I don't love this show, but I don't see anything wrong with what it's doing. On a slightly hilarious note, my sister's teacher worked on the show. I believe he was one of the main storyboarders, and he showed them a page or two about a year before the show aired.
This one is somewhat cheap, but it's over five dollars and I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for. They re-showed the first episode of FMA at 11:30 on Adult Swim. Think about this...if they show the entire series all the way through, they will be finished in August or September of next year, which is 4-5 months after the first episode of the new series aires in Japan (according to Cin, anyway). Do you think it's possible that they will start showing the new dub in about a year, once they've finished showing the original series, or I am I thinking about this way too f***ing much?
Woah, that's rough. This is a really touchy issue, so you probably feel like you have to say something, but in all honesty, it's best if you don't. All people want to feel human, and bringing a lot of attention to something like this makes them feel singled-out. The way I see it, there really isn't anything you can say to make them feel better. They are living with this condition, so I can assure you that anything you might say won't be news to them; they would have already thought about it at some point. The best thing for him is for people to treat thim like everyone else. You could go a little out of your way to make them extra happy and welcomed, but don't push it.
