catches your interest today. When you get to school you encounter Aisa at the front gates, looks like she's waiting for somebody. She spots you from a distance. "HEY! KUMA! WHAT'S UP!" Aisa runs over to you "How was your day yesterday? I was gonna go hang out with Rita but softball practice took longer then expected, I was worn out after practice, our manager really needs to step it up a notch. We've been running late way too many times the student council's gonna get pissed off at us at this rate. I tell you, the guys in the student council are really stuck up and snobby, especially that Akanji guy, he LOOKS like he's a nice charming guy but I see through him, I saw him hitting on some of the juniors yesterday, what a total creep. I would never go out with a guy....." Does she ever stop? You could have sworn that she asked YOU how your day was. You just sorta let her ramble on about nothingness until she says something that sparks your interest. "Anyway, Saya told me that you were going to Hazuki's house yesterday, what's up with that? You friends with her or something? I've never seen you talk to her before, she's kinda quiet so I don't see HOW you would talk to her any- You stop her mid sentence "How the hell does SHE know that I went to Ha-" You cut yourself off as one of your memories as the little girl comes to surface Saya's house is right in front of Hazuki's house, she probably saw you talking to Hazuki from her window or something. You told Hazuki that you would keep your "relationship" just between you two but now Aisa knows, and knowing Saya; Rita and Emi probably know as well. State 1 has been saved You decide to take the bus, don't wanna run into any creeps and what not while walking home. .... After a bit of waiting the bus finally arrives and you get on it. It's a fairly boring bus ride for the most part but not too long as you don't live THAT far away. However interestingly enough on about the third bus stop you see a couple arguing on the other side of the street, the male seems to the victim in this one, he looks really rough like some sort of mobster and his figure absolutely towers over the girl so it looks kinda odd seeing this man cower in fear at the girl. Still it's none of your business so there's no reason to get involved with it and it's not like you can anyway. While on the bus you ponder over your conversation with Hazuki, are you two truly THAT different to the point that interacting with each other is almost futile? Perhaps your efforts to be her friend are in vain. Regardless you told her that you would try so you can't go back on it now. Maybe you should let the girls know about this. You finally get off at your stop and walk the way to home. You enter your house with your key, the light's are on signalizing that dad is home and the aroma of dinner slams into your face as you walk in. Dad's not downstairs though, he must be sleeping in his room, he does seem to get tired often lately. You eat dinner, do some schoolwork and spend the rest of your waking hours watching TV. You have time for one more activity before you head off to bed. Maybe you should tell of your friends about your encounter with Hazuki, at the moment it seems that they have the wrong impression of her. Hazuki anger suddenly fades into a confused look. Your comment must have completely gotten her off guard "Huh........wha....wh-wh-what do you mean by just us?" Now's she sweating, maybe you shouldn't have said that "We can hang out....some other time..I have...umm....ummmmm" Hazuki frantically searches around the room, she eyes the unopened textbooks on her table and rushes over to them "I HAVE TO DO HOMEWORK! So...I NEED CONCENTRATION! SO YOU HAVE TO GO NOW!" Now she's shouting, what is with this girl? "Well can we hang out tomorrow?" Hazuki practically leaps over to you and begins shoving you out the door "YEAHYEAH!SURE!TOMMOROW!WE'LLHANGOUT. GOODBYE NOW!" It's kinda hard for you to make out what she just said by you're sure she just invited you to another hangout session. By the time you can reply to her though you are already out the door and the door behind you slams shut. It seems to have gotten a lot darker since you went into Hazuki's house. It's gonna take some time to get back home and you don't want daddy getting upset so you decide to directly go home. It's not THAT dark yet but maybe you should take the bus just to get home faster [] Take bus [] Walk I know what you guys are gonna pick and that's why I'm giggling so much right now I encourage you to be adventurous but I won't promise you that things will go exactly the way you want them to dohohoho

"So why don't you talk to people?" This time Hazuki seems to have an irritated look on her face. She raises her voice a tad "Because I don't want to that's why" You're not to sure if that was anger or just her trying to speak regularly. "Or to be more specific, me and people don't seem to get along. I'm not normal, I'm weird, different against my own will. I don't fit the norm." Now her voice is REALLY getting louder "I used to try and fit the norm, so don't give me the whole I should try to get along with people bullshit." Her voice returns to it's usual quiet tone "I'm just unlucky, you were born with the ability to socialize and get people to like you and I wasn't. It's a little unfair but I'm content with it nowadays." Hazuki gives a sad smile "Is that why you're here? Are you gonna try and convert me and turn me into one of you? If so then don't bother, I don't want to be like one of you and you don't want to hang out with the likes of me." You're a little baffled, you can't quite come up with an answer right now. On one hand she's completely wrong about you wanting to "convert" her but on the other hand it's hard for you to talk with her because it's as she says; you guys are completely different. You have a ton of friends, one being one of the most beautiful girls in school and from the looks of she has nobody, it's hard to relate. You should be careful with what you say... [] Leave.
