There would be a memorial for the students who had been lost in the...'satanic ritual'. It was interesting that she would also get an invitation to go to a party later on the same evening. To be honest, it didn't really sound like that great of an idea to meet up. Not only that, but it brought her worlds of anxiety to think about interacting with everyone.

She was a trouble maker, after all. Something always seemed to go wrong. Often she tried to suppress the bubbling feelings of guilt and shame, but she couldn't quite shake the feeling that most of what had happened to the people around her was her fault. Not everything, of course not, but a lot of it. It hurt.

It hurt especially bad standing here in front of John's tombstone. She hadn't attended his funeral--she couldn't. Watching his body lowered into the ground...It would be too much. But still, she couldn't help herself from coming to visit his grave. She left bouquets and dandelion bracelets...Sometimes food. She knew it was only his body here, but it was the thought that counted. She didn't want to forget about him.

When she was through this time, she made her way back to the dorms. She wasn't sure how this would all turn out but...She decided to go ahead and attend Theodore's 'function'.

His findings weren't all too surprising but he wasn't sure what to make of it all, exactly. He compared the names of the strange email he had gotten to the names that had showed up in KEIRA's results and sure enough...Quite a bit matched. There were some 'unrelated' deaths, but most of them seemed to be a result of something bigger--most likely caused by the Bellhurst kids. Well, not the 'Bellhurst' kids but...The '100 Days to Live' kids. He scowled. What a silly thing.

But if this 'silly thing' was killing people, then it wasn't so silly at all. Who was C? He figured the Bellhu--uhh...the other kids would know.

He had joked about it earlier, but it was honestly a baffling thing to imagine that there was some twisted killer--no, more than a killer if they could cause floods and control people...Some twisted thing slaughtering people listed on an email and they all seemed to go about their lives normally. It wasn't just baffling--it was stupid. Had he known and had proof of this being legitimate sooner there was no way he would be enrolled in school. There was no way he would go around acting like everything was peachy, either. No, something was horribly wrong with this. Either these people were psychopathic masochists or they were just--bluntly--dense.

Then again perhaps he was speaking too soon. Maybe the ones who had been killed had tried to do something about the situation. He felt sick when he imagined him being one of the people killed off...Or Elliot.

Sitting on his tail and turning his head from it was not the solution either. And so, Theodore found himself asking KIERA to send out a message to everyone on the email...who was alive. This message would be sent via text if a number was available, and also straight to their email. He realized that he was being rash, but it was the easiest way to get their attention. Unfortunately, this plan of his required some help from his father--which he hated to accept...

Of course, he couldn't just straight tell Dr. Timothy what this was all about. Instead he told a little white lie...a lie that he hoped would cause no damage. He told him that the students would be coming to be beta testers for some new inventions and that he would handle everything himself.

Yeah, he couldn't see that causing any problems.
Before he fell asleep he replied back to Elliot telling him that they could definitely meet up and asking him to arrive at the labs before the party--whether he would attend it or not.

    I'm sure it's real.

Her voice was sharper than she intended, but it was a necessary coldness. It kept the memories away. She swallowed the last bit of the scone and got up to throw her trash away.

It had truly been an enjoyable outing, despite the mention of the email. She hoped to do it again sometime soon. When they got back to the dorm hall, Bronagh and Nora bid their farewells to Bernie (Eleanora decided to let her keep her jacket for an excuse to visit her again soon). Once inside the warm room, she slipped out of her shoes, took a short shower, drank some tea and hopped into bed for the night.

I had fun today, Bronagh. Thanks for going out with us...

Her voice was quiet as she snuggled deeper into her blankets.

    Sleep well. Good night.

    And into dreamland she went.

Vhy did yuu ah-sk abuut strange emails bevor? Did yuu git zohmething strange too?

She nearly choked on her scone when asked the question. Her face went red as she wiped the corners of her mouth and took a small sip of the piping hot latte to help clear her throat.

Her blue eyes darted to Bronagh for some kind of distraction but she seemed to not want to get involved. With a small smile, Eleanora came to the conclusion that being honest--but vague--would be the best approach. She hated this weird back and forth thing within herself, but she was scared. Wasn't that normal?

U-um...Yes, actually. I got a strange email quite some time ago and a lot of others did, too. I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but I'm convinced now that it-it's legitimate...There were a list of names in it. I don't remember if I saw your's, though...

Mentally scorning herself for stuttering and for possibly revealing too much, she diverted her gaze and took another sip of her coffee.

