Right, that dream was just a reflection of what she wanted to happen, followed by what she didn't want to happen. And then some. Still, I...
No, that's not what that meant. What he was basically that they both knew that the kiss was a sign of him saying he loved her. Good observation,...
Dayamn. Way to go Thoma. Well, I just partly predicted the future in Genome's dream. He's really gonna get mind****ed when all this stuff that...
I saw. And it was awesome. I'm guessing Thoma broke out of the nightmare then?
-Yoko's Nightmare- BGM: Rap Was a Man's Soul...Right? Yoko shot up from what seemed to be sleep. She stepped out from her sleeping quarters at Littner Village, and saw that everything was how it should be. Except...Kamina was nowhere to be seen. Simon was alone in his and Kamina's sleeping quarters. As she stepped outside, she could see Kamina looking out into the distance. "Kamina? What're you doing out here?" She got no answer. "Kamina?" She stepped up behind him, grabbed his shoulder and turned him around. When he turned around, he had a smile on his face. "Kamina, what're you-" Kamina cut her of with a kiss. For Yoko, time seemed to have stopped. It was so unexpected, yet...She didn't want it to end. When it finally did, Yoko looked into Kamina's eyes. "W-What was...?" "Do I need a reason? Besides...I think we both know full well what I mean by that." Yoko blushed and laughed. She knew exactly what he was talking about. "Yeah...We do. So..." "Yeah?" "What're you doing out here so late?" "Couldn't sleep. I was looking forward to kicking more Beastman butt!" "Well, well. You're as confident as ever. Glad to know that coming to the surface hasn't made you lose your nerve." ... There was silence. *Music ends* Yoko looked at Kamina and noticed something...He had a gaping hold in his torso! "Yoko...Why?" "But I didn't-" Yoko gasped. She looked down again to see the barrel of her gun aiming right at Kamina, smoke coming from the barrel. "I-I thought...You L-lov..." Kamina fell over and died. Yoko dropped her rifle and covered her mouth with her hands. "How...When did I..." "Bro!!!" Simon had come outside and noticed Kamina's body, running over and sitting down on his kneed next to Kamina. "Yoko! Why did you do this!? What did Bro ever do to you!?" "Simon...I...I didn't..." "You killed bro...Even though he loved you, you killed him!" Simon stood back up and turned to Yoko, a look of pure hatred in his eyes. Screaming, Simon charged at Yoko, tackling her to the ground. "You killed Bro! You killed Bro! YOU KILLED BRO!!!" Before Yoko could even say anything, Simon gripped his Core Drill, which was followed by his entire right hand turning into a large Core Drill. "And now I'm gonna KILL YOU!!!" "Simon, Stop!" The drill went straight for Yoko's head, followed by... Darkness. -Genome's Nightmare; Part 2- BGM: Libera Me From Hell Genome and his nightmare-induced future self stared each other down. "It's pitiful to think that I was once an overconfident brat such as you." "It was because of this overconfidence that brought you to become the commander of the army back in outer space. Whatever the *********** did to you...It turned you into a monster." "A monster? If I were a monster, why would I be trying to protect this planet and it's people." "How the hell is killing innocent people protecting them!?" Lordgenome smiled at his younger self's ignorace. "You know so little. There's no way you could understand." "I don't need to understand. I just need to beat you!" Genome and Zen ran toward Lordgenome and Lazengann, before leaping into the air at him. "I'll tear out your heart, boy!" Lazengann extended several drills out at Zen, attempting to impale it. "Go ahead and try!" Zen's hands turned into drills, deflecting Lazengann's at it approached. Just as the two Gunmen were about to be face-to-face, two of Lazengann's drills started to push Zen back. "I don't think so!" The thrusters on Zen's back began to spew green flames, while Zen's forehead revealed a large drill. Lordgenome just stared at Genome through Lazengann's eyes. As Genome pushed harder and harder, the green flames slowly started turning a dark red, along with Genome's hair turning a slight red. "Take Thiiiiiis!!!" Zen busted through the drills that were pushing it back, and shot straight through Lazengann's cockpit and Lordgenome. Zen landed behind Lazengann, who exploded seconds after being impaled. "I told you...I am not now...Nor will I ever be...The Spiral King." *Music Ends* The dust settled, and the pod containing Kamina, Simon and Yoko came into view. Zen began to slowly walk over the the pod when... *CRACK* A long black drill extended from the smoke, going straight through Zen and Genome. "W-What!?" They were pushed into the wall on the other side of the room. While Genome bled to death, he saw the Spiral King standing next to the pod. One of his hands had literally turned into a drill. The same drill that had just impaled Genome. "B-But...I just..." "Defeated me? Hardly." Lordgenome's other hand turned into a three-pronged pitchfork, each prong being a drill. "N-No...I won't..." Without another word, each of the drill-prongs stabbed straight through the pod, and the members of Team Dai-Gurren as well. A look of sadness and disappointment was seen on all three of their faces. "G-Genome...You were supposed...To win..." "Why, Genome...W-Why...?" Genome began to cry at the sight of this...He couldn't stand it...Yet he couldn't look away. Yoko, however, was the most heart-wrenching. As the life was drained out of her, tears began to roll down her face while she looked at Genome. "Kamina...Simon...Y-Yoko...I'm sorry..." Genome's sight began to fade, and the last thing he heard as his senses failed him...Was the maniacal laughter of the Spiral King.
