Ash looked around upon feeling the strange sensation of approval given to him by Gaia. Something had happened but he was unsure as to what had really occurred. Ash had, admittedly, not been expecting a question to be the third trial. And it seemed that this must have been the last one he would have to go through. Folding his arms the warlock shifted his weight from one foot to another as his eyes shifted towards Valister then toward Aethelrick. Judging by the looks on their faces, it seemed that his own mind was not the only one to have been "graced" by Gaia's presence. "At least we can be grateful that the others had such a painless trial." That was, of course, if Gaia had not chosen to subject the others to a more difficult test which would have been unfair by any standard...though he would have to question whether or not the Mother of Fairies was concerned with the concept of fairness at all. In any case, it seems Morrigan must have passed her trial. It is good that I never doubted her ability. He shifted his weight once more, wondering what Gaia had planned next before the group would reunite. Once more Rhett's eyes went back to the room where Clarity had been left, her screams still clearly heard by him. "Complicated? Sounds more like you're avoiding the question but if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine by me." Rhett returned his attention back toward Creed and glanced down from the text he had been scanning through. "You know, there's plenty of little details I never got to learn about this and that but having hung around a warlock for a solid five years I've been able to get some perspective that just about no other werewolf has ever had." He turned the page carefully figuring that Hestia would not be pleased if he damaged anything that belonged to her. Angering their host would not have been the wisest idea especially considering he was still recovering from his injuries. "He--the warlock--has had plenty of dealings with all kinds of Downworlders and Nephilim. Because of that, I have had a chance to work under some pretty strange circumstances. Once, I was sent to Denmark-" A particularly loud scream from Clarity cut him off mid-sentence. "Well, it involved a strange partnership between myself, a vampire, and a Shadowhunter tracking down a particularly nasty demon. Never seen a vamp go from wanting me dead to lending a hand so quickly at the mention of one name. I'd tell you the full story but you just had to be there to really appreciate the moment." Rhett scratched his chin and thought for a short moment before speaking up once more. "Got any stories of your own? I'd ask for a sparring partner in a situation like this but that would be unwise just yet." Cin rubbed his shoulder where the hatchet from the werewolf had struck him in the earlier battle as he eyed Luce. Unsurprisingly, she seemed willing to cooperate given their dire circumstances. With parts of his armor damaged and his weapons gone, even with his brute strength a fight would be suicide. "I am prepared for whatever will get us out of here." Cin calmly replied to Luce's question. "You seem to have something in mind. What is your plan?" Despite the fact that he knew the area as well as the back of his own hand, he saw no harm to entertaining the idea that this girl could have a reasonable means of escape. While making new friends was not the first thing he had in his mind Cin knew better than to shut Luce out and force her into his plans when she could just as easily stab him in the back before they made it out. "I assume you have some experience in combat, yes?"
Inafune should have never allowed an option for so many ports. ...But that wouldn't have fixed the design flaws and 3D design. I had been super hyped when it was announced(a game that plays similarly to the X series? Yes!). Oh well.
I am everyone's senpai. ...I wish. Or not. Seems like too much responsibility. Anyway, I've been wanting to make a new KH-based RP myself but...
If you need help, I'm one of the longest-RPing RPers here. So is Boy Wonder BUT HE'S NEVER HERE.
Oh god. The nostalgia of that intro. Haven't heard it in ages. Our RP section is a little on the slow side right now but fresh blood can always liven things up. Now you can die, vegan!
