DEATH. edit; new rules added
ooc: took out a lot of details because nausea Boring &/0r predictable.Is it that difficult for you humans? There is no reason for you to exist anymore. The snakes are getting hungry. These snakes are to be fed three times a day, and they've only eaten once...it's getting late and they're getting agitated. Despite that, the wildlife control officers, squad by squad, have started to go off duty. They will resume the removal process in the morning. Until then, those of you at Brookridge academy and the surrounding areas are stuck dealing with them on your own. Be careful sleeping tonight. Remember, if you are bitten xx! As you go about your lives until then, it seems that one snake specifically is having no problem slivering down the hallways of xx. How did it get inside? Why is the only one around? Who knows, but it's extremely irritated. As it slithers and rounds a corner, it spots someone. They're awfully close now...Are they dangerous? They must be. And so, with a hiss, it strikes. It's fangs sink deep into the barely exposed ankle and it's venom sends a cold jolt up your body. ...What are you doing? You need to xx!! Hurry, there's not much time! This is no ordinary snake, you know... Don't you want to live...? Spoiler: - HAHAHA. Your muscles feel tighter as if --like a wet towel-- they're being wrung and twisted. The world spins as you collapse, falling right into a violent seizure. Your eyes roll back and sweat begins to form over your skin. The sour taste of vomit bubbles up to your tongue seconds before your vision blurs and then goes black. Spoiler: x
____) __________ Theodore's finger inched towards the button he assumed would call the nurse. It lit up in response and he sighed out softly, staring up at the ceiling with a grimace. This...sucked. He wondered if Marcus was alright, but figured he had probably stolen himself a flamethrower or some such and would be fine. He tried not to listen in on the conversation happening behind the first curtain and was grateful for the nurse who approached him so soon after his button pressing. Prompt. Excellent. ❝Excuse me, would you mind assisting me for a moment? I need to call my father.❞❝Of course! Do you need help reaching the phone?❞❝Ah, well, my cell phone...He won't answer anything else. It's in my pocket. I'm having trouble bending my arm to get it.❞The nurse was...attractive. She looked maybe--what--in her late twenties? Sandy blonde hair, tall and curvy. She was cute, and looked mixed with something. How privileged was this woman? His eyes flashed to her name tag. Valerie. He would remember to get her number before he left...Whenever that would be. He did not want to spend Christmas in a hospital bed.He held back a satisfied smirk as the nurse reached down, unfazed, to retrieve his cell phone. With permission, she dialed his father's number and stuck the phone between his ear and the pillow and then left without another word. As the phone rang, he noticed the clattering of a notebook and pen hitting the ground. His eyes locked onto it, but hell if he could reach it...He couldn't even hold his own phone. There was definitely someone in here, though. He should have paid attention to the conversation earlier. Forget courtesy. ❝James.❞❝Father.❞ ❝You are actually contacting me. Should I be concerned?❞❝I am in the hospital.❞❝...What has happened? Do you need me? Where are you? ...Is it--?❞❝No, it is not that. I was in an accident. I should be fine. I thought I should let you know.❞ ❝Where are you, James?❞ ❝Hydrangea.❞❝You will be transferred to my facility immediately.❞❝I do not need you to--...❞Click.
We will know then. Llave will be doing the clean sketches.
____) __________ ❝NEXT TIME, I'M DEALING WITH THE FUCKING SNAKES. AND YOU,THANKS FOR THE HELP.❞ What kind of insensitive bitch throws (mechanical) sarcasm into the face of someone who could very well be dying? He could empathize with her frustration, a bit, but what the fuck was he meant to do? He didn't know how to fly a fucking helicopter...Did she expect him to move to the front, act like he was hot shit and crash the damn thing into the ocean? Yes, next time he would keep that in mind. Be impulsive, Theodore, be macho and over-confident and kill everyone. At least you'll look like you tried to be a hero before death. What great fucking traits. This is why he hated most of his peers. Immature, selfish idiots. And to think, he was going to thank her. For what, even? Grabbing the stick and crashing them into an intersection? No, but he did need to seriously thank Marina when he got the chance. She was still warm, which was both a great sign, and a comfort to him. As soon as she was pulled away, he grimaced and the worst of the pain seemed to kick in. He groaned again as aches pulsed up and down his spine and leg and he was hoisted up onto a stretcher. He closed his eyes.[ ♚ ] When he opened them again, he was in a near blindingly white room. As his vision adjusted and his senses returned, he noticed that there was a brace around his neck and his leg was pulled up into a cast. It became quickly apparent to him that he was in a hospital room and that he was most definitely injured. Unfortunate. How long would he have to stay here? Was he alone in this room? He tried to move his head but it wasn't working for him. Instead, he used his peripheral vision and caught sight of two curtains on either side of him, potentially blocking his view of others. He tried to wiggle and see if he felt his cell phone in his pocket, but that wasn't working, either. He needed to call his father now.
