I loved the original show. I loved the pre-New 52 comics. I loved most iterations of the characters on TV (Young Justice<3), except for maybe Conner on Smallville (liked the idea, not the portrayal). I loved how the New 52 showed most of the characters, though not necessarily how some of them were written (I hate you, Scott Lobdell, for what you did to my Tim). Do I love TTG? Not really. I won't go out of my way to watch it, but if I catch an episode, they are enjoyable. Like skull joke (who I think is below, but not sure. I'm done keeping up with name changes) said, it's taken their personalities from the original show and taking them to the extreme for a fun show. It's not meant to be serious. It's like...Robot Chicken, but solely Teen Titans-based. I don't understand the hate on the show itself (I mean, a good portion of the original show's episodes could easily pass as TTG episodes. Beast Boy vs. Evil Alien Tofu), but I do understand the hate on the decision to continue the show through TTG instead of a different manner. Still, it's a nice little fun show to catch an episode every now and then.
What if he blew a kiss so strong at the S that he sent around the world at superspeed until it traveled back in time and landed on someone's lip?"
What's the deal with that cellophane S thing?
What negativity?
Technically, he did.
(Talking about the show Supernatural and bringing Lucifer back into it) Spoiler I'm going to stop doing drugs and getting on Wikipedia @Aiden Pearce
Shut up.
So...it's not called Attack on Titan?
I loved this movie. My one major gripe is the the Winter Soldier was too much of a background villain (I mean, he obviously wasn't going to be the one in charge, but he's the title of the movie. Not saying I'd give him a bigger role, but I would have changed the name of the movie [but I would have loved a little more of him]). Both disappointed and pleased at the fact that Spoiler: bad guy rumor Alexander Pearce wasn't the Red Skull revived even though I'm now confused because I could have sworn the track listing had dubbed that scene that...but it also got the post-credits scene wrong so meh. But looking back, that definitely could just been a metaphor. My favorite part had to be the action. Oh my god, non-stop action. I totally didn't expect for Spoiler S.H.I.E.L.D. being thrown out the window. I would never have done or expected that. Though that gives me ideas for a script spinning off of Avengers into a Secret Avengers composed of Iron Patriot, Falcon, Lady Sif, Black Widow under a new alias (Mockingbird), and led by Maria Hill and Tony Stark (notice how I didn't say Iron Man). Hell, throw in Blonsky from Incredible Hulk if you really want to get a little crazy Obviously, Spoiler Hydra is still around. I'm wondering if they're going to be behind Ultron's corruption in Age of Ultron. Also, how was Arnim Zola not used as the Clairevoyant in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Anyways, easter eggs Spoiler -Stephen Strange? yessss. -Agents Sitwell actually having a decent role that tied into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. -Rumlow wearing a Crossbones-esque outfit and final scene was a nice little one. I missed the fact that he was supposed to resemble Crossbones' costume in comics. -Pulp Fiction/Samuel L. Jackson reference was great. -I didn't recognize him (since I have no idea what he looked like), but Ed Brubaker making a cameo as one of Bucky's scientists was such an awesome thing for them to do. -Where was Hawkeye? Even if he was on a mission, no mention at all? Apparently, they wanted him in there, but couldn't have a big enough role for him and wanted to avoid his lack of use, a la Avengers. So they put in a single line mentioning where he was, but it got cut. -lol @ the guy from Community. -It's so obvious (so obvious that they might trick us and not do it?) that Bucky will replace Steve as Cap after Captain America 3 so seeing him with the shield was pretty cool. -Why didn't they reveal Agent 13's last name as Carter? Comic-wise, she's related to Penny. -ahhhhh, the Twins. Elizabeth Olson has the part down, no word about it. Quicksilver looks pretty cool, still a bit worried how his superspeed will be shown in live-action. it's a hard thing to pull off. Also, I keep forgetting how buff his actor is and how old his wife is -Wargames Joke, Natasha? Really?
This is everyone's faults but mine.
I haven't really followed any of Marvel's big events (I want to, but I'm the kind of guy that has to buy all related issues and tie-ins and even though that's easy for DC, I'm not that interested or well-versed in all of the Marvel characters to invest that kind of money.) Well, I've followed events, but not read them. Battle of the Atom is the only one I can think of, recently, even though I started Avengers vs. X-Men when I finally decided to keep up with more than one Marvel series aside from reading select issues here and there. Regardless, Original Sin seems very interesting. Really curious to see how Nova reacts to the Watcher's death (wonder if he's the one that finds the body). I have a feeling the X-Men issues are going to deal with Beast in some way considering he was just visited by Uatu in the latest All New X-Men special. The teaser of the Fantastic Four's Original Sin with Ben tearfully beating up a depowered Johnny hit me right in the heart. I really want to invest in those issues. I can't say I'll keep up with this, but I definitely plan on buying some of the individual issues. That said, I'm wondering if the Watcher's death Spoiler is suicide. Maybe he's tired of watching such horrible events and not being able to stop them? Maybe he's disgusted by everyone else?
Sam shrugged as he turned and followed Lex. The pace was leisurely so he made sure to stay a half-step behind his classmate, enough distance to watch Lex out of the corner of his eye without being noticed. "My name? Ain't that a little complicated to answer," Sam replied, nonchalantly. He turned a corner after Lex -whose own name Sam investigated before- glancing at an approaching clock. Sam did not want to risk being late to class and he doubted Lex -as one of the misfits of late- could be late to class without strict punishment...but did they have enough time to talk? In the back of his head, Jaggerjack urged him to press forward and come out with it. "Ya see, most people, they don't want the name of the man," Sam started, now keeping his eyes away from Lex, "they want the name of the beast. Know what I mean? That's who really catches their interest." Without realizing it, Sam's pressed his left hand to his chest, slightly over his heart as Jaggerjack suddenly became quiet. "It's where nicknames come from, the ones ya enjoy and the ones ya don't. People want to know the more excitin' ya even if their preferred version of ya ain't the one ya prefer." He dropped his hand suddenly, moving his gaze right back to Lex, this time without regard to whether or not Lex noticed. "So what I'm gettin' at is this: the name of the man? Sam. Nice and simple. Sam's the one talkin' to ya. The name of the beast? Jaggerjack. A little more theatrical than divine, I think, but y'know, that's what he likes to be called. Ya remember him, right? From my performance? Big, red, and steamin'?" Sam was watching Lex closely now as they neared the classroom. "So, Lex. Which do ya prefer: Man or beast?"
"Good evening. Thank you for calling Panera Bread. My name is Bueno. What can I do for you?" I always mix it up and say "calling myPanera" because I'm used to asking for their myPanera rewards card, too. Only one person has ever replied with "You're welcome. I had a choice and I chose yours."
For whatever reason, it just cost that.
I barely make it on the 1440 I make now.
Lovely-chan<3 No, not yet xD How about you?
Shenanigans .
