Um...Wasn't it kind of the point of the Dead Space series? To give the player an isolated, frightening experience? But I guess they're not ditching the scare factor...They're just giving you the option to bring a friend with you for the scares.

~Maleficent's Throne Room~ Kilik awoke in a sweat, quickly getting up as he awoke. "He...Wants me to be his Master...If it is what must be done to defeat Dark Falz, then I will accept becoming his Master." Dante raised an eyebrow, though it couldn't be seen because of his hair. "I think you may have hit your head, bro..." Kilik looked to Dante "You must be the one who awoke me. I thank you. I am Kilik." "Dante." Dark Falz's voice was heard booming from the portal. "He sounds angry. Let's go in there and whoop some demon behind! Whaddaya say?" "I will be glad to join you...But I must wait for someone first. You may go on ahead if you'd like." Dante shrugged. "Whatever you say, man. Just don't expect me to save you any if you take too long." Dante made his way back through the portal, where Dark Falz was literally pounding Maleficent into the ground. In the most stylish way possible, Dante took out his two handguns, Ebony & Ivory, and aimed them at Dark Falz. "Look, I'm gonna skip the witty remarks and get right down to business. Sound good to you?" Dante asked jokingly. "Nothing? Damn, bro, you're making this hard. Too bad it's gonna be harder for you!" Dante then began firing off his weapons at Dark Falz. Meanwhile, Kilik continued to wait for the Servant that appeared in his vision. "I know you're here, Gilgamesh. Show yourself so we can dispose of Dark Falz."