____) __________ This was wrong...He could feel drops of something warm hitting his cheek and he knitted his eyebrows together. Blood...? Why couldn't he move? There were other's in the helicopter still...They needed help! And this woman...The beauty, she was bleeding, too. He wanted to help her. He wanted to... He closed his eyes, meaning only to blink, but finding it so much more difficult to lift his eyelids than he remembered. He shifted his right leg and pain shot through his back again. With a wince and an audible groan, he went still again and let Marina pull him out without anymore of a fuss. His vision was blurring again, but so long as he could smell the smoke from the flames steadily spreading, and feel the pain, he knew he was alive.❝Th...a...nn...k y-...you.❞He hoped she would understand his near incomprehensible grumbling. With the strength he could find, he forced himself to stay awake. There was a ringing in his ear and a darkness around his sight, but he had to stay alive. He hoped the other's were alright, too...however unlikely that was.
____) ✔__________ Wide eyed and trembling, Theodore dropped his arms and listened to the tinkering of glass falling to the floor of the helicopter. The sound was drowned out as soon as it came by honks and screeches of tires. He collapsed back into his seat and forced himself to close his gaping mouth. Quickly, he buckled himself back in and braced for impact, trying to remember all he had learned about emergency landings. The cars around them were clearly visible now, but it seemed that luck was on their side. Some of the cars had cleared a way for them. It was almost like landing at an airport. Good, right. SCREEEEEEECH.The tail of the helicopter made contact first. The jolt was a painful one. If he hadn't been wearing his seat-belt, he would have been yanked from his seat. Theodore could hear and feel an unnatural bump from underneath the helicopter and figured that someone--probably the dead pilot--had been. He shivered. Who was this girl? How did she know how to land the helicopter?The sound of grinding metal was quieting now as the helicopter began to make it's stop. This would make the story of a lifetime, that's for sure. It would probably be the craziest thing to ever happen to him.He readied his fingers, preparing to unbuckle himself as soon as the helicopter halted beneath a traffic light, when his head suddenly slammed against the side of the chopper and his vision blacked out completely. Somehow, though he knew his eyes were closed and his head was most likely bleeding, he could see what was going on from the outside. The front of the helicopter had been hit by a truck as it settled into the intersection and spun a few times before falling onto it's right side and smashing tail first into the corner of a building. Flames engulfed the front of the chopper. Theodore watched in horror before turning away...No, wait, why was he having an out of body experience? ...was he DEAD?! He DIED?! He turned back around to face the helicopter and glided towards it, mentally willing himself to return to his body. His entire being burned. He had never wanted anything so badly before. He had never wanted to LIVE so badly. Please, please, please!! His eyes opened and he immediately regretted his decision to wake up. His body was shaking uncontrollably. There was something hot running down his face and shoulder. Pain was shooting up his spine. He couldn't speak, or move for that matter--not yet. Tiredly, he flashed back to all of the movies he had seen where an aircraft exploded on impact. That wouldn't happen here, would it...? No...No. It couldn't. Too much...
{ Latest Tumblr Update ➞ OOC} Nora was sleeping soundly...That is until she felt something slithering on the blankets. Her eyes fluttered open delicately, which felt foreign and wrong to her in this body, and her head tilted slightly as she was met face to face with...a snake? It was multicolored, like a tiger, almost, with black beady eyes surrounded by red rings. She had never seen this snake before.It did not look too happy, but it didn't seem to notice her movements, either. Was it...dangerous? Her hands were shaking now as she quietly and slowly reached out to Cherno, grasping her own long sleeve and yanking. She didn't speak. The long, wide snake was forming some kind of spiral on top of her knees, oblivious to the pounding in her head and heart. Cherno, Cherno. CHERNO.