Well, you told me you were ready to post it. I thought you meant you were waiting for something.
Let me just wrap up Yoko's nightmare and I'll be done. Or you can post it now if it doesn't depend on my post.
Ooh, now you've got me excited!
Alright. I'm sure he'll come up with some particularly interesting nightmares. Awesome, thanks.
Eh, either way I've already started. Might as well finish it. Also, there's nothing wrong with me using Libera Me From Hell in my post, is there?
Oh, alright. Guess I'll get started then. I'll try and get this one done with quickly.
I want to finish Genome's nightmare...But God knows how much more I'll end up typing... Anyway; How's it going?
Awesome. Awesomer. ...Eww...
I decided a long time ago that I wanted to keep the transitions strictly to Gurren Lagann characters, since that's the series that the transition...
Yeahp. Thank you very much. c:
iasdfilyhbfulh MOAR HEDAYKS. I'll go edit it real quick.
I just edited that, lol. It was originally just Yoko, but I decided to throw Kamina and Simon in there too.
Genome's dream...It was so long...And it's not even finished...Balls, what have I gotten myself into?
Posted. Holy **** that was the longest thing I've ever typed...And it was only part 1.
~Minutes before...~ Yoko sighed as she was examined by female Kamina and Simon(e). "They may be girls...But they're as 'manly' as ever..." She smiled slightly. "T-Thanks...?" Yoko said, replying to Kamina's comment about her chest. Kamina then moved over to Genome, giving him a Super-Noogie for calling Kokuren Lagann a rip-off. "Mmph! MMPH!" Kamina then let go, Genome's face coming out from Kamina's chest. Genome inhaled greatly. "Ouch..." He said, rubbing his head. Just then, Gretchen descended from the sky in a storm. Genome was going to go get Zen, but decided against it when Nono was tossed to the side like nothing. "What the hell..." Genome was hesitant to move. He would surely be impaled if he did. She turned to him, a wide grin on her face, and spoke the following words: "Tell me. How are you enjoying my world, Spiral King? Or did you think that you actually belonged here, with them?" Spiral King. The name Genome hated the most, and he was being referred to as it. "Spiral King!? What the hell are you talking about!? I am NOT the Spiral King!" Without giving an answer, she turned to Yoko. "And you, foolish girl. Don't you know that you can never have what your heart already aches for?" Moments later, with words echoing across the planet, she forced everyone to sleep. ~Genome's Nightmare~ Genome 'awoke' in a playground in his home town, surrounded by four animals, a bird, a scorpion, a small gorilla, and his pet armadillo Guame, who was sitting on his shoulder. The sun was setting with a bright orange. Genome, Guame and all of the other little animals looked to the sunset. "Guess we should better head home soon, huh?" He said, assuming that the events on Disgaea were a dream. "Gua..." Just then, a loud boom was heard from the other side of the city. Genome stood up from the spiral rock he sat on as the the source revealed itself. It was an enormous explosion. "What the...!?" The explosion grew larger and larger, coming closer to him quickly. Grabbing Guame, Genome jumped from the spiral perch he sat upon, his back to the explosion, hiding behind the same rock he was sitting on moments before. He could only hope that the stone spiral was enough to protect him from the blast. Little did Genome know, that the entire planet was being bombarded with these explosions from an unknown source in space. In mere moments, the city was gone, leaving nothing but smoldering rubble in it's place. "The city...I-It's gone..." From that point, time seemed to have skipped ahead slightly, bringing Genome and Guame to a large crater in the ground. At the very bottom of the crater was a small face that seemed very familiar to Genome. It was his Gunman, Zen. "Zen, there you are! Hop on, Guame. We're gonna go get it." "Gua!" Guame crawled up onto Genome's shoulder before Genome slid down into the crater and dug Zen out from the dirt. Standing Zen up, Genome and Guame got into the cockpit. "Let's hope it still works...Wait...Where's my Core Drill!?" The familiar sound of a glowing Core Drill came from the ignition, which already had a Core Drill in it. "But I never put that in there...Oh, well." Genome turned the drill and Zen sprung to life. Time seemed to skip forward again, as Genome seemed to have recruited an army of Gunman pilots to combat the threat in space. Genome stood on an elevated hill, looking down at his army in his newly-formed Lazengann. "Spiral Warriors! I've gathered you all here today because we all have a common goal! We all