At first, he had felt terribly guilty about leaving his dorm mate all alone during a potentially deadly snowstorm. Luckily, now that things were relatively normal for everyone again, the guilt was wearing off.

​

Theodore would never admit it aloud but his stay at Antilum hadn't actually been that bad this time. He spent most of his time in his room making idle conversation with KIERA, attempting to stay on top of studies despite not attending class, and writing. Dr. Timothy had left him be for the most part with the occasional popping in typical of a father, and he had been provided with warmth and amazing meals. ​

Yep. Not bad. ​

During his stay he had noticed a ridiculously large sum of money having been deposited into his checking account. Naturally he assumed his father was just being his usual hypocritical self. 'Get a job--here have some money'...but then he found a suspicious letter from some Ophiliantius person. A few hours spent pondering, he eventually concluded that this was some grand attempt to get him to use his father's money and decided not to touch it for now. Perhaps he would donate it. ​

Regardless, none of that mattered right now. Mrs. Price had reviewed his application and he had just ended a very brief and casual interview with her. Now to wait. He wasn't used to this whole waiting with anxiety for results thing. A glare was plastered on his face as he worried quietly to himself. ​

Coffee in hand (he was getting addicted to this stuff...), he took a seat and decided to spend his empty period reading. ​

Therapy was a beautiful thing, at first. Nora wasted no time opening up completely and utterly to this stranger. The woman's name was Karen (Dr. Lucas). Instantly, Nora found herself discouraged by the woman's thick golden-brown wave of curls... Then, she unfortunately took notice of Karen's dark, long, curly eyelashes, deep hazel eyes, and angular face. However, the feeling of jealousy was soon washed away by the therapist's surprising amount of tenderness. The way she listened and only smiled when appropriate, and how comfortable she made sure Nora was. It was nice expressing her worries and thoughts to someone who actually listened...and was alive.

The high she had experienced from attending the session was washed away by the storm. Yes, she had known it was coming and had prepared the dorm, but no she did not think it would get so bad. Since when did Brookridge have such dangerous snow storms? Unfortunately the buses had stopped running and she had thought it wise to attempt to walk back to Brookridge. ​

​

Her adventure alone in the snow had turned into a complete disaster and she ended up in the hospital with a twisted ankle. Everything was fine now, but those were the moments she wished she had a friend. A friend who was alive. ​

​

Speaking of friends...Though hesitant to approach, as she entered the cafeteria and grabbed a tray of food, Nora took immediate notice of the blonde transfer student she had met however long ago. She was engaged with someone, a boy, and though the brunette truly did not want to disturb them, she knew that disappearing on someone and never talking to them again was not the way to make friends. ​

❝H-Hello! Good morning!❞Goosebumps. Her nervousness and guilt made her divert her eyes as soon as she approached the table and sat down beside the blonde. She flashed a friendly smile to the stranger across from them, too. ​