There was a point in my life where I would have slaughtered those who hurt the ones I love. I do not know if I still have it in me but I will do whatever I can to put them first. Always. Even as Ash thought out his answer to Gaia's inquiry he wondered what was the point of it. Was that to be the final trial? No. Given how the other two were set up that seemed unlikely. Unless...this truly was the trial. Whether Gaia's question was it or not he had already decided to answer honestly as his lies would have been seen through anyways. I would never truly be happy if they were part of the "cost". So no, it would not be worth it. Ever. Because Ash had a vertical banner and the last time it was used was a page ago, Arch needed to use it again as to not dig through the thread to find it when he needed it. Thus, this filler was created. ....Dramatically. "Noted. Thanks for the warning." Rhett nodded as he flipped through the pages of Hestia's texts. Feeling had returned to his arms and, with it, pain. Rhett welcomed it as a reminder that he was still alive and that there was still much he could do. Creed walked over towards him and if Rhett had been in his wolf form his ears would have picked up from the sound of footsteps coming his way. Evidently, Hestia thought it was best for the two to mingle. "Not long. I met her on a business trip with Ash and I've only been around him for five years. So...maybe four? Four-and-a-half? What about you?" The werewolf glanced up from the book in his hands toward Creed. "I don't think I've seen you before today. Are you a nephilim or what?" As he spoke, he could hear Clarity's scream in the room where Hestia had vanished into. He leaned forward in his seat, tilting his head as he stared off into the room's direction. "I guess the healing process isn't a pleasant experience." He muttered under his breath, hoping Clarity's body would hold. Free to walk over towards the red-haired girl who had been brought prisoner just as he had, Cin stepped in front of the girl and eyed her curiously for a long moment as he considered what to do. "I wonder what would happen if I made an effort to kill you where you stand." He circled around Luce, his mind working onto why she had been captured instead of killed. It seemed she might have been important to the nephilim. Why would Titania really need a hostage? Would the other Shadowhunters who would stand against her stand down simply because of one girl? Still... If he chose to kill her he would risk angering Titania and she just might lose her patience and respond with lethal force. But...killing Luce now could mean slowing Titania's plans if having her alive was so important. With one swift movement Cin freed Luce of her bonds, the vines that held her falling to the ground. Titania could not be trusted and if this girl was here by force, she just might be willing to cooperate. "My forces are not enough to storm this place and free me. Not while Titania is near. For self-preservation, I suggest that we work together find a means of escape. If nothing else, we can at least stall her plans."
Irrin headed over towards a console near one of the weapon racks. The panel was offline like most of the systems on the Ouranos. "That's what I would have suggested if I was in your place." He holstered his pistol and removed the panel to expose the inner workings only to sigh in frustration when he saw the damaged systems housed inside. "Never seen a virus overload so many systems before. It could take weeks to repair everything but I think I can get some basics working again." Quint narrowed his eyes as he reached inside the console chassis to reconfigure the the system to bypass the burnt circuits. After a few minutes worth of inelegant repairs, Irrin felt that this was as good as it was going to get without wasting too much time. An engineer could come by later and undo the extra damage he had done during the repair. He replaced the panel back on the console and the screen fizzled to life. "Good." He flicked through several screens to check the status of the ship and weapons inventory to make sure nothing dangerous had been stolen. Thankfully, their inventory and life support on all decks were intact. "Hm..." The inspector scratched his chin. "What the-This can't be true. I'm not reading any other intruders. The last time I checked the sensors, on the bridge, forty had managed to force their way in." Quint made an attempt to use the console to send a message throughout the ship for non-security to keep their heads down but the panel refused to respond. "Damn. Contacting the rest of the crew is out of the question." Irrin motioned over towards the combat vests hung by the cases that held the firearms. There was no time to put on full armor. If his most recent scans were wrong and there were still intruders aboard, going down to the lower deck without protection would have been a stupid move. "Put one on and follow me down to the shuttlebay. Keep behind me. If we run into a firefight and don't have any backup on the way, I'm