That is your opinion, and you are entitled to have it. However, I enjoyed the game in spite of its flaws.
I almost had a heart attack because I misread XI as IX. 9 is the best one in the series okay

I remember thinking that when I was six.
I feel like one of the reasons it's so disliked is that, while it is a good game, it just didn't live up to the standards the Final Fantasy series have been held up to in the past.

To an extent? Personally, I thought the gameplay was pretty fun, although it did get slightly tedious at times. I would have preferred a traditional EXP level up system. But yea, the story and characters were pretty much the best part.
It only took me five months. I liked it well enough, though it did have a few problems overall. Like near the end. For the entirety of Orphan's Cradle I found myself wondering if I was near the end yet. And I wish they'd given the final Crystalarium upgrade before the end game. Fearless gives this game a 4 out of 5. Now I need to play the sequel.
