It's the Spheres. They're basically powers that will be somewhat plot relevant in the near future. Loki or Lelouch was what I was hoping for. It's yours, of course.
Excellent. Been using her in SRW, and she's somewhat important to the plot of it. I may do something similar in Cove.
Yes, thank you. Meanwhile, I have somebody to introduce, it seems. Username: Nagisa Adelheid Character of Choice: Algol Picture(optional): Spoiler: KING OF COURTROOMS Spoiler: Hero King Game/Anime/Etc. the Character is from: Soulcalibur Additional Info: Algol, also known as "The Hero King," was able to obtain Soul Edge and, with an indomitable will, avoided being controlled by it. According to the legend, he used the sword to spread peace among the lands. His son, Arcturus, jealous of his father's power, took Soul Edge, unaware of its malevolent properties, and was possessed. Algol battled and defeated his son with a fatal strike. Remorseful after his son's death, Algol desired to create a sword to counter the evil within Soul Edge. The legend says that, using purified shards obtained from the battle with his son and the assistance of various sages, Algol was able to create Soul Calibur after many failed attempts and the sacrifice of his own life. However, the "successful" ritual produced unexpected results: the blade created was extremely similar in nature to Soul Edge due to the restlessness in Algol's soul. The tribe that was tasked with the protection of the new sword slowly purified it, sealing the Hero King's soul, keeping his thirst for power dormant over the centuries. Reincarnated into modern-day times, Algol lives by the philosophy that even Hero Kings have to pay bills, and as it turns out that the Tower of Rememberance has a huge electricity bill, he took on a well-paying job as a Defence Attorney.
~~Tristan Town; Gundam Fight!~~ Only seconds after the battle had begun, the grey-brick Mobile Suit piloted by Hiling Care had it's face kicked in by a small animal. "What the--?!" Hiling sputtered as her main camera flickered to nothing. "Damn you! Screwing around like this, you think it's a game?! I'll send the lot of you to hell!" It seemed as though the normally-coniving girl had already lost her cool, which was unsurprising being as her giant robot was being bullied by an adorable creature the size of a handbag. As she spoke, several units the size of said handbag flew in from the side, bright yellow in colouration, matching the underside of Puru Two's unit, the Qubeley MkII. Flying much faster than any of the surrounding Mobile Suits, the small machines began firing at Classic Shadow, being able to keep up with his speed enough to only narrowly miss each time. If things kept up, he would be in serious trouble. The main Qubeley unit, meanwhile, was rapidly flying towards the similarly-sized Mazinger Z, drawing two beam sabers as it landed, and swinging them in a X at the machine. She had already realised, from a couple of test shots, that the two Mazinger units were made of some kind of allow that protected it from most attacks, but she suspected that a blade made of superheated plasma energy would have an easier time of carving through it, if still not that easy. The 0 Gundam responded to the 00's charge by drawing it's own beam saber, throwing up the weapon's blade to block the one Setsuna was using. "Come now, is that all you have? I was expecting somebody who wants to become Gundam to have more than this to back them up." Ribbons taunted, as he drew a second blade and swung it at the 00, only to narrowly miss as several bullets of lightning fizzed past him. "Mages too? You do keep interesting company." Char, meanwhile, had chosen to pursue the two ranged Gundams, backed up by several Geara Doga units, taking several shots at the pair before also closing in the gap with a beam saber, still holding his rifle in the opposite hand. Unlike his comrades, Char remained silent, focusing on the battle more than combat taunts and idle threats. ~~Sky Sanctuary - Outside Toilet Prison~~ As Kalecgos approached the circle on the ground, it grew brighter, shining a bright blue, before suddenly exploding in the man's face, filling the most-definitely-not-a-toilet-but-infact-a-prison-cell with a thick blue smoke. Spoiler: Music As the smoke settled, in the circle's place sat a young girl with pink hair, an elegant outfit, and sporting two furry animal ears from the top of her head. Opening her eyes slowly, she stood up and looked at the blue-clad warrior with interest. After staring for a long moment, the girl finally spoke. "Yes~, you will do nicely~!" she said, bowing politely to him. "I am Caster, a Servant brought here by the Holy Grail. You summoned me here, so that makes you my Master, Master~." She took a look around at her surroundings, before looking at her new Master perplexed. "...why are we in a toilet stall?" Spoiler: ENTER ~~Lowee~~ There was suddenly a rambunctious sound of something heavy landing behind the group in the courtroom, causing them to turn and see the cause of the commotion. Somehow a giant golden chair had appeared in the middle of the room, and sitting upon it was a white-haired man with impeccible taste in suits, and a large mark that may-or-may-not be a scar over his eye. "Order in the courtroom, mortals, for you stand before the Hero King Algol; King of Courtrooms!" he demanded, standing from his seat and approaching the front of the room. "Who dares be my first case of the day?" Spoiler: ENTER
Could I ask you to have the name include "Scorpion" somewhere? It would just make it fit in with the current name scheme a little better, that's all.
I would say she could do both, but probably using other people's memories is harder to do? Anyway, working on a post right now, sorry for not posting the past couple of days, had things to do.
It probably wouldn't be a permanent fixation, just one that comes up sometimes.
I don't know about that. It seems like that's not really a drawback, and the whole thing seems a bit forced. It should ideally only have a direct effect on your own characters.
Let me know what you can come up with tomorrow.
Don't waste the Sphere. If you can't come up with something decent for Nyx, give it to a different one of your characters. But we're not having...
A drawback could be that they can become fixated on things they like, to the point where it can be obsession. It'd include people too. There's a...
Okay... that doesn't seem very useful a Sphere.
Dreams may be good, but Aries aren't traditionally liars, and Aquarius's don't tend to be able to give life to things.
If you want him, feel free to take him. No sense in me commiting to something when I don't know when I'll get around to playing the source material yet. Plan to, yes. Don't know when. When I have a bit more money, I guess.
I've been considering it, even though I haven't played Darksiders yet.
It would likely have something to do with water, the flow of water, or something else associated with water. Healing might be a good one, but...
Just want to point out that The Bonded Twins is the only Sphere that can be held by two people, on account that it's The Twins. All others only have one holder.
Hm... an interesting drawback. I like it a lot. Sounds like you're set then.
Have a look at the Star Sign's general traits maybe, to get some ideas of what it tends to represent. It doesn't have to be anything to do with that, but it's just something you may find inspiration from.