venting the shuttlebay." "Oh. That hurt." The red man grinned when the blade penetrated his side, a thick black liquid oozing out of his open flesh and bubbling around the wound. The handle was separated from the blade letting the sharp edge to melt and completely disintegrate upon contact with the black fluid. The ooze retracted and reentered the man's body leaving his skin, but not his clothing, completely intact as if nothing had happened at all. His grip tightened around Clarity's neck as he lifted her off her feet with his hand as if she was little more than a rag doll. "I suppose I agree with that assessment. I appreciate your moxie but I suppose I have no use for you." He closed his eyes for a brief moment, tilting his head back to face upward. "Mm...no. Two would be redundant." His grip tightened around Clarity's neck even further in a display of power. "One thing I love about your people," he chucked, "their necks aren't as difficult to snap as one of those holier-than-thou Peras." The man released his hold on Clarity and dropped her without breaking her neck or causing her permanent harm. He saw no need. As far as he was concerned, he was nothing more than a brutish madman to her. The man turned his back on Clarity and stepped out towards the open doorway and stepped out of the room and into the hall. His eyes flashed towards the girl, glowing like hot embers before vanishing around the corner. Slowly, the lights on the ship began to flicker on deck by deck. One of the pirates, the one who had shot Brianne, was struck down by her gunfire. The other two fled to dive behind the cover made by the nearby ruins. "Surrender the alien, woman!" Shouted one of the two remaining pirates. "We still have you outgunned!" The pirate popped out from cover to fire a few potshots of plasma bolts at her position. "That freak is coming with us! Why risk your life for a stranger? You can walk out of here with your head still on your shoulders, girl!" Janus and his troop settled themselves inside the shuttle, the Maraku eyeing Yvette's motions suspiciously as the vessel took off. He knew anyone trained in the Coalition Corps would be prepared for a situation like this but fortunately, his people were well-equipped for a stealthy escape. "There's a set of shuttle doors at the back of our ship. It should be located near your own vessel." He made a short pause as he strapped himself in his seat. "I'm sure this thing has a decent scanner. If you look at your sensor readings over there you'll find that the Ouranos is having a little engine trouble. It will be some time before they will be able to break orbit." The man shifted in his seat and looked over at the seven other women aboard from his group. They each moved around uncomfortably in place while their eyes darted around the interior of the shuttle. "Relax. We'll be home soon." Resting the stock of his rifle on the floor Janus leaned forward, his grip still tight on the barrel of his gun. "My memory is a little fuzzy but I know I recognize you from somewhere. Perhaps if we had been allowed to stay on Tyche I would actually-" "Give it a rest, Janus. If you're so curious, look her up on the database, otherwise shut up. I've still got a headache." One of the women spoke up as she buried her head into her hands and hunched forward. Though the women who boarded the shuttle with Janus were of varying ages, with the youngest looking to be in her late teens and the eldest(who had spoken) appearing to be in her thirties, they all bore similar features to each other. Straight black hair. "Alright. Fine." Janus sighed and returned his attention back to Yvette. "What rank are you, girl? Ensign? Lieutenant?"
Noctis and co's journey is to deliver pizza to Luna. She needs her stuffed crust dammit.
...
A King's Tale looks interesting at least. But Square is kinda oversaturating us with stuff now. Anyway, rejoice! Brotherhood episode 2 "Dogged Runner" is here.
You know what else is grid-based? Yo momma. But seriously. Why grid-based? Just got an itching for that lately or something?
New best Spidey game? Hopefully.
Looks like this game isn't dead. It's now called Death Stranding.
A Star Trek VR game is coming but I doubt it's what you're looking for. Or maybe it is. I know I'm looking forward to it...despite how expensive several VR sets would be.
Even FFXV is hopping on the VR bandwagon. I wonder how far this VR Prompto stuff goes.
You're basically asking for a true Star Trek game.
Out Feb. 14th, 2017.
Surprisingly, the E3 trailer doesn't look as over-the-top as the first game's.
Titan boss fight at Microsoft's conference.
Well that early leak was taken down fast. But at least the premier already happened. A few things to note: Marcus Holloway is much better at parkour than Aiden was. You can hack everyone and every car in several different ways. Apparently you can remote control several things and hack a group of people at once to make a distraction. You can pet dogs. Yay. Too bad we can't judge how the game will look based off the trailers.