    Update;

Only Kitty is colored. Music was supposed to be starting on the 1st, but I really need some help here? Everyone kind of ... disappeared. Everyone minus Kitty needs to be colored. If you have the extra time and can do it, please help. Like, really, please, please, please. So far no one besides Dinny who is signed up to help for coloring has actually done so. I need help. Kind of bummed out. Things may have be worked out differently if it's so inconsistent.

You sure you won't be cold in that, Bernie? I'll bring an extra coat just in case.

She wasn't sure that it would fit the girl, but she didn't want Bernadette to freeze. Unfortunately they were still in winter and though the snow was finally stopping, the air remained icy and dry. She grabbed an extra coat of her's from the small closet and handed it to Bernie.

There were a few options they had, regarding what to eat, mostly on campus...To be honest, though, Nora didn't feel exactly...safe on campus anymore. She thought a change of scenery would be nice. The only setback was that she didn't have a car and thought it would be rude of her to ask either of them for a ride when she had invited them out. There had been a recent accident on the monorail and a bus didn't seem too appealing, either.

On second thought, maybe staying at the campus would be better. She wondered passively if she would have to live her life in fear from now on.

So, out of the door and through the halls they went until they were outside in the cold. The breath of fresh air was nice but she was happy to know that the cafe was not too far from them. Once there, she let them both order and got herself a small vanilla latte and a scone to start off with. They found a seat by one of the windows.

You know each other already? That's great!...Hey, I was thinking...Would you guys like to go out for breakfast together or something?

Just one step after the other...She could do this. It was a strange thing to think about...Just a few months ago, she had a family, and a beautiful home. Now she had none of that, but there were people to talk to and friends being made. Abandoning the whole 'witch' act had really done her nothing but good. Karen had said she was comping with things amazingly and she had to admit she was a bit proud of herself.

It was also a relief to see that Bronagh and Bernie had already met. She just hoped she wouldn't end up feeling like the third wheel.

    Bernie...? Berrrrnie. Bernadette.

With a tilt of her head and a frown, Nora gently reached out to poke the sleeping girl's shoulder before leaning in closer in an attempt to wake her. She herself hadn't been awake to for too long. The accident must have caused more stress in them both than she had thought. They had spent most of their time together sleeping. It was a nice, quiet, relaxing day yesterday. Though usually bustling with excess energy, she had to admit that it was a nice change of pace.

Nora was also relieved to see that Bronagh had returned home safely. She thought that maybe it would be a fun time to go out together and get some breakfast. Unfortunately, she was the only one dressed and they were both still asleep. Somewhat impatiently, she dragged herself to the kitchen table and tapped on her shoulder.

Um, Bronagh? Wakey, wakey? Oh dear...

The poor girl must have gotten drunk or something last night. Eleanora wondered if she was alright...

Nine dead. Nine. Luckily, as he scanned the names the news had released, Elliot was not among them.He was beginning to notice something. Sure, Brookridge had always been pretentious and obnoxious...But it wasn't until the Bells had showed up that total chaos was unleashed. It was terrible...and he doubted it was just pure coincidence. At first he had pondered the possibility of one of them being a rich, genius murderer... but then he remembered the email he had gotten and couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with that. What made no sense, though, was that even if it did have something to do with it, it wouldn't explain why things were relatively normal before they showed up.

Maybe, he wondered, the 'curse' (or whatever) followed the highest population of people. Maybe, terrible things happened wherever most of those who were plagued by this thing were. If that were the case, he needed to move far, far, far away.

And honestly? Fuck school! Whoever was going about their lives normally was sick in the head. How could anyone focus or be bothered to do ANYTHING with this shit going on? He was surprised the Bellhurst kids hadn't moved themselves into an underground bunker...Though, knowing this 'curse', it'd probably end up flooding or something. He almost snickered, but then realized that he was apart of this whole thing, too.

WELCOME HOME, JAMES...WOULD YOU LIKE ANYTHING?

KIERA's static filled voice interrupted him. He plucked another cherry out of the fruit bowl he carried into the room with him and plopped down on the edge of his bed. He had never spent so much time at Antilum before. It made him sick, but his father was loving it.

Yes, actually. Get me the names of all of the students involved in the recent helicopter crash...

    ...YES, OF COURSE.

Also, dig me up some information on Bellhurst. That flood, specifically. Any students who were majorly affected there would be excellent. Deaths, too.

    PROCESSING REQUESTS...

And Kiera? While I'm waiting...Tell me a story.

Dragging his body back towards the headboard, he took a grape onto his tongue and closed his eyes.

EXCELLENT. ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A LITTLE GIRL NAMED RHIA...