___ _________ He caught Marina's soft gaze and felt his cheeks flush as he quickly turned away, clutching his phone to distract himself. The chopper was...loud. Not that he hadn't expected that. His stomach flipped a bit and he felt a little nauseous before it faded out. Ugh, what was wrong with him? He had become so much more jittery lately. Actually, when he thought about it, he was surprised he was still sane at all after the body switching. That was ridiculous! He still wondered if it were a dream... How long would it take for them to arrive? Where exactly where they going? The reality of the situation sent a painful throbbing to his skull. He didn't know these people--where were they going? Was he allowed to use his cell phone in the chopper? If he could, then should he text his dad to let him know he wasn't on campus? Sssssss......What? He tilted his chin down to his over-stuffed shoes and then he gazed up again at the strangers. No, there was no snake in here. He was going insane. He was that paranoid, eh? He didn't have a fear of snakes, but the idea of getting bitten up in the air was enough to make his face pale. He had no friends here. If it came down to something, he would probably be the first to be disposed of. His lungs suddenly felt smaller...too small. His breaths were coming too fast. Oh no, don't panic.And then the helicopter dropped, and so did Theodore's stomach. Simultaneously, there was a crashing sound from above and some sort of electric zapping. Nothing gave out all at once. First, the motor roared before quieting completely, and the aircraft trembled. Then, there was some sort of sound that reminded Theodore of dial-up internet. He peered desperately past the strangers and through the front window as the helicopter dipped forward. His throat closed up as he stared down through the window at some cars before. They were getting closer and closer, but they still looked miniature. This was good. The pilot could do something, probably. ❝Excuse me,❞ he was glad he didn't have to scream over the sound of the helicopter. ❝Are we going to die?❞ Wow, that's not really what he meant to say, but the pilot chuckled nervously. He mentioned something about a lightning strike or electrical surge and that all he needed to do to restore power was-- ... his reassurance was cut off by the sound of shattering glass. The helicopter was spinning now, and the rotor above could be heard clearly like sharpening knives. Theodore shielded his face as the glass burst and the cold air assaulted him, but not before noticing the pilot's body going completely limp and a spray of blood spurting out like a water hose before dwindling.
Happy birthday. <3 Have a cupcake from What? and I. I associate you with blue and the crown was supposed to be because you're the birthday girl? IDK *LOSER* oweojfoawifha Have a wonderful day!
yo i made some cupcakes homies They were not homemade this time. That's okay, though. The batter tasted like kawaii and obesity. I lied to my mom and said I put ginger in them, so that she would not eat the batter. Yay. And the middle one is for Saxima. ; u ;
___ _________ Rude asses. Theodore's hopeful expression fell and he rolled his eyes, mumbling something to himself with an irritated tone before turning his attention to the voice behind him. Oh. It was her. THE BEAUTY. Had she switched back...? It seemed like it...Considering her way of speaking was just as eloquent as it had been in that peasant's body. His sour mood quickly switched back to neutral as he mused over their potential interaction. She must have known he had switched back too. He figured she would have been much more pleased if she had thought him to be that Dylan guy.It felt pretentious of him, getting on this helicopter with a load of strangers, but he didn't like his options. Maybe he should stay behind...Sssssss...Shit, there it was again! Nope. He got into the helicopter quickly, buckling himself in with a deep sigh. No one had acknowledged him. He would stay quiet for this helicopter ride. He had never been on a helicopter before. Flying seemed exciting...Especially when you were flying away from a deadly snake-infested academy with a bunch of strangers. He considered texting his father.Sssssss....
