~~Tristan Town~~ Almost as soon as the girl piloting the black mecha, whom Ribbons and Char both seemed to recognise, had finished speaking, several rifle shots were fired towards her from closer to the ground. This in itself was not strange, but the fact that none of the enemy units on the ground had such weapons was. Ribbons apparently thought so too, as he quickly stopped in his tracks in order to discover just who was firing on them. Instantly, his cocky smirk faded, being replaced with an expression of both anger and confusion, as he realised what had happened. "If things are getting boring for you, then perhaps this will make things more interesting." Char said, as he leapt up to the girl's level and fired a few shots; knowing full well they would miss due to TheEnd's speed and agility. "The Spiral King's world is wrong, Anemone! All should be free to choose where they live; be it underground, on the surface, or amongst the stars. No man, king or otherwise, has the right to change that!" "Char... you complete fool. If you believe something like that, you truly are an imbecile. I must say, I'm very disappointed." Ribbons said, unleasing a barrage of rifle fire towards the Hyaku Shiki, which quickly sidestepped each of them, before Gundam 00 resumed it's assault on him, catching him off-guard and claiming one of the 0 Gundam's arms. "Damn! I should have expected this of my successor..." Puru Two was confused as anything within this whole mess. As she redirected her Funnels to take the brunt of the Rust Hurricane, she thought over everything. It just didn't make any sense to her; Char had always seemed to be fairly righteous, but she didn't think he would turn on the Spiral King. Part of her was envious of his confidence. She was all too aware of what doing such a thing could result in, and as far as she could tell, Char didn't care one bit about what the Spiral King could do, while she continued to have no choice in the matter. Her head began to hurt. Thinking too much always did this. It was part of her physiology as a Cyber-Newtype, but knowing that certainly didn't do anything to settle it. "Ugh... my head..." she groaned quietly to herself in the cockpit, clutching at it with her hand. "Is this... because of him? Is he trying to read me?" she asked herself, before turning up her volume significantly. "Stop it! Stop confusing me! Get out of my head, get out getoutGETOUT!" she began to scream, as the Qubeley rushed towards the Hyaku Shiki from it's position, leaving the Funnels to be destroyed in the last part of Rust Hurricane, and grabbing ahold of the golden Mobile Suit, where she began slamming her fists into it's chest repeatedly, attempting to destroy the cockpit outright. "Puru Two, what are you doing? We were on the wrong side; surely you must know that!" Char spoke to her, trying to reason with the girl. "Shut up! Just leave me alone, I'm sick of people like you!" "You're making a mistake. The Spiral King can't help you, but I can. I know what you are, I know how you must feel--" "You don't know anything! Just die already!" "Sorry chick, but there's only room for one killer here today!" a voice suddenly spoke, as an orange jet-like vehicle appeared behind the Seravee Gundam. "TRANS-AM!" The orange vehicle transformed, changing into what was very obviously another Gundam; Arios. Emitting a storm of orange sparks behind it as it did so, it drew it's beam saber and slammed into the Qubeley, dragging it to the floor where there pair of Mobile Suits then began to stuggle, as Puru Two grabbed ahold of the other unit's arms, neither pilot willing to let the other get away. "Fight for your life, or lose it! THAT IS THE WAY OF A SUPER SOLDIER!" Spoiler: ENTER ~~Lexicon Dimension~~ The man chuckled to himself at Dopellganger's answer, before considering for a moment. "Just killing you like this would be easy. There's no challenge to it, and there's no point to it." He said, a grin on his face. "Return the fragment of the human's soul you took, and I will allow you to leave now to recover and increase your strength, demon, that we may face each other in a true battle one day!" The beast that Gaioh had brought with him watched with interest, apparently more so in the people near it than the people fighting. It actually looked quite vicious, but it seemed to be controlled at the very least. ~~Savannah - 0^2~~ The second Zero let out a short chuckle as the first was put onto the screen of the Ikaruga, his smile being obvious even behind the helmet. "It would seem so, boy." he said, possibly adding some emphasis on the last word, as though to confirm something between them. He turned for