The Elliot x Cherno x Olivia thing needs to be done with...like, now. I have tried to be ~ patient ~ but this whole thing has been dragging on for like nineteen days and it was said to be getting wrapped up twice before now. I don't really know what's going on with this post at all so if this is supposed to be the ending to the subplot and everything is back to normal and they're all back on campus then please explain what's up and clarify for me, otherwise you have 24 hours from this point to end everything.

48 hour mark is back. If you would have missed the mark had it still counted, look out.

Of course she had gotten an email. Nora wasn't surprised, though she was concerned. She nodded slowly and finished the rest of her tea in silence, deciding not to push the subject any further, just in case. Maybe they could keep hinting at it and she would come to a conclusion.

As the minutes wore on between them, the brunette couldn't help but to feel a tinge of paranoia rising up in her. If people were dying...What if something happened to Bernie? Her heart ached. It was a familiar feeling. A quick look around confirmed that Bronagh had still not gotten home. This worried her too but was unfortunately out of her control.

Her voice was soft and shy. She was afraid of coming off too strongly, but she was more afraid of something else terrible happening. It would bring her a lot more comfort if Bernie stayed. Since classes are out, would you mind having a sleep over with me? I'm sure my room mate will be okay with it! You can have my bed, and I'll sleep on the floor? I don't mind! You don't have to stay, of course.

Zeep over...? Ja. Danke. Suunds like fun. Yuu don't have to zeep on da floor. We cuud share. I don't mind.

    Good! Wonderful.

And so Nora helped set everything up for bed. She cleared the tea away, took her medication and gave Bernie some pajamas of her own to wear. She left it up to her new friend to decide which way she'd sleep (facing her or the other way around), before relaxing and falling asleep herself.

Softly, she sighed. The touch sent a comfortable warmth through her body and she felt her anxiety lessen. She was happy not to be alone, though she was still greatly distracted by the world colorful around her. Karen had told her this would take time, but to relapse after such a short period...It was discouraging. Luckily, the whistling of the tea kettle broke through her thoughts.

Honestly, she was surprised but grateful to see how comfortable Bernie was getting up and navigating through her dorm. It made her feel more at ease, like they were closer than they probably should have been given the short amount of time they had known each other.

    I really glahd yuu okay,

    She smiled.

As the energetic blonde gathered the cups, Nora pulled out a bin of shortbread cookies she had gotten for the blizzard and set them in the center of the kitchen table with the kettle on top of an oven mit, and honey and sugar.

She sat back down and took a cookie into her mouth, savoring the crunch that came after. There was a comfortable silence between as she let her tea cool. Slowly, she brought her tingling fingers back down to the table and drummed them gently, as if playing an invisible piano.

    Hey, Bernie...?

Eek. How was she supposed to say this? Suddenly not caring about burning her tongue, she brought her cup to her lips and sipped the naturally sweet, deep pink tea, attempting to gather her thoughts. When she was done, she gazed up again.

❝...Have you gotten any strange email lately?

Guud Morgen. Yuu not know? No clahssez tuuday. Um...Neun schtu-dents ver found dead dis Morgen.

Her eyebrows knitted in concentration as she struggled to digest what Bernie was trying to say. When she was through gathering her thoughts, her pink face went pale and she stood there frozen. The entire atmosphere shifted and spun around her, and a familiar chorus of hushed voices reverberated in her skull. No one else could hear them, she remembered, and their words were never clear. Before she knew she was crazy, she referred to the voices as ambiance of the spirit world. They were once constant background noise to all that she did.

People were dead. Who? Did this have to do with CRESTATIA?

    M-may E...I?

    ...Oh! How rude.

She stepped back into her room and allowed Bernadette inside with an apology. Her toes pressed into the warmth of her shoes as she dragged herself into the kitchen to make two cups of tea. Whether Bernie accepted or not was her choice, but it would be rude not to offer her anything.

With the stove on and the kettle waiting, Eleanora maneuvered back around to the small kitchen area and sat down, offering Bernie a seat as well.

Truth be told, she was struggling with what to say. She was concerned and frightened and...curious as to how the nine had perished. Her heart beat quickened and her head ached. Nine dead. That was a lot. Had she known any of them? Yes, death was sad. Death was painful--and eternal--andreal.

I'm sorry to hear that...about the students.

There was a genuine tinge of disappointment in her soft voice, but her face didn't reflect it. Instead, wide blue eyes locked onto Bernadette to observe the beautiful turquoise glow surrounding her. Another thing everyone she had ever known was oblivious to. How lonely. The tips of her fingers flooded with warmth as she struggled to stay oblivious to the bright, dancing world around her.

    I-I-'m glad you're alright, though.

She bit her tongue as the tea kettle whistled.
