Assassin's Creed is boring because the gameplay's been the same thing since AC2 but they try to make up for it with little mini games like tower defense in Revelations, and naval combat in AC3. It's the Call of Duty of action/adventure games. I haven't played Skylanders but just looking at it, it's easy to tell that it's bad.