a moment before speaking to somebody off-screen "Traiya, have everyone launch, and ready my Knightmare. We're putting all we have into this operation." "Sir." "I'll add my forces to yours now, Zero. Rest assured; we know of the pla--" the second Zero stated, as the feed cut off, and was replaced by what could only be described as a giant spiky turtle. "Traiya, get that thing off the screens immedietely, it's hideous." Zero stated, as he turned and headed towards the hangar of the Ikaruga. ~Ikaruga Hangar~ "--not a single DM out there, why should we head out too?!" a girl's voice could be heard to say, as she argued with two others in the hangar bay about whether or not they should also launch. "Esther, it doesn't matter what's out there, we have to trust in Zero and do our bit." the elder of the two men there stated, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder reassuringly. "As soon as we're done, we can come back and relax all you want. Sound fair?" the other, younger male stated, in a fairly cheerful tone. The girl groaned in response, understanding that the decision had already been made, and there was little point to arguing. "Fine then, what are we doing still here? Let's get out there and kick the crap out of some Reapers already!" "...she certainly changes her tone quickly." "You're telling me." the older male replied again, before climbing into his mecha, the Brasta, as the girl did the same with Brasta-ES, the prototype mass-production version of the former. "Crowe Broust, launching in Brasta." the older male, Crowe, stated to Ikaruga as the mecha left the hangar on it's wings. "Esther Elhas, launching in Brasta-ES!" the girl announced straight afterwards, taking off just behind him, ready to provide whatever support the pair were needed to fulfill. Spoiler: ENTER "This is Zero, launching in Gawain." the leader stated from behind the last of the three, heading out in the especially strong Knightmare unit, the Gawain, named after the Arthurian knight of legend, and not actually related the the Gawain that's actually in Cove already. Spoiler: Especially appropriately named music ~~Snowscape~~ In the snowy landscape, where the firefight had been going on previously, a newcomer was engaging in combat with the Ikari family; specifically Shinji, whose enhanced strength and speed made him the perfect counter to the man who had introduced himself as Kittan. At least, that had been the intention. The fact was that enhanced or not, Shinji was struggling to do anything, even as backed up by his mother and father, who were both fairly heavily armed. "Who is this guy..." he muttered to himself, recovering from a fairly nasty punch he had recieved in the gut. "He's faster and stronger than me, and I hold an Eva..." Laughing hard, Kittan looked at the boy with slight impress. "You ain't all that bad kid, but beating chumps like you is in my blood. You're do--" Before Kittan could finish, he was suddenly cut off by a great black machine sprouting from the ground underneath him, one of the massive drills poking him right in a place that was particularly uncomfortable for him, causing him to yell out in both surprise and pain, as he leap high into the air, where he seemed to just vanish. "Yo, Guy. I think your tank hit something." a voice said from where the machine had come from. "Air. It hit air." "You can't hit air." "WELL TELL THAT TO THE MACHINE, KID, BECAUSE WE DID!" "No, I think we hit somebody." "Well shit, that's going to take hours to clean off." During this cacophany, a group emerged from the hole, consisting of more people than I can be bothered to mention. Spoiler: RE-ENTER "Yo. New kid." Kamina said to Shinji, having instantly just assumed he would be joining them in the near future. "You see what we hit?" "Uh... yeah. I was just fighting him." "Well crap. Hey Guy, what do we do when we accidently kill a bad dude?" "We what?!" "No, he sort of... launched into the air. Definitely still alive." "Oh. False alarm bud, seems like he got away to kill again." "What?!" "Now this is interesting." Gendo said, approching DrillGao with curiosity in his eyes. "Some kind of mining machine, that much is clear, but why does it have two drills? A two-in-one vehicle, perhaps?" "Yeah, it can split into two and drill two tunnels at a time. The fact that it's one vehicle that splits means that both halves can be set to be perfectly parallel with one another, so you can drill two indentical tunnels in parallel." Guy replied. "Very clever. I'd love to have it analysed." "If anybody will be analysing, it'll be me, big boy." "Is nobody going to point out how wrong that sounds coming from him?"
