Everything seemed so...unrelated. The rhyming seemed forced and wasn't very clever. For example: whats more than a transparent lake? ._. You need to consider your lyrics a bit more carefully, and don't force rhyme. "As corny as it may seem" does indeed sound very lame. The title of the poem is the only thing I really liked xD

Cars need to run on something. And the only boats easy to manage are rowing boats, as far as I'm aware. It takes quite a bit of skill to be able to sail.
It seems almost unbelievable that you have so many lessons, let alone homework, in one day. o__o Is it like that everyday or is the example you showed us just one of the worst? Honestly, theres no point cramming the pieces in because they're likely to end up being of a low quality and your grades will suffer. Talk to teachers and ask for extensions, and meanwhile talk to friends you share classes with and see how they're coping. You shouldn't be so overburdened.

Friends and family members would stick together, with the oldest taking the lead. At first there would obviously be mass panic, with people becoming scavangers and thieving to survive. I don't think there'd be issues with food as there'd be plenty to go around at first and then the oldest and smartest would find a way to organise food production again. But with communications, travel and education down, I can imagine it would be a lot like a tribal era again.
