"What happened to my Island? Riku? Kairi?!?" This statement proves sora wasn't thinking about his parents when destiny Islands was "gone" and when the gang is planning on going away on a raft, none of them had the nerve to ask "what are our parents going to think" or something like that... They just wanted to go... Kairi didn't really have to worry about parents but I assume someone had to take her in so wouldn't they worry too? and we don't actually know if the parents cared or not either... a) We don't get to hear or see anything about them exept for when sora's mom calls him for dinner. b) They would turn into heartless when the world got devoured by darkness (unless they escaped somehow but that isn't likely) c)what was sora's mom thinking before KH2 but after KH1? (during CoM times... Destiny Islands was back at that time so his mom could have been worrying, same with riku's parents) d) what sora's mom/parents were thinking during Kh 2 (she would have forgot him until he was re-awakened... and yet again Riku's parents)
I meant "dormant" as in they still have memories, they just aren't easy to recall. Xigbar can still remember his brawl with Ventus you know! XD
