I've thought of this a million times, but I never really thought anything of it. I think the fact that she knew and remembered that Sora still existed while his memories were being tampered with went pretty unnoticed. Noone remembered that he existed except Kairi, she didn't know his name, but she still knew he was there. I always thought that was special, because noone else remembered him. I did think it was because she was a princess of heart... and that she could possibly manipulate memories... Maybe she does it unintentionally, and she doesn't know she has the ability? I'm sure that it would be a part of something in their later games :]
I used it alot... I found it cool that you could lvl up the moogles... so I tried to lvl them up alot :]

I liked them. Goofy and Donald made the game for me. They had more personality that Sora did, that's for sure, and they made it WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more entertaining.
I was fighting nobodies in TWTNW for synthesis items and I went to switch to master form for kicks, and I got it... I kinda didn't want it.. but oh well, it was cool... kinda... I don't like it as much as master though :[ I like Master the best still...
I think Demyx was the closest one to actually having a heart. He seemed to actually feel fear, happiness, and he seemed to truly feel bad for having to attack innocents.
