sweetie you've got your facts all mixed up there. It's canonically stated that a Time Lord/Lady is perfectly able to change biological sex. See The Doctor's Wife, the Doctor mentions his Time Lord friend who's been both a man and a woman and was perfectly happy with it. Also, it's been stated that Time Lords/Gallifreyans don't reproduce like us, no. They use something called looms, I think? I'm not sure of all the facts on this one and I'm not sure I want to, but I know it's not the same as us. As for River Song, she only regenerated twice, once as a little girl, and the second time she was actively trying and focusing all her thoughts on being a pretty lady. Still not entirely fond of her, but she did know what she was doing at least. I respect your opinion and all, but make sure you do the research before giving reasons like that. <3

I'm not saying Moffat is a completely terribad writer, because he's not. Some of my favorite episodes of Who are by him, and he does an amazing job with Sherlock. I just think he's awful at being DW's showrunner.
Ended up going with Hiromu Arakawa because honestly I don't read most of the stuff on that list. I don't read much manga and I need it to be pretty to keep my interest.
Okay, I have a couple of points to make. 1) I am extremely pleased with Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor. As much as I adore Matt Smith, we've had four young, attractive (imo) men playing the Doctor in a row and I was hoping for a switch up with either a Lady Doctor or an Older Dude Doctor. I've not seen much of what Capaldi has done previously, but he looks hilarious. 2) The Doctor has absolutely no influence on what he looks like when he regenerates. Otherwise he would have been ginger a long time ago. Therefore, it is possible for him to be a woman upon regeneration, with no thought on his part. There are several theories as to why this is (only Lady Time Lords get to decide what they look like, there's something wrong with him, he just sucks at regenerations... etc.) but to my knowledge there's no canonical reason why. 3) The Doctor is canonically Pansexual. Coming from a society where people are able to switch gender, sex, and aesthetics every few years will do that to you. You generally don't stop loving someone based on what they look like or what their genitals do.
