Fun facts: this was my first mockup for KHV8. Llave in particular pointed out that the font for the logo was too Comic Sans-y, and it was instantly changed. View attachment 37462 ( I ****ing hate Comic Sans )
A hard drive relates to how much you can store (in terms of files, music, videos, etc.) on your computer. You mention that you're using about 200GB on your current computer with 450GB remaining, so you might not horde files like I do. For a laptop bought today (one that doesn't have an SSD), I'd say you can probably expect around 500GB - 1TB.
Gotcha, yeah. That is basically the reason I was interested (to see why people make such a fuss about it), but given what y'all have said it doesn't seem like it's for me.
This would be awesome.
I don't watch anime much at all but I hear so much about this show, should i watch it + will i enjoy it
I agree, a new computer is definitely a better option. I have a PS4 and while it's pretty awesome, it's still really early to buy one. I can't see KH3 coming out until, at the earliest, 2016 (but imo late 2017 to 2018 is more likely). You have plenty of time to save for a PS4--and there could be a price drop in that time.
Okay, so then you should be looking at gaming or high performance laptops. I forgot to ask this as well but what screen size do you prefer? I can try to come up with some suggestions based on this info. Are there any specs you're looking for in particular, too, like a specific hard drive size?
Well the major difference between the two is that the 14 is a 14" screen, whereas the 17 is a 17" screen. In terms of specs, you can choose whichever configuration you want. Is there a reason you're looking at Alienware? If you want a gaming laptop then they are something to consider, but you shouldn't feel as though you can't get certain specs (like a larger hard drive) within more everyday laptops. Alienware is just really overpriced, in my opinion, and if you're not intended to use it for gaming, then there's no reason to get something so bulky. If you'd like help with your laptop search I can definitely help out. Some questions: What do you primarily use the computer for? Web browsing? Video/image editing? Gaming? What sort of games do you play? What is your budget? Is portability a factor? (e.g. do you want to be able to easily carry it back & forth from school?) Are you comfortable looking at online retailers, or are you limited to only physical stores (and if so, which ones)?
this is my jam
It doesn't work like that. Crimes are crimes are crimes, and people need to face the repercussions of their actions. No, he didn't kill anyone, but he endangered lives and made some extremely irresponsible choices. Trying to soften his crimes by comparing them to something like murder is making excuses for his behavior. And really, I wish that a guy like this didn't have fans. He is setting an awful example for what is a primarily teenage fanbase.
It's not difficult at all. You just have to slide the PCI card into the slot--it's like installing RAM, pretty much. The only thing you have to worry about is static, though that can be mitigated with a wrist strap.
I wrote a pretty extensive post comparing some of the major players in capture cards: http://kh-vids.net/threads/searching-for-a-good-quality-capture-card.143132/#post-4128481 The Blackmagic Intensity Pro definitely has the name recognition and it's probably the best internal solution (and it's not difficult to install), but imo there is a negligible quality difference if any between the other products. However, an internal card will always be faster & more faithful than something that has to travel through a USB port.
I CAN'T DECIDE IF I SHIP IT OR NOT, What Was Missing is definitely my favorite episode so far and there are some hardcore lezzie vibes in...
On the contrary, this is an extremely serious crime. From the article it looks like they were blocking off traffic, inconveniencing everyone in the area; on top of that, driving while intoxicated is one of the most reckless and foolhardy decisions a person can make. I may just have a personal reaction to it because my mom was injured very badly by a drunk driver (she could've been killed, really), but I have no respect for anyone caught driving under the influence of anything--not to mention that Bieber was apparently in a GROUP of people in similar states. And of course, he'll get off the hook because he's rich & famous. It's a long time coming, though. His behavior has been erratic for ages now, and it's pretty much public knowledge that he's on drugs. I do wish he had someone to intervene on him, but he's getting into real, major trouble now. It's unfortunate that this happens to so many child stars.
It depends. There are some cheap ones out there, but they're hit or miss--there's a particular one where it's all a matter of chance whether you get the one that strips HDCP or not. I'll send you the links over Skype since they're not technically legal. c;
I've always felt closer to Augustus Gloop, really.
I'm actually the only original staff member left. Mark wasn't hired until 2007 or 2008. I TOOK THE REST OUT.
If you're capturing off the PS3 I highly recommend getting an HDCP stripper so that you can use the HDMI signal. It's a noticeable quality difference. I can share some of my settings with ya if you want too ~
Yeah, it's really beautifully designed. It's important to be aware that it's USB powered, so unless it's plugged in, you won't get an image on your TV (assuming you leave your display cables plugged in at all times). This can be irritating if you don't record literally every time you play, but easily remedied with a USB power adapter. That's really what I was hoping to get going when I bought mine, sadly it's been nearly a year and I've barely done anything with it v: Still fun to have.