want nothing more to protect our home, the Planet Earth!" Upon hearing his words, the army cheered, motivated by his speech. "Now, let's take to the sky, where the moon shines through the vastness of space!" Again, time skipped forward. This time it looked as if years had passed. Genome's once small army was now expanded into a fleet of countless battleships, with Genome leading it on his personal battleship, the Cathedral Terra. "Dai-Lazengann! Spin on! Who the hell do you think I am!?" He called, his booming adult voice echoing across the stars. The fleet began to move forward, until they came into contact with the enemy. "Open fire! Blow every last one of those damn things out of existance!" "Yes sir, commander Lordgenome!" "I told you, Cocono, call me Genome. Just because I'm your commanding officer doesn't change that we're blood brothers." "You got it, Genome." Genome's blood brother said, arms crossed and smiling. Countless explosions lit the vastness of outer space. "Keep up the fire! I'm going out there in Dekabutsu." "Woah, hold on there, Genome! It's pretty heated out there. You sure Dekabutsu can handle it?" "Don't worry. I'm not gonna let some putrid scum like that take me out." Genome turned around to get Dekabutsu, only to be met with the sight of a strange looking figure trying to persuade him to give up. Genome refused. The figure then went on to show Genome how little of a chance his army had. Whatever he was being shown, it left him with a look of sheer terror. When the visions finally ended, Genome went into a state of absolute despair. The figure simply grinned and disappeared. Spoiler: BGM "Yo, Genome? You okay?" "Fall back." "Excuse me?" "Tell the fleet to fall back. It's too late for us now." Cocono, but he stood up to Genome. "No." Genome turned around, a dark gaze in his eyes. "You dare defy your commanding officer!?" "I'm not just gonna tell everyone to fall back-HRGH!" Genome picked the Cocono up by his uniform collar. "If you do not order the fleet to fall back, then I will stop them myself!" "...No, Lordgenome. Not after we've come this far." "Then you leave me no choice." Genome dropped the his friend and went to the lower deck of the ship where Dekabutsu was. He entered the Gunman's upper cockpit, when an announcement was made. "Warning! All hands! Commander Lordgenome has betrayed us! Stop whatever he is doing immediately! Repeat-" "Fool." Dekabutsu began running through the inside of the warship, attempting to get to it's main source of power. Several other Gunmen surrounded Dekabutsu. "You should have listened to me. We cannot win this!" The other Gunmen charged Genome, ignoring his words. "You are fools every, last one of you!" Genome, using a mixture of drills and swords, cut through the other Gunmen with little effort. After he disposed of them, Genome ran towards the power core, merging Dekabutsu with it via a drill. After they merged, they formed one giant Gunman from the warship; Cathedral Lazengann. Using one of the Gunman's most powerful attacks, Genome cut straight through his own fleet and back to his home planet. He landed Cathedral Lazengann atop the planet, which had been stripped of all life. Using the power core of the warship that was now Cathedral Lazengann, Genome created a new civilization. Time skipped one last time, and Genome was now a full-grown adult. He had bred new species of evolved animals that he called "Beastmen". He then sat within Cathedral Lazengann's power core, now named Tepellin, on a spiral throne, Guame at his side. He had become the one thing he always feared. The Spiral King. Lordgenome's chest began to glow. Suddenly, a small child appeared before him. It was Lordgenome as a child. "How dare you approach me, child. Do you have any idea who I am?" "You really have forgotten. You've become the one thing we fought so hard to defeat. You sicken me." Lordgenome chuckled. "I suggest you watch your tongue, boy. You wouldn't want anything to happen to the ones you care for..." Yoko, Kamina and Simon appeared in a glass pod next to Lordgenome's throne. "Yoko! Kamina! Simon! You let them go!" "A mere child commanding the Spiral King? What a joke." "I'm not laughing, dumbass! You let them go or else!" Just then, Zen formed around Genome, it's eyes glowing a light green. "Impressive. You are able to summon your Gunman from thin air?" "I think you forgot, 'Spiral King'. This is MY dream!" Lordgenome broke out into laughter. "That may be so, but it will soon turn into your worst nightmare!" Lazengann in it's entirety formed around Lordgenome, it's arms crossed. "Time to die, fool!" -End of Part 1- Spoiler Next time: Yoko's nightmare, and the conclusion to Genome's battle with his fears!
