So much sadness put across in the last two chapters. D:

The flashbacks are powerful, particularly the one to her six year old self which reminds the reader for just how long Emma's life has been bad.

    KEEP WRITING. >|

    Seldom

It was a decent enough story, and the quality of your writing is good enough, but I see what you mean about this first chapter being awkward. I think the main problem is the way you introduce your characters. You rely on the use of dialogue to reveal their names (except in Rena's case) and this can be too frustrating after a while for the reader. Your sentences are limited if you don't reveal names soon enough (you can only use personal pronouns).

Find different ways to introduce characters. It can even be simple such as "As the boy turned around, he was revealed to be Rena's doe-eyed friend, Scott." Or, take less time to introduce them.

You used much less detail in the third part of the chapter- it added more mystery to the setting. I've brought to mind an image of a secretive meeting of assassins or something. xD I'm not overly eager to see more, but this has quite a lot of potential to go somewhere great. Keep writing. :3

The second drawing is better than the first, but still has many flaws (though you're pretty good for a beginner).

    > Here < is an excellent tutorial for drawing anime faces.

This is what taught me how to draw anime hair. The tutorials I've linked are some of the best I've ever come across. If you don't understand what they're trying to show you at first, tackle little sections at a time (e.g. drawing the neck and chin) and work from there.

I see you've done the typical job of hiding the hands behind the body, so as to avoid drawing hands. Too many people are scared of drawing hands! Have a go, look at some references- it get's easier the more you try. c:

You seem to enjoy using details in the eyes you draw, so that could be something you could really improve and master. ^^

WHAT I SERIOUSLY DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE DALK

...I THOUGHT DALK HAD GONE MISSING. FFFFFFFFFF-

Like I said on dA, this is epic. Would look stupid with color, much better without. Would make an excellent character for a comic strip, though. Rage face go.

Am I the only person who likes all the FF protagonists? xD

I didn't mind the emo-ness, or the arrogance, or the stupidity. They were all likeable enough, people just had pet hates ("Why is Tidus such a pussy!? Why is Cloud always depressing?").

Having said that, I look forward to a main female protagonist for a change. (Not including X-2 in this one) Although I'm sure many people will have a reason to hate Lightning too. Maybe she'll turn out "too butch". xD

You've just gained a watcher on dA ;3

So many wonderful pieces! I'm usually not a big fan of this sort of gothic style but you pull it off and the lineart is awesome c:

The first piece is a bit simple, my favourite was most definitely "IF Function". The line shading is amazing <3 The wings are beautifully drawn and everything is just the right amount of creepiness. At first I thought the boy had a union jack inside of him. o.O

"Under the love Umbrella" is my second-most favourite- using one color to break the monotone isn't an original idea but you've done it well.

Alex's spine is curved too unrealisticly, although in general you're pretty good with body dimensions etc.

You've made me want to draw again x3

I believe every magic trick only works due to a hidden mechanism. I believe every charm or spell that has "worked" is only down to luck or coincidence- hence so many that have "failed". It's a bit egoistic to think you have magical powers in my opinion, actually.

I've been shown magic tricks in my lifetime, and have then been shown how they work too. I suppose people who claim to be able to see people's auras and interpret their mood are really just reading body language, expression etc.

Religion was born out of fear of the unknown and the need for guidance. In ancient times, people worshipped the sun because all life seemed to stem from it. Religion has stayed with us because people like hope. Over the years things have developed, many different religions and branches spread from different places, and a higher being was put forward as the creator of the universe. People continue to believe in God/gods because of things like intelligent design.

Let people have opinions, seriously. In my opinion, it's not down to just maturity but also experience. How can you be sure you've found "the one" if you're still just in your teenage years?
I don't think there should be a "set time" for how long they should be together before they can marry. And it's strange how you assume the boy will be leaving the girl. o.O

    Wait, you do?

What do you mean by background? And I would certainly prefer to have lustful feelings towards the person I was going to marry. xD

If teenagers want to get married, let them do it. If they feel they are prepared, then let them learn by their mistakes. You can give them all the advice in the world, but sometimes it doesn't quite break through the barrier of love. And who knows, maybe it'll turn into a happy marriage in spite of all the misgivings. xD (then again, I sort of draw the line around 16 >>

Each chapter is more like a diary extract, except with no set time or knowledge that the entries are chronological. In some ways its not a story at all. xD
