~~Small Cave~~ As Mato slept beneath her blanket -- really Rin's blazer -- she began to feel... strange. Odd thoughts filled her head as she found herself wandering through a landscape forged from her dreams. It seemed like a wasteland, but the sky was constantly shifting hue gently, going from pink to blue to green, and so on. The ground beneath her feet felt like some kind of sand, but not quite. It was somehow both soft to the touch, and firm to stand on without sinking into it. Everything about this place just seemed... off. And yet, it all seemed right too. At last, she came across a single feature in the landscape; a cave, one that looked decidedly familiar. After a few moments, Mato realised how so; it was the exact same cave that she and Rin had come across. "Rin?" she asked, stepping into it, seeing nobody there. "Are you still here?" "An odd question." a voice spoke, as though in answer, from behind her. "Rin was never here. Or more accurately; you are not currently where Rin is." The girl that spoke looked almost identical to Mato's current form was standing there in the doorway. Her first thought was that it was the girl they had lost to in the arena, but no; this one seemed different. Much more familiar. It was Black Rock Shooter herself. Spoiler "Black Rock Shooter..." Mato stated, surprised to meet her Other Self here. And then she realised that it wasn't so surprising at all. Though Mato was the dominant personality, she and Black Rock Shooter must be sharing the body, and so the Other Self girl was able to contact her this way, as though through a dream. "This planet is very different to Earth, or even the Otherworld. It's a place where some forms of physics don't seem to even apply, and time and space both, as concepts, do not exist. In other words, anything, regardless of where or when it came from, could be here. You should be prepared for that." Black Rock Shooter explained, stepping into the cave herself and sitting down on a small outcropping. "But then... why did we become one person?" Mato asked, confused as to some of the ideas that BRS was explaining to her. "To put it simply; we have always been one person, and the world seems to have recognised that. We seem to have both been pulled into the world at once, causing us to share a body. Since you are my charge, and not the other way around, it goes without saying that you would be the 'first' personality." Mato nodded, still slightly confused, but feeling as though she knew more than before. ~~Spiral Capital - Teppelin~~ "You may do as you will." Lordgenome spoke to the girl that addressed him. "If it's entertainment you seek, follow Char. I have no doubts that he is planning something; he will not question you offering to join him."