___ _________ Deep green irises locked onto the ceiling...Yes, this felt right at last. No blonde stands of hair blocking his vision, no awkward stiffness. He felt at home. It was good, too, because he was about ready to say screw it all and start experimenting with this whole 'Crestatia' thing in that kid's body. He pulled himself up and clenched his fingers into a fist, flexing them out after. Aah, so happy. So pleasant. The bed creaked a bit as he leaned over it and pulled open the draw of his bedside table. The book was still there. Lovely! It seemed his room mate had not fiddled with anything. That made him glad. Everything was back to normal. ...And then he woke his phone up from sleep and noticed all of the missed messages. He clicked his tongue and ran a hand through his soft, familiar dark locks as he pulled his blankets off of his body and sat at the edge of the bed. He had been invited to the dining hall by Olivia. He rolled his eyes. Another privileged spoiled brat...However, his train of thought shifted a bit when he noticed the next missed message. It was an email, actually, alerting him of Brookridge's...snake problem. That was great. Subconsciously, he pulled his feet back up onto the bed and quickly scanned his room.❝Of course.❞Jumping from his bed to Marcus' empty one, he maneuvered and balanced his toes on the furniture all of the way to the small closet that housed his clothes. He reached out from the round table near the kitchen to the closet and pulled it open. Moving quickly, but still with paranoia, he pulled out a shirt and some dark jeans. Without anymore time wasted, he shock the clothing out to insure no snakes and got dressed quickly--still on the table. He put on three pairs of socks and crammed his feet into his shoes. Once those were on and he felt safer, he stepped back onto the floor and looked at his phone again. Without wasting anymore time, he got the hell out of his dorm room and raced down the halls--being especially careful when turning corners. It was like a ghost town. Even the lodge was empty when he passed through it. This wasn't good at all...Why were people freaking out so badly? They were just snakes, right? No one had been bitten yet...right? It was then that Theodore swore he heard some kind of hissing coming from behind him just as he flung the doors open and stepped out into the cold.Nope, nope, NOPE, NOPE NOPE. As he ran towards the dining hall, completely abandoning all memory of not wanting to go, he caught site of the group on the roof. Are you kidding me? He considered taking an elevator up but the thought of being trapped in an elevator with deadly snakes...No. Instead, he made the journey up the staircase and out to the roof. He tried not to let it be known that he was completely exhausted and out of breath, so instead he covered his mouth in a pretend yawn and stretched upward. ❝Odd place for a meeting,❞ his voice has just a hint of strain in it. ❝For those of you who don't know...My name is Theodore, and it is a pleasure meeting you.❞He nodded towards everyone who was here, politely.
TYLER, ZOEY, DYLAN, MATTHEW, CASEY, HARLEY, HEIDI, THEODORE ARE SWITCHED BACK!!
Spoiler: Concepts Okay. For Fearless' design, we'll be going with Jayn's art. For Psychedelic's design, we'll be going with Llave's. For Jayn's, we'll be going with Fearless' art. For Aaliyah, we'll be going with What?'s art. Kitty hasn't gotten back to me yet. When she does, will update. The next step would be clean sketches. By clean, I mean really clean. Refer back to the example if you must. As stated, it would be really preferable if the same person could do the sketches. This person must be able to sketch the four characters within the given time frame. (Until the 31st -- it's okay if you get most done and need a couple of extra days for the rest). Spoiler: Sketches should be At minimum within the 700x700 dimension (large sketches = bess). They MUST be digital. You can either draw all them full body or half body (end at hips). We're looking for high quality work here! Not perfect, but good work. If this means you need more time, please talk to me. I am willing to extend the deadline considering art takes time, if needed, but we're also looking for someone who can provide quality while still being efficient. If one person does not step up willing to do this job by the end of tomorrow, we will probably distribute the art between some of those signed up for this part. If you are interested PLEASE PM ME!! Don't ask to do it here, please. If you didn't already post references to your art here, please PM me with your DeviantArt or any links to your work. At the moment, please do not worry about different expressions/poses, but SAVE YOUR FILES. .SAI, .PSD, whatever you use, SAVE THEM SO YOU CAN GO BACK TO THEM IF NEEDED. We will work on different expressions and such during the time between the basic art finishing and the compiling of the VN. For now, just draw the characters in a default position/expression that matches their personality in the script. (For instance, Psychedelic's default expression would probably be a bit grumpy, whereas Kitty's default would probably be smiling). If you have any questions PLEASE ASK ME.

casually falls into despair
Theodore shrugged and went back to bed. lol -- Shocked at being pushed into the room and forced to lay down, Eleanora stayed quiet. She wasn't sure what Cherno meant by not having time for pleasantries. There was always time! ...Being cheerful just didn't feel right in this body, though, and it didn't help that her head was pounding terribly. She nodded carefully at his words. It had just occurred to her that not only was the world gray, but also...much quieter. A bit boring, really...This empty feeling paired with Cherno's words lead her to a terrible conclusion...She was magickless, for now. She pulled his body further up upon the bed and curled up slightly like an overgrown child and sighed. "My...My name is Eleanora," She corrected...Again. "If you are having trouble controlling the magic, I suggest using my wand! It's white, and should be in the pillowcase...It takes a tremendous amount of focus at first to quiet everything down, but try not to fight it all of the time, okay? My wand will help you channel it." She didn't want him suppressing her abilities. Suddenly, the bed became extremely comfortable and she found herself dozing off a bit. What did he mean about protecting her? For John...? The thought made her a bit queasy and increased the pounding in her skull. As she closed her eyes, trying to ignore her body hovering over her, she wondered if she was really okay with all of this, and if things would be back to normal in the morning...